This paper proposes blind equalization algorithm of decision-directed based on higher-order cumulant to solve these problems. Take third-order cumulant as example, some simulations of the algorithm are made under different weather conditions. The simulation results show that the effect of blind blind equalization algorithm of decision-directed based on higher-order cumulant is better than that of classical adjudging and inducing method, which having quick convergency in addition gives advantage to improve signal attenuation and inter-symbol interferences in atmosphere laser communication system.","PeriodicalId":155352,"journal":{"name":"2010 Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130925830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

TiOx wires are fabricated by atomic force microscope (AFM), and the Ti lines are fabricated by photolithograph method. Oxide is used as insulator/energy barrier between the electrodes to substitute the air gap of traditional type photoconductive semiconductive switches (PCSS). The electrodes and substrate's materials are Ti-Au and LT-GaAs respectively. The simulation result indicated that the voltage or current output characteristic of the PCSS is different from the traditional switch. Based on a conventional refractive long-length objective, a lightweight Hybrid Diffractive - Refractive (HDR) long-length objective was designed with the CODE V software. The optical parameters of the system were that focal length was 100 mm, full field-of-view was 6.2°,diameter is 20mm.,and its wavelength range is from 486.1 mm to 656.27 mm. The surface profile parameter of the diffractive optical element was calculated accurately. The mean MTF approached to 0.6 at the frequency of 50lp/mm. The aberration characteristics of the conventional refractive and the designed HRD optical system were compared such as spot diagram, MTF curve, distortion and field curvature. The results show that the image quality of the HDR system is significantly improved, and can meet the demands at the situation with high accuracy.","PeriodicalId":155352,"journal":{"name":"2010 Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133395802","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mode characteristic is analyzed and the ridge waveguide is designed with effective index method (EIM). Optical field distribution has been simulated by Beam Propagation Method (BPM). Aiming at a smaller conductor loss and better impedance match, the structural parameters of electrode are also optimized. Combining with the parameters of the ridge waveguide and the electrode, velocities match between lightwave and microwave can be achieved. We showed that the thickness of the additional layer on the electrode must be taken into account because there is a significant change in the characteristic impedance. These phosphors have a broad excitation band range from near ultraviolet to blue region (340-460nm). The phosphors have three emission bands peaking at 615nm, 480nm and 420 nm respectively under excitation of 380nm irradiation. Two emissions peaking at 420nm and 480nm originated from the 5d to 4f transition of Eu2+ ions that occupy two Ba2+ sites in the crystal of Ba3MgSi2-xAlxO8. The 615nm emission is attributed to the energy transferring from Eu2+ to Mn2+. The intensity ratio between the 420nm and 480nm emissions varied with different concentration of Al ions. When the concentrations of the Eu2+, Mn2+ and Al3+ were 0.1mol, 0.1mol and 0.35mol in the phosphor respectively, the phosphor presented intense white emitting under the excitation of 380nm irradiation. The GaN (380nm)-based Ba2.9Mg0.9Si1.65Al0.35O8:0.1Eu2+ 0.1Mn2+ white LED with the CIE coordinate of (0.3085,0.3139) and color rendering of over 85 was obtained.","PeriodicalId":155352,"journal":{"name":"2010 Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics","volume":"07 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131319872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The amount of fat, protein and water in pork meat were determined by the national standard analysis methods as reference. The quantitative analysis models of the above constituents in pork meat were developed by using partial least squares (PLS) regression with internal cross-validation and optimized through spectra pretreatment and spectra region selection. The correlation coefficients (R2) of the calibration models of fat, protein and water based on integrating sphere diffuse reflectance were 90.24%, 91.95% and 90.15%, respectively. And the values of RMSECV of these models were 0.377%, 0.011% and 0.323%, respectively. For the models on optical fiber bundle diffuse reflectance spectra, the values of R2 were 83.68%, 87.97% and 83.27% respectively, the values of RMSECV were 0.321%, 0.0099% and 0.277%, respectively. The calibration models were further validated by the prediction sample sets. The prediction mean square error (RMSEP) of the three constituents were 0.254%, 0.011% and 0.168% for the models established on integrating sphere diffuse reflectance spectra, the value of R2 were 96.64%, 91.51% and 97.45%, respectively. For the models on diffuse reflectance optic fiber probe spectra, the values of RMSEP were 0.361%, 0.012% and 0.193%, respectively, the values of R2 were 81.03%, 84.48% and 91.39%, respectively. T test results showed that there was no significant difference between actual values and the values predicted by the NIR models. Although the optical integrating sphere got a little higher prediction accuracy and stability than the optical fiber diffuse reflectance probe, both sampling methods could meet the rapid non-destructive determination of the amounts fat, protein and water in pork meat, and the latter is more suitable for hand-held and convenient.","PeriodicalId":155352,"journal":{"name":"2010 Symposium on Photonics and Optoelectronics","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133799565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
