First, we derive the closed-form expression of the sum rate of the proposed cross-correlated SC scheme. Then, numerical analyses demonstrate that the sum rate of the proposed cross-correlated SC scheme is larger than that of the conventional auto-correlated SC scheme. We also show that for the stronger channel gain user, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gain of the proposed cross-correlated SC scheme is about 15, compared with the conventional auto-correlated SC scheme. As a result, the proposed cross-correlated SC scheme could be a promising technology for 6G ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC).","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"1-7"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89547938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data from the 2014, 2016, and 2018 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey were used, and 7,995 people aged 40-64 who answered the level of stress perception were targeted. Data analysis was performed using IBM SPSS ver.25.0, and the significance level was set to .05. As a result of the study, in the feeling less stressed group, household income level, education level, frequency of dinning out, drinking amount at a time, smoking, subjective health, and depression were found to be significant influencing factors, and the explanatory power was 21.4% (p < .001). In the feeling a lot stressed group, household income level, education level, living with a spouse, weekly breakfast frequency, aerobic physical activity, smoking, subjective health, and depression were significant influencing factors, and the explanatory power was 38.7% (p < .001). Therefore, it is suggested to consider each influencing factor in the middle-aged stress reduction intervention.","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"38 1","pages":"307-317"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74422169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data was collected from 140 nursing students by the online survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. As a result of analyzing the differences in academic stress, clinical practice stress, and major satisfaction according to general characteristics, it was found that academic stress had a difference with religion (F = 14.348, p < .001). And there was a statistical difference in major satisfaction with grade (F = 4.582, p = .004). As for the correlation between academic and clinical practice stress, and major satisfaction, academic stress and clinical practice stress were positively correlated (r = .388, p <.01), and clinical practice stress had a positive correlation with major satisfaction (r=.336, p<.01). Therefore, it is considered that it is necessary to develop a program to lower academic stress in order to improve the satisfaction of the majors of nursing students.","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"6 1","pages":"272-277"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80451318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using this technique, the selective oxidation fin-channel MOSFET (SoxFET) has the gate-all-around structure and gradually enhanced S/D extension regions. The SoxFET demonstrated over 70% reduction in S/D series resistance compared to the control device. Moreover, it was found that the SoxFET behaved better in performance, not only a higher drive current but also higher transconductances with suppressing subthreshold swing and drain induced barrier lowering (DIBL) characteristics, than the control device. The saturation current, threshold voltage, peak linear transconductance, peak saturation transconductance, subthreshold swing, and DIBL for the fabricated SoxFET are 305 μA/μm, 0.33 V, 13.5 μS, 76.4 μS, 78 mV/dec, and 62 mV/V, respectively.","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"19 1","pages":"104-110"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83069672","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the procurement of electric vehicles and much of the electric energy of the future still depends on fossil fuels. Accordingly, the importance of the IT industry is highlighted, and the demand for hydrogen-electric vehicles and related industries increases. The method of this study investigated the relevance of EV charging as a future next-generation power source rather than the electric energy demand of the IT industry. This study derives the correlation between industrial electricity and household energy PPP according to economic growth through empirical regression analysis. As the result, it was found that the amount of change, including electric and next-generation electric vehicles, was significant for on thirds of the countries in the change in purchasing power compared to GDP. This affects overall purchasing power as twelve out of thirty two countries with EV demand (Italy, Canada, Switzerland, Poland, Slovenia, Germany, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia, Denmark) are more sensitive to electric energy. This is related to the charging of EVs or hydrogen as the next-generation power of the future rather than the electric energy demand of the IT industry. By preventing waste of unused electricity of IT-electric energy sources and charging-preserving hydrogen electricity, it seems indispensable to prepare for the national IT power conservation buffer facility for supply and demand in future growth.","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"29 2","pages":"40-48"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91492125","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: This study investigates the antimicrobial activity of two types of lactic acid bacteria using essential oils. After cultivation by adding grapefruit seed extract (GSE), eucalyptus, tea tree, clove bud, cinnamon, lemongrass, thyme, and ginger oils in a specific ratio, pathogenic microorganisms, namely E. coli, C. albicans, and lactic acid bacteria were released. The number of bacteria was measured using a medium suitable for the strains. Results: The essential oils and GSE inhibited pathogenic microorganisms, and the inhibitory concentration of GSE against pathogenic bacteria (E. coli, C. albicans) was confirmed. The non-inhibitory mixing ratio was also confirmed (50 μl of eucalyptus globulus (EG) oil and 50 μl of melaleuca alternifolia oil (tea tree oil, TTO) at 200 ppm GSE (pH 5.0, 5.5, 6.0)). Conclusion: Essential oils can be considered as an alternative to antibiotics because of their antibacterial properties. They are useful as auxiliary antibacterial agents for patients under long-term antibiotic treatment.","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"7 1","pages":"198-205"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82335538","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More specifically, this study has extended the previous findings from the related literature by considering the effect of information search cost and providing empirical evidences about the effect of voluntary disclosure of low quality, using an experimental method with purchase scenarios. The results from our analysis show that reduced perceived risk have an important effect on sharing negative information, while the effect of information search cost is minimal. We also explain the circumstances whereby the information disclosure of a seller with low-quality product can enhance not only the seller’s profitability but also customers’ welfare by increasing the market demand and the demand for the seller claiming high quality.","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"56 1","pages":"230-241"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91304869","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Twenty-eight students majoring in English were engaged in a digital storytelling assignment as a part of the content curriculum. Findings from the questionnaire and reflective essays that investigated students perceptions of digital storytelling showed that students felt that the assignment helped them engage in the task and felt motivated. In comparison to traditional writing tasks, students perceived digital storytelling to be more engaging and motivating, but felt that the assignment required more mental effort and caused more anxiety. By supporting students to explore technology and implement multimodal aspects in the learning process, digital storytelling can encourage engagement and autonomous learning to create meaningful works that are purposeful and enjoyable.","PeriodicalId":15438,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Convergence Information Technology","volume":"26 1","pages":"174-184"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89110812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
