Emphasis is placed on Zeno’s paradoxes and some classic demonstrations of modern mathematics, in which proof by reductio ad absurdum is used widely. In other words, we intend to discuss the logical-mathematical history of reductio ad absurdum, from the birth of logic in Heraclitus, Parmenides and Zeno and ipso facto to establish a relationship between Heraclitus, Parmenides and Zeno and modern mathematical logic. The method used was the bibliographic, referring mainly to secondary sources due to the strictly theoretical nature of the subject.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134155696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So, this research is born from the perspective that the use of mathematical games in the teaching of mathematics has gained emphasis in the school environment as a result of the contribution to the student’s cognitive development. The present research sought to present a methodological proposal based on mathematical games in order to create dynamic strategies for the teaching and learning process related to the teaching of mathematics. To support this bibliographic research, we relied on works dealing with mathematics and mathematical games. It is expected to present the importance of bringing games to the classroom, not as a proposal just to amuse students, but to make them acquire the mathematical knowledge presented under a new approach. Therefore, games show good results in terms of expanding student learning through alternative problem-solving methods, encouraging the ability to create and participate more actively in math classes.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129666532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its mouth is embedded in a mangrove ecosystem, which is a nursery of species of marine animals, used for feeding and reproduction. The mangrove is a source for riparian communities, as a way of subsistence, however, this process does not occur in a sustainable way and are often degraded. Besides these actions, there is an irregular occupation of the area, as well as deforestation and diversion of the course of the river to establish shrimp farming tanks, which continues to attack and accelerate the sedimentation of the area, in order to identify environmental problems in the region, we used the sounding technique for an evaluation.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134150462","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cases such as the golden mussel, the zebra mussel, and the North Pacific star, among others, caused economic problems in the fishing activity, and in the industry, such as cases of clogging in coolers and maintenance in hydroelectric turbines. The cholera epidemic took place a long time ago, this was also due to the transport of ballast between continents. Onshore ballast water treatments are quite costly and require logistical support. Ballast water treatment on board despite having to change the project, and having physical space in the engine room seems to be an excellent alternative, there are already projects being manufactured, and these have already been approved by the IMO. There is also the alternative of reusing ballast water, through desalination by reverse osmosis, in which fresh water is obtained that can be used for other purposes. The present work aims to demonstrate the problems arising from bioinvasion, and ballast water treatment alternatives, and their advantages.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114876731","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this work aimed to show the importance of practice activities involving physics subjects such as mechanics and electrostatics in science courses. The main problems confronted by students are related to the types of methodological procedures, the lack of adequate knowledge in the introduction of the teaching of physics, the lack of professionals trained in the area, and focusing on only mathematical foundation and formulas memorization teaching. Because of this, classes aimlessly create fragmented insight concerning the science course. Enhance the importance of teaching physics and simultaneously defend the use of low-cost materials in experimental activities stimulate the student a thirst for knowledge and enhances the teaching-learning process in science. Thus, urging students' interest in materials handling and apply contextualization facilitates and improves knowledge construction, especially in understanding natural sciences contents.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123946001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the intensification of investments and incentives in the development of innovative projects for energy generation, from renewable sources, it was verified the occurrence of benefits from both the electric, socioeconomic and environmental point of view. This research has as main focus the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in conjunction with the multicriterial Evaluation Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), aiming to define the most favorable areas for installation of systems of electric power generation through solar energy photovoltaic, with the state of Santa Catarina being the object of study. A set of criterias were defined regarding the implementation of solar power plants, such as: the availability of the existing solar radiation in the area, the distance of electric power transmission lines, distance from streets, distances from urbanized areas, the declivity of the area, the existence of conservation units, the hydrography and, land use and occupation. Afther that, it was possible to perform analysis and considerations on the highlighted areas, with greater aptitude to build solar energy plants, verifying if the adopted criterias provided a coherent result due to the geographic, occupational and solar irradiance characteristics of Santa Catarina State. It was also possible to quantify the areas identified as more proper, by presenting them on a solar photovoltaic potential map and also, to estimate its total solar energy potential.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130508755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this sense, studies have shown that one of the main causes of the disappearance of insects is directly related to the use of pesticides, which in addition to being a highly aggressive product for the environment, are also harmful to the health of individuals. Based on this assumption, the present work has as main objective to carry out a survey with the main works that describe about the effect of the use of pesticides in the reduction of insects. To carry out the study, a methodological research was used based on a literature review with reading in several books, magazines and scientific articles.
