This narrative review aims to understand the conceptual evolution, causes and possible interventions associated with mathematics anxiety. Using a bibliographic methodology, articles, books and reports published in renowned academic databases were analyzed. As the main theoretical framework, the cognitive-behavioral perspective was adopted, which understands mathematical anxiety as a result of interactions between cognitive, behavioral and environmental processes. The results point to a multifaceted understanding of the phenomenon, highlighting not only individual factors, such as self-efficacy and past experiences, but also external factors, such as teaching methods and teachers’ attitudes. Interventions aimed at reducing mathematics anxiety have focused on both pedagogical strategies and psychotherapeutic approaches, demonstrating the need for an interdisciplinary approach to tackle the problem. This work contributes to the literature by consolidating dispersed knowledge and indicating future paths for educational research and practice.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"31 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141107991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, this is due to the fact that it is a crop exploited, for the most part, by the segment of small producers, currently known as family farmers. However, phytosanitary problems can compromise the productivity of this crop. Therefore, due to the relevance of the subject and the importance of cassava farming for the State of Amapá, this work aims to investigate the perception of cassava producers in settlements in the municipality of Amapá regarding the main diseases and pests that affect cassava farming in crops. The work carried out in the two settlements (Piquiá and Cruzeiro) located in the municipality of Amapá. Interviews were carried out with producers using a questionnaire with questions about cassava farmers’ perception of diseases and pests that affect cassava cultivation. The plant health data showed that cassava farmers reported the presence of pests and diseases that affect the crop, such as root rot, shoot fly and thread burning, but they did not practice the main strategies to prevent the proliferation of pathogens and insects.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"120 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140755841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the effectiveness of these projects in providing healthy and sustainable living environments is often questioned after occupation. Thus, this research proposes to explore the relevance of bioclimatism in the post-occupation evaluation of housing complexes. By examining this intersection between bioclimatism and post-occupation, we can identify gaps in the design, construction and management of housing complexes, thus contributing to the evolution of architectural and urban practices. Objective: To understand how bioclimatic principles influence the performance of residential buildings after occupation. Methodology: This study relies on a literature search approach to explore the role of bioclimatism in the post-occupancy assessment of housing developments. Results and Discussion: The results obtained from the post-occupancy analysis of housing complexes with a focus on bioclimatism revealed significant insights into the influence of these approaches on the performance of buildings and the well-being of occupants. The selected case studies spanned a variety of climate contexts and architectural designs, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the impacts of bioclimatism in practice. A striking finding is that bioclimatic principles play a decisive role in the thermal comfort of living spaces. Buildings that incorporated design strategies aimed at solar orientation, cross ventilation and the use of shading elements demonstrated superior performance in maintaining adequate indoor temperatures. Conclusion: The bioclimatic approach not only improves the performance of buildings, but also creates healthier, more sustainable and more pleasant living environments. However, to maximize the benefits of bioclimatism, an ongoing effort in awareness, education and collaboration between professionals and occupants is required. The development of specific guidelines for different climate contexts and the promotion of sustainable building standards can further enhance the positive impact of bioclimatism on urban housing.","PeriodicalId":153934,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates","volume":"353 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122852663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
