The wound healing process has 3 phases, namely the inflammatory phase, the proliferation phase, and the maturation phase. This study aims to provide differentiation of pharmaceutical literature, especially in wound treatment, and improve the use of papaya plants (Carica papaya L.) into standardized herbal medicine preparations or even phytopharmaka in the future. This article discusses the effectiveness of papaya plants (Carica papaya L.) on wound healing through a narrative review, from the Google Scholar database published in the last 5 years (2016-2020). The results of the review of 10 papers stated that papaya plants (Carica papaya L.) contain a variety of compounds including enzymes papain, saponins, flavonoids that play a role in the wound healing process. The data in the review showed that the administration of papaya plants (Carica papaya L.) which includes the sap, stems, seeds, and leaves has a good effect on the wound healing process and has antibacterial activity that causes wound infections.","PeriodicalId":153904,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Farmagazine","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128453713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to determine the physical properties of the lotion and at what concentration the ethanol extract lotion 70% of keji beling leaves (Strobilanthes crispa (L.) Blume) has the most optimal activity as an antioxidant. This type of research is experimental research with descriptive analysis. The extract of the keji beling leaf was made by maceration method using 70% ethanol as a solvent. The active ingredient used in the manufacture of the lotion is the extract of the leaves of the vile leaf (Strobilanthes crispa (L.) Blume) with various concentrations of F0 0%, FI 1%, FII 2%, FIII 3% and FIV (positive control). All formulas for lotion were tested by physical evaluation including (organoleptic observation, homogeneity, viscosity, pH, dispersibility, adhesion, emulsion type o / w or w / o and hedonic) as well as testing for antioxidant activity. The results of the physical evaluation of the preparations stated that all lotion preparations met the physical quality requirements, namely brownish green, thick in shape, distinctive odor of vile leaf extract, homogeneous, viscosity 3887-6017 cps, pH 5.16.9, spreadability 5.6 -5.9 cm, adhesiveness of 5.9-6.4 seconds, the type of lotion o / w (oil in water) and the hedonic test showed that the respondents liked the attractive color, fragrant smell, and texture of the lotion. Excessive exposure to free radicals makes the body need antioxidants from outside. The fiddle leaf (Ficus lyrata Warb.) has antioxidant activity. The aim of the study was to determine the antioxidant activity of extract, fractions and subfractions of fiddle leaf using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazil (DPPH) method. Extraction method by maceration using ethanol 96%. Fractionation was carried out by liquid-liquid extraction using three solvents with increasing polarity, namely n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and waterethanol, and monitored by thin layer chromatography (TLC) and tested for antioxidant activity. The selected fraction was simplified by gradient elution system column chromatography and tested for antioxidant activity. Kurangnya molekul obat tertentu atau strategi pengobatan untuk melawan penyakit ini membuatnya semakin parah. Oleh karena itu, molekul obat yang efektif sangat dibutuhkan untuk melawan COVID-19. Protease utama (Mpro) dari SARS CoV 2, komponen kunci dari replikasi virus ini, dianggap sebagai target utama pengembangan obat anti-COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah senyawa yang ada di dalam tumbuhan Camellia sinensis berpotensi sebagai obat COVID-19. Jenis penelitian adalah in silico menggunakan metode molecular docking. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 8 senyawa aktif, CG (Catechin gallat) dan ECG (Epicatechin gallate) menunjukkan potensi untuk diteliti lebih lanjut, karena potensi aktivitasnya lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan senyawa pembanding Remdesivir, dengan score masing-masing -111,407 dan -111.391. Selain itu juga melakukan visualisasi residu setiap senyawa yang ada pada tumbuhan Camellia sinensis dengan Reseptor SARS-CoV-2 menggunakan Webserver PLIP. Sebanyak 5 senyawa aktif dari tanaman Camellia sinensis disaring melalui penapisan berdasarkan parameter Lipinski’s Rule of Five dan prediksi ADMET menggunakan pkCSM. Potensi inhibisi SARS-CoV-2 oleh Catechin gallat dan Epicatechin gallat dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi titik awal dalam proses pengembangan obat terapi COVID-19 dari senyawa bahan alam.","PeriodicalId":153904,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Farmagazine","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127213182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
