In detail, the rapid synchronization method to reduce the handshake bandwidth requirement is demonstrated. The hardware of the system includes the laser driver system, the signal amplifying and shaping system, the data interface system. The hardware specified physical layer protocol is used to interface the outer data, serialize and deserialize the data stream, check transmission errors and schedule the data transmission. The overall system is a FIFO-like system and the user can use it as if he's operating a FIFO. The system is designed mainly for terrestrial FSO link whose signal channel is the atmosphere. Due to the complex composition and activity of the atmosphere, this signal channel brings in great influence on the transmitting laser in it, for example, the absorption and scattering of the atmosphere molecules and aerosols, the scintillation of received laser power caused by the turbulence of the atmosphere, all of which results in a much higher Bit Error Rate (BER) of the communication system than wired communication systems leading to frequent resynchronization. In our system, the sampling clock is generated locally using multi-phase sampling technique rather than PLLbased clock recovery, which helps to rapid synchronization.","PeriodicalId":153613,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Control Engineering and Communication Technology","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134045066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its main principle is: when pests go through detection electrodes of the sensor, its capacitance value will change. Due to different species of the grain pests have different dielectric constant, then, the change range is also different. According to different capacitance value range, the capacitance detection circuit determines the species of pests, and records the changing times of capacitance to determine the quantity of grain pests. The sensor has the advantages of the low power and the wireless transmission of the detection data and so on, and is suitable for large range of promotion. This has great significance on the China's grain safety.","PeriodicalId":153613,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Control Engineering and Communication Technology","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132336277","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PRIF does this by equally distributing the stream of items into several sub-threads, each of which runs an optimized weighted Frequent algorithm independently and in parallel. The items with frequency increments over a pre-defined threshold in the sub-threads are sent to a merging thread which uses the same optimized weighted Frequent algorithm to provide the final e-deficient frequent items. The theoretical correctness analysis is presented. Experiments with three real traffic traces show that PRIF exhibits excellent scalability and delivers almost linear speedup.","PeriodicalId":153613,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Control Engineering and Communication Technology","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134588812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To overcome the multicast capacity loss caused by the conventional multicast scheme where the rate of a subcarrier is determined by the worst channel user, the fine granularity scalability (FGS) video coding is exploited in the multicast system. The FGS decomposes the video contents into a base layer and an enhancement layer, and the enhancement layer streaming only has to be transmitted to part of the multicast users based on their channel conditions. The corresponding subcarrier and power allocation problem is formulated as a mixed binary integer programming problem. The goal is to maximize the system total throughput while satisfying the total power constraint and the minimum base layer transmission rate requirement constraints. Then we develop an asymptotically optimal resource allocation scheme based on the dual decomposition method to solve the resource allocation problem. Simulation results show that the algorithm we proposed can significantly improve the network's multicast capacity compare with the available suboptimal schemes.","PeriodicalId":153613,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Control Engineering and Communication Technology","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124708921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
