These parameters measured more significant by ultrasonic interferometer. Present research scheme concern to measurements of ultrasonic velocity and density for solutions of 4-ethylthiocarbamidophenol (ETP) at different molar concentrations (i.e. 0.1M, 0.075M, 0.050M and 0.025M) and 300 K, in 70% compositions of ethanol-water mixtures. These determinations sustain estimation of adiabatic compressibility (β ), apparent molal compressibility (k), apparent molal volume (v), intermolecular free length (Lf), relative association (RA) and specific acoustic impedance (Z). These properties were help to know about solute-solute and solute-solvent interactions in solvent. New Eco-labels for textile products and tighter restrictions on wastewater discharges are forcing textile wet processors to reuse process water and chemicals. This challenge has prompted intensive research in new advanced treatment technologies. Among all the treatments proposed, bagasse has been reported to be a potential adsorbent for the removal of pollutants or color from the wastewater. Hegazy, Nermen Mohamed Baheg","doi":"10.29055/JCCS/694","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29055/JCCS/694","url":null,"abstract":"Carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites (CFRP) are widely used in variety of applications such as flexible aerodynamic surfaces on aircraft, under water flexible vehicles, flexible robotic skeletons and engineering applications. Epoxy resins (ER) are usually employed as the polymeric matrix, in which the fabric laminates are embedded. Although Carbon fabric/resin composites possess outstanding mechanical performance and good process-ability, however, ER are relatively brittle which causes a major problem for the performance of the final structure. In our present study, a woven carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite, with nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) as the polymeric matrix were fabricated by hand layup method followed by compression molding. Different concentrations (5,10,15 and 20 part per hundred, phr) of an ER were added to the NBR formulations and compared with similarly-processed CFRP reference material produced without NBR. Various static and dynamic mechanical properties were examined experimentally. The results revealed that CFRP composite containing 10 phr epoxy resin showed significant improvement in the impact strength and flexural strength due to the good energy absorbing of NBR. In addition, tensile strength decreased while elongation at break percentage increased because of high strain capability and elastic recovery of the nitrile rubber. The dynamic mechanical test results such as tan delta, glass Sawsan Fakhry Halim, et al., J. Chem. & Cheml. Sci. Adhesion between wood flour and polypropylene was improved by using maleic anhydride polypropylene (MAPP) compatibilizer and optimum level was 1.5% (weight basis) resulting improvement in mechanical properties such as as tensile, impact, flexural and hardness. Improvement in mechanical properties was found by using higher (finer) mesh size wood flour powder.
