It has been simulated by using LS-DYNA finite- element software to analyze damage effectiveness of BLU-113, which BLU-113 attacks underground protective works under different deepness from 10 to 22m. In the simulation, shotcrete layers, anchor-hold rocks and loose rocks are taken into account. The penetration process and explosive process of BLU-113 both are simulated. The calculating results reveal that co-damage effectiveness of penetration and explosion can’t be ignored in the study on earth penetrator weapon. The new approach applies the wavelet packet transform to process speech signal to obtain optimal wavelet tree to allocate the dynamic bits, and then uses the modified SPIHT coding algorithm to compress the coefficients from the wavelet packet transform. The entropy coding is also used to increase the compression ratio. This paper focuses on employing the proposed differential cultural (DC) algorithm to design FIR and IIR digital filters. DC is a global stochastic searching technique that can find out the global optima of the problem more rapidly. After describing the theory and method of DC, we present how to use it in FIR and IIR digital filters design. A uniform B-spline of degree 5 is adopted for cam curve description, and an optimal design model to integrate the design requirements is presented. Using Genetic Algorithm to optimize the control points of B-splines according to the design requirements, an application example on kinematical optimization of cam curve is presented with detailed discussion.
