Nonetheless, in the health domain, many times the user provides free-text reviews which are not clearly focused on a few specific features. The present study proposes a methodology for recommending hospitals according to textual opinions which describe the quality of the offered services. First, it detects hospital aspects, which represent the hospital services, by a Latent Dirichlet Allocation-based approach following the criteria of a quality model called SERVQUAL. The polarity of those aspects is computed and modelled by intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Depending on the user preferences or his/her attitude, the aspects are aggregated to finally rank the alternative hospitals following a Multicriteria Decision Making algorithm (PROMETHEE II). The methodology has been tested using a large collection of free-text reviews on hospitals, which contain information about their offered services, obtaining interesting results.","PeriodicalId":151289,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129734822","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We present some of the issues connected with the use of Mizar-computerized proof assistant together with its extensive repository of mathematical texts checked for their logical correctness called the Mizar Mathematical Library, based on Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory and classical first order logic. As some building blocks towards fuzzy numbers were provided, we implemented some important tools needed for proper formalization work, as nine basic fuzzy implications, opening also possibility of smooth introducing virtually any operators of such kind. Together with triangular norms and conorms this development seems promising as the preliminary step towards fuzzy logic in the repository of Mizar texts.","PeriodicalId":151289,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE)","volume":"605 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132799746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through count, sum, min, max and avg operators database instances can be counted and summarized. Attached to such operators, group by and having clauses make it possible to define partitions on database instances as well as filter partitions according to Boolean conditions. In this paper, we define aggregation operators for the language FSA-SPARQL, which is a fuzzy extension of the Semantic Web query language SPARQL. We present the semantics of such operators with regard to fuzzy RDF triple patterns. We also provide mechanisms in FSA-SPARQL for the partition of fuzzy RDF triple patterns with regard to fuzzy sets, as well as for the filtering of partitions. The proposed extension has been implemented and it can be tested from the FSA-SPARQL Web site.","PeriodicalId":151289,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE)","volume":"1 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130012177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, accurate trust estimation still remains distant as existing works do not consider all malicious features of vehicles, such as dropping or delaying packets, altering content, and injecting false information. Moreover, data consistency of messages is not guaranteed here as they pass through multiple paths and can easily be altered by malicious relay vehicles. This leads to difficulty in measuring the effect of content tampering in trust calculation. Further, unreliable wireless communication of VANETs and unpredictable vehicle behavior may introduce uncertainty in the trust estimation and hence its accuracy. In this view, we put forward three trust factors - captured by fuzzy sets to adequately model malicious properties of a vehicle and apply a fuzzy logic-based algorithm to estimate its trust. We also introduce a parameter to evaluate the impact of content modification in trust calculation. Experimental results reveal that the proposed scheme detects malicious vehicles with high precision and recall and makes decisions with higher accuracy compared to the state-of-the-art.","PeriodicalId":151289,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114538406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fuzzy semantic similarity measures allow the modelling of words in a given context with a tolerance for the imprecise nature of human perceptions. In this work, we look at how this imprecision can be addressed with the use of fuzzy semantic similarity measures in the field of natural language processing. A fuzzy influence factor is introduced into an existing measure known as FUSE. FUSE computes the similarity between two short texts based on weighted syntactic and semantic components in order to address the issue of comparing fuzzy words that exist in different word categories. A series of empirical experiments investigates the effect of introducing a fuzzy influence factor into FUSE across a number of short text datasets. Comparisons with other similarity measures demonstrates that the fuzzy influence factor has a positive effect in improving the correlation of machine similarity judgments with similarity judgments of humans.","PeriodicalId":151289,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133939273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, it has been observed that distributed and cloud-based architectures of various intelligent systems are pouring intensifying attention. While the distributed architectures can potentially add values in developing fuzzy systems, a lack of standard methods and practices may limit their public use. This study aims to provide a standard solution for developing cloud-based service-oriented architectures for fuzzy logic systems, based on extending IEEE-1855 (2016) in the defining system and exchanging data. In spite of an unquestionable appeal of e-mobility, forklifts accumulators undergo a gradual degradation, which has to be suitably maintained. Thus, an appropriate work scheduling and human operator skills are crucial for their remaining useful life control. The paper proposes a comprehensive practical solution, which can be used for settling the above problem. It starts with shaping an appropriate IoT infrastructure located on a designed shopfloor. Using the above infrastructure, a strategy for an identification of Takagi-Sugeno operator model is proposed. Subsequently, a tool for assessing a forklift's accumulator remaining useful life is introduced and integrated with the operator model. These constitute a core component for the final scheduling framework, which can tolerate inevitable delays caused by human operators. All these factor contribute towards the remaining useful life control of the cooperating forklifts accumulators. Finally, the performance of the proposed strategy is verified using selected simulation scenarios involving forklift-based transportation tasks.","PeriodicalId":151289,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130383023","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
