Gbore","doi":"10.29136/mediterranean.809370","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29136/mediterranean.809370","url":null,"abstract":"The study investigated the ameliorative effect of vitamin E on testicular parameters, semen characteristics and sperm morphology of mature cocks fed Fumonisin B 1 (FB 1 ) contaminated diets. Twenty four weeks old 160 cocks were used for the 16 weeks experiment. The cocks were assigned to eight experimental diets, six diets contained varying inclusion levels of FB 1 with and without the inclusion of vitamin E. Diets 2, 3, and 4 contained 10, 20, and 30 mg kg -1 FB 1 respectively without vitamin E while Diets 6, 7, and 8 contained 10, 20, and 30 mg kg -1 FB 1 respectively with 200 mg kg -1 vitamin E each. Diet 1 was the control without vitamin E while Diet 5 was the control with vitamin E. Each group was replicated four times with five cocks per replicate in a completely randomized design. There were significant ( P <0.05) reductions in the left, right, and paired testicular weights and volumes as well as the paired epididymal weight of the cocks fed diets contaminated with varying levels of FB 1 while the testicular densities were not significantly ( P >0.05) influenced. The ejaculate volume, sperm motility, total sperm cells, total motile cells, mass activity, and total live cells of the cocks fed varying levels of FB 1 were equally significantly ( P <0.05) reduced. However, significant ( P <0.05) increases were observed in the secondary sperm morphological abnormalities such as curved tails, headless tails, and rudimentary tails. Inclusion of vitamin E in the diets significantly ( P <0.05) improved the affected parameters, especially, among the cocks fed 10 mg FB 1 /kg diet. In order to monitor these damages, it is aimed to determine the potential of farm animal waste that can be obtained from cattle and chickens for the study area with concrete and up-to-date data and to draw attention to the pollution risks of livestock manure which is often neglected. Research topics are as; Belpınar Village continuous farmland (A), Belpınar Village from farmland converted to forestland (B), Binbaşıoğlu Village continuous farmland (C), Binbaşıoğlu Village continuous grassland (D), Binbaşıoğlu Village continuous forestland (E) and Binbasioglu Village from forestland convert to farmland (F). Soil erodibility, texture, very fine sand, coarse material, aggregate stability, bulk density, dispersion ratio, hydraulic conductivity, lime content, pH, EC and organic matter of soils were evaluated. Dispersion ratios were below 15% and were evaluated as resist to erosion. Similarly, the soil erodibility values of research subjects have been identified low-medium erodible soils. Lack of sufficient vegetation in continuous pasture and forestlands has been effective in insufficient organic matter content and aggregate stability of soils. PE sera koşullarına yapılan çalışmada parsel büyüklüğü 20 m olup, bir adet kimyasal gübreleme (KG) ile 4 farklı vermikompost (0, 100, 200 ve 400 kg da) ve 2 farklı dozda ticari mikrobiyal gübre (Mve M+) dozu 3 tekerrürlü olmak üzere tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre uygulanmıştır. Mikrobiyal gübre uygulaması tohuma uygulama ve dikim sonrası olarak iki defada yapılmıştır. Hasat edilen bitkilerde verim, bitki gelişimi ve kalitesini belirlemek için, ortalama baş ağırlığı (g bitki), toplam verim (kg m), baş boyu (cm), baş çapı (cm), baş yaş ağırlığı (g), baş kuru ağırlığı (g), yaprak rengi (L, a, b, croma, hue), pH, suda çözünebilir kuru madde (SÇKM) (%), askorbik asit (Vitamin C) miktarı (mg 100 g) ve nitrat içeriği (mg kg) ölçülmüştür. Deneme sonuçlarına göre, 400 kg da vermikompost ve mikrobiyal gübre uygulamasının kimyasal gübreleme ile aynı şekilde bitki gelişimi oluşturduğu ve elde edilen bitkilerin renk ve diğer kalite kriterleri bakımın daha iyi olduğu, insan sağlığı açısından risk oluşturan nitrat birikimin ise kimyasal gübrelemeye göre önemli ölçüde azaldığı saptanmıştır. Bu amaçla 85°C’de su banyosunda, ultrasonik banyoda (<40°C, 0.031 W mL Akustik Güç Yoğunluğu) ve problu ultrases sisteminde (<40°C, 1.337 W mL Akustik Güç Yoğunluğu) uygulamalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulama sürecinde 5, 10, 15 ve 20 dk zaman aralıkları ile örnekleme yapılmış ve örneklerde pH, iletkenlik, renk, bulanıklık ve toplam fenolik madde içeriği analizleri yapılmıştır. Adaçayı (1.3 °Bx) ekstraktlarının pH, iletkenlik ve toplam fenolik madde içerikleri sırasıyla 5.66-5.73, 1.61-1.63 ms cm ve 2.58-2.71 g L GAE arasında belirlenirken, hibiskus ekstraktlarında bu değerler sırasıyla 2.28-2.41, 4.05-4.16 ms cm ve 0.80-0.84 g L GAE arasında değişim göstermiştir. Uygulamaların genel olarak bulanıklık değeri dışında önemli bir değişime neden olmadığı gözlenmiştir. Problu ultrases sistemi ile 20 dakikalık uygulamadan sonra adaçayı ekstraktlarında bulanıklık değeri 117 NTU'dan 230 NTU'ya yükselirken, bu değer hibiskus ekstraktlarında 58.95 NTU'dan 153.6 NTU'ya yükselmiştir. Even if the barley is thought to be a partially salt-tolerant plant, it may be severely affected when exposed to salinity at initial developmental periods. Pre-treatment and preparation of seeds before sowing have an important in agriculture. Nano-seed priming treatment is a new approach used to increase germination, emergence and seedling growth recently. In this study, the effects of nano-TiO2 (0, 100, 200 mg L n-TiO2) pre-application and ongoing/combination application under salinity (0, 100, 200, 300 mM NaCl) on germination and early seedling growth of barley plants were investigated. Root lengths (RL, mm), germination rates (GR, %), radicle emerging (RE, %), number of coleoptiles (CN) were measured depending on the day (1, 2, 3 days). At the end of the third day, seedling fresh and dry weights (FW,DW mg) were measured. The relative growth index (RGI) of root and mean germination time (MGT) were calculated. It was determined that the application of 100 mg L n-TiO2 increased root length and RGI compared to control groups. It was observed that the application of 100 mg L n-TiO2 significantly increased the germination percentage, biomass and root length especially in 100 mM salt conditions. Also, 100 mg L n-TiO2 increased the RE too in 100 mM salt conditions (1st day).
