In Pungali union, Faridpur Upazila, Pabna district, 95 dairy farmers were randomly chosen to participate in the study. In order to gather data from the respondents in May 2022, a pre-tested interview schedule was implemented. The study's independent variables were nine specifically chosen characteristics of the respondents, whereas the dependent variable was the effects of COVID-19 on the livelihoods of dairy farmers. The interview survey revealed that the highest proportion (91.6 percent) of the respondents explained that covid-19 significantly affected dairy farmers' livelihoods. In comparison, 8.4 percent of farmers explained that covid-19 did not affect dairy farmers' livelihoods. Among selected characteristics of the respondents, viz., the problem faced in the covid-19 situation and contact with communication media significantly contributed significantly to their covid-19 effects on dairy farmers' livelihoods. Therefore, to lessen the consequences of COVID-19 on the livelihoods of dairy farmers, policymakers should take these critical issues into account. \u0000

The purpose is to learn about the current state of such bias and whether and to what extent women civil servants are impacted by it, as well as its consequences in terms of career growth. For this study, the researcher employed qualitative methodologies, relying mainly on primary data acquired through a questionnaire survey of 111 civil servants. Results demonstrate that in the civil service, women are subjected to a greater degree of gender bias than males, followed by the third gender. It also shows that social attitudes and lack of child care facilities are two of the key reasons for such bias and gender stereotyping, underrepresentation of women, the existing gender gap, insufficient paid maternity leaves, biased rules, and a lack of awareness might be regarded as minor sources of gender bias in this sector. Gender bias has a significant impact on postings, leadership positions, major project assignments, and challenging roles, as well as a moderate impact on other variables such as promotion, recognition for equal work, performance review, obtaining mentors and training opportunities, compensation and awards, recommendations, and recruiting, according to the data.

A total of 225 civil servants from ten different cadres responded to the survey on fourteen different aspects of the job. An additional response was also taken to evaluate overall job satisfaction. The result of the study reveals that the newly recruited civil servants of Bangladesh are dissatisfied with eight different aspects of the job (salary, promotion policy, posting place, transfer policy, training facilities, foreign tour facilities, recognition for good work and participation in decision making). On the other hand, respondents are satisfied with the other six different aspects of the job (job security, job status, working environment, relation with boss, relation with colleagues and autonomy in work). But considering everything in account overall they are satisfied with their job. Cronbach's Alpha test for data reliability shows that the data are reliable having Cronbach's Alpha value of .830 whereas the normal Q-Q Plot of variables reveals that all the independent variables of job satisfaction are normally distributed. For Pearson Correlation, there exists a significant and positive correlation between job satisfaction and all the independent variables. The current study suggests that further studies are to be carried out to investigate the causes of job dissatisfaction in different aspects and to identify which aspects of the job contribute most to the job satisfaction of civil servants. \u0000 \u0000

Women’s role is changing from unpaid family workers to farm managers, a phenomenon termed as “feminization of agriculture” in absence of males. In order to determine the involvement of women in agricultural activities, secondary data from a representative sample survey in 62 villages conducted by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics from 2000 to 2022 was used in conjunction with primary data from the Bangladeshi districts of Dinajpur, Cumilla, and Moulvibazar. The results show that 71% of women engaged in agricultural activities in 2022, an increase of about 11% from 2000. The participation was restricted to mostly crop farming, livestock and poultry rearing which is a marginal economic activity with the allocation of only about 1.5 hours of labor per day. Only 22% of the female workers participated in crop farming in 2022, compared to 45% of men. Only about 5% of the women participated in the agricultural labor market in 2000 and 2022. Women’s participation in the agricultural labor market remains insignificant at 3.07% of agricultural workers. A regression analysis shows that women’s engagement in agriculture is negatively related to land holding, different age gap, education of household members and wage rate, on the other hand, favorable way with the women's ages, the number of their homes that are irrigated, their membership in NGOs, the village's isolation, and the wage rate for agriculture in the community.

Thus online schooling has gained popularity and itspractice has increased amazingly. The coronavirus situation not only made online education more crucial and urgent, but also gave scope fora thorough discussion on the subject. The purpose of this study is to knowwhich one is more effective between online schooling and offlineschooling and also to learn the limitation of these two schooling systems. A total of 56 students of K.M.Latif Institutions, Mathbaria in class x(section “A”) were attending a mathematical class where 28 of them were in the classroom with the teacher and 28 of them were attended online using the Zoom apps facility at the same time as requested. After one hour of class, a test was held between two groups. According to the study's findings, both offline and online schooling methods are effective under different circumstances. The study has found that despite somelimitations online schooling method is preferable at least in pandemic or emergency situations. But both schooling systems have advantages and disadvantages of their own. And it is also predicted that in the age of 4th IR, we cannot deny the blessing of technology. Thus online schoolin method has become increasingly popular in recent days. \u0000

The State has made strategies for private sector participation and releasing marginal areas for energy production to diversify the electricity supply. To utilize these policies, the government designs large-scale renewable energy projects. Even though these projects are seen to be environmentally sound, they can hamper a community’s welfare if the result of the development is not reached the root level. Although solar energy is among the greenest forms of energy, not all societies can embrace it, as social, environmental and economic sustainability are the three factors that constitute total sustainability. This paper aims to qualitatively analyze the socio-economic prospects in the development of the large-scale solar park. It does a critical case study of a solar park of 10 megawatts (MW) capacity constructed on 40 acres of land in Tetulia of Panchagarh District. This structure began producing electricity in May 2019, which was added to the national grid. The research demonstrates how the advantages of renewable energy accumulate at the national and organizational level, and local communities face adverse effects. The paper recommends how social sustainability in such developments might be ensured in the future.

This haphazard and illegitimate use of antibiotics is responsible for antibiotic resistance and residual problem in eggs and poultry meat. However, data on antibiotic consumption by layer birds and farmers' perspectives are shockingly rare in Bangladesh. In order to understand farmers' perceptions and antibiotic usage in Bangladesh's small-scale layer farms, this study was performed. The research has been completed through a quantitative approach. A questionnaire survey with 20 small-scale layer farms was performed in Kamarkhanda Upazila of Sirajganj district, Bangladesh. Data has been collected and examined on farmers’ educational status, farm management, egg management, antibiotic usage and factors responsible for it. We found that 95% of farmers do not follow the drug withdrawal period though 75% of farmers had some idea about drug residue in meat and egg. 70%-layer farms are involved in antibiotic usage, not only therapeutic but also prophylaxis and egg production enhancement. Eight different types of antibiotics of six classes are randomly used without proper justification that can pose resistance and residual problem. Any of the farmers need to practise cleaning and disinfection of egg trays. It is a sign of poor management. Monitoring of antibiotic use and residue, application of proper biosecurity in farms, application of rules and legislation, and penalization for illegal practices should be implicated in Bangladesh to control antibiotic resistance and residue.

Every year, to reduce poverty and hardship among the populace, the Bangladeshi government affords a huge amount of money from the national budget. These include establishing temporary jobs for men and women of working age, providing income stability for the elderly, widows, and people with disabilities, and promoting the growth of young mothers and children. Safety net initiatives are being implemented in an increasing number of nations, and they help tackle economic inequality and protect the condition of the lowest income groups. The research was conducted with a mixed-methodology approach that combines qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The researcher used a questionnaire to gather information from a practical sample of 60 individuals of Kadirpur union, Shibchar Upazila who are getting old allowance and widow allowance. From this research, it is clear that the beneficiaries who get old allowance spend their money on buying medicine and those who get widow allowance spend most of the money on child education. Most of the beneficiaries stated this opinion that the amount of money is insufficient for them, and the fund should be increased. Inadequate funding, duplication, unauthorized political influence and coverage gaps must all be addressed. They also share their feelings that, in selecting the recipient, nepotism should be avoided and should give priority to those who truly deserve it.

It has recently replaced in-person social interactions and communication. Most modern organizations provide their employees with affordable Internet connections by PC, laptop, and some other mobile devices, allowing them quick access to personal and professional social networking sites from both home and work. There are many advantages to using social networking sites at work, but there are also some negatives. An organizational policy on the use of social networking sites while on the job is a powerful management tool. This research aims to learn more about how employees are utilizing social media at work as well as the effects of this behaviour. The research hopes to help organizations implement policies that are mutually agreeable to employees and management. A total of 60 people from a variety of occupations participated in the survey. This process has become quite common in most industrialised nations. As Bangladesh is on its journey towards becoming a developed nation, a similar outsourcing initiative is visible in different government offices.
