An ED approach for the design of WPT systems is outlined. This ED approach is a universal tool, since from a single point of view it allows the analysis and optimization of WPT systems based on various methods of power transfer. The results of modeling WPT systems with an inductive method of power transfer and comparing them with theoretical and experimental data of other authors have shown the reliability and universality of the proposed ED approach and the mathematical model (MM) of the WPT system developed on its basis.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122684910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Domain wall pinning is the critical amplitude of the magnetic video-pulse below which the domain wall fixed. For its assessment, two alternative NMR methods were chosen. In the first case, the pinning of domain wall was measured by the action of magnetic video-pulse on a two-pulse echo signal, and in the second one, the pinning was measured at the combined action of magnetic video-pulse and radiofrequency pulses on the nuclear spin system in domain wall during the process of formation a single-pulse echo, by means of generation of the so-called magnetic echo signal.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124462209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently many researchers from different fields are collaborating to find an optimum cure. One of the treatment methods involves the use of Magnetic Nanoparticles Hyperthermia (MNPH). This involves the insertion of Magnetic Nanoparticles (MNPs) at cancerous tumors locations and using an external current carrying coil to apply an alternating magnetic field (AMF) that would activate the MNPs located inside the tumor tissues. In return, the activation of the MNPs would result in concentrated heat at tumor locations, which can be intense enough to destroy tumor tissues. Alternating magnetic fields means also the introduction of electric field, which results in eddy currents at surrounding healthy tissues. The resulted eddy currents produce unwanted heat and damage the surrounding healthy tissues especially when high currents (up to several hundred Amps) is used to deliver the required AMF intensity for deep tissues tumors. This paper presents a full computational and graphical electromagnetic study of a real human model. Specific absorption rates (SARs) are computed and presented across different tissues in the body with different coil configurations. The optimum coil configuration with the maximum AMF at the pancreatic tumor injected MNPs and minimum eddy currents on surrounding healthy tissues was deduced.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126986684","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Stepped-impedance transmission line segments (SILS) with the required arrangement of resonant frequencies are synthesized to solve this problem. These SILS have the minimum value of parameter m = Z0max/Z0min, which is defined as the optimal criterion. The method of parametric synthesis was used for optimization. Two ends of the SILS are short-circuited. A short-circuited stub of short length is connected to the middle of the synthesized SILS. As result, a new dual-mode dual-band filter with enhanced functionality is obtained. This filter allows us to change the relative position of two passbands over a wide range. This filter can also significantly increase the operating frequencies. The data of measurements of the microstrip filter prototype are presented.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134110411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is assumed, that the filling of waveguide is multiperiodically modulated in space and time, and the modulation depths are small. By this the modulation of the waveguide filling does not lead to the interaction between different waveguide modes. The wave equations for the longitudinal components of the electric and magnetic vectors are obtained based on the system of Maxwell's equations. They describe the waveguide's transverse-electric (TE) and transverse-magnetic (TM) fields. These wave equations are partial differential equations of second order with periodic coefficients. Using change of variables, they are reduced to ordinary differential equations with periodic coefficients of the Mathieu-Hill type. Under the assumption of small modulation depths of the waveguide filling solutions of these equations are found in the first approximation with respect to the modulation depths in the frequency domain of the “weak” interaction between the signal wave and the modulation wave, when the first-order Wulff-Bragg condition between the waves, reflected from the filling inhomogeneities, is not satisfied. The analytical expressions, obtained in this article for the TE and TM fields, show that in the first approximation in terms of small modulation depths the TE and TM fields are given as a set of three space-time harmonics with specified complex amplitudes and frequencies.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134030687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
