Abstract

Solutions of a three-dimensional dynamic problem for the displacement wave field initiated by a given time-harmonic displacement of opposite surfaces of a plane circular crack are constructed. The solutions are given in the form of integral representations using the classical Helmholtz potentials. For the case of the axial shear crack, the influence of the frequency of the defect surfaces displacements and the angular coordinate of the observation point on the redistribution of the parameters of the displacement wave field in the solid is investigated.
