This source generates TE-wave in free space. As an example the radiation of the plane disk with uniform distribution of current with steplike time dependence is considered. Using Riemann function and separation of variables methods the general solutions for the incident, transmitted, and reflected waves are obtained. Application of boundary conditions permits to derive analytically coefficients of modal expansion of field in the form similar to the Fresnel formulas. Generalization of the obtained expressions for arbitrary time dependence of source can be made by Duhamel integral.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128929024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The total electromagnetic (EM) field is presented in terms of Debay potentials when the generalized method of eigenoscillations (GMEO) is used; the explicit formulas for electrical component of the EM field are derived when the asymptotic approach is used; and the numerical scheme of the second order of exactness is used for determination of the components of EM field when the finite-domain time-domain (FDTD) method is involved. The recipes how to calculate the radiations characteristics of nanoparticles are presented. The effectiveness of methods is demonstrated at the different stages of solving the existing diffraction problems. The computational data confirm the ability of the proposed methods to solve the diffraction problems with a high degree of accuracy.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121481539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The radar irradiates the ground by the short Gaussian electromagnetic impulse. The waves reflected from the models of ground and objects hidden in it are receiving by the system of four antennas. The 1Tx and 4Rx antenna system is used in this work. Electromagnetic wave radiation and propagation through the investigated volume is simulated by FDTD method. Obtained time dependences of electromagnetic field in four points of receiving are used as input data for the artificial neural networks. Four different neural networks simultaneously are making predictions of underground object presence, its type and position. Their answers on a number of testing cases serves as input data for the supreme neural network which is trained to make a final decision of classification result based on the history of the predictions of the four artificial neural networks. This system of classification is tested on noisy input data for different signal-to-noise ratios and on new object positions.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130569324","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Stepped-impedance transmission line segments (SILS) with the required arrangement of resonant frequencies are synthesized for this. Two ends of the SILS are open-circuited. To the middle of the synthesized SILS an open-circuited stub is connected. The method of parametric synthesis of SILS was used, which provides the required arrangement of resonant frequencies at the minimum value of the parameter $boldsymbol{m}=boldsymbol{Z}_{boldsymbol{0max}}/boldsymbol{Z}_{boldsymbol{0min}}$. As result, the new dual-mode T-shaped filter with increased stopband and reduced dimensions is obtained. A new effect is observed in the synthesized filter. It contains both dual-mode and simple oscillations, which alternate with each other. The measurement data and EM simulation of an experimental microstrip filter are presented.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123719004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
