The technology requires a high temperature (190 °C), which is why electric heating and various types of oils are used. An analysis of the processes and equipment has been made. Solutions to reduce heat loss have been proposed. This reduces electricity consumption and the price of the product. The annual savings and the payback period for the additional investments have been assessed.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125197021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The regulation of displacement volume of the pump is carried out by means of an electro-hydraulic proportional valve, in parallel to which a conventional hydraulic pressure controller is connected. The control of the proportional valve is realized by a selective electronic amplifier. Unlike conventional systems with this type of pump control, this electronic amplifier receive a reference that is formed by an industrial controller with an embedded control algorithm. This makes it possible to implement advanced control techniques for control the basic energy parameters in hydraulic drives - pressure and flow. Presented experimental results show the operational capacity of the developed system.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128764433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Where is All the Water? project is a multi-disciplinary research collaboration that has shown for the first time that low-cost sensor networks in combination with other technologies can respond to the Australian infrastructure problem of great distances and low population. It demonstrated that local gravity measurements - soon likely to be augmented with quantum sensing capability - are a technology that can help us map the underground and assist with quantifying recharge to the groundwater; and that satellites have an important role to play in the management of resources. Overall, large uncertainties are identified in water accounting, with the interaction between surface and groundwater being one of the major sources of uncertainty. Thus, innovative solutions to quantify the fluxes between above and below ground remains a priority.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121412253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the case under consideration is to provide technical measures to improve the energy efficiency of the building, according to the technical specification and current regulations. Public educational buildings are mainly used during daylight hours, where solar power will be used for own consumption. Analysis of the energy usage for public building is made and an estimation on a daily basis shows optimal requirements for such systems. Achieved results could be used in the design process of public buildings autonomous electric power supply systems, zero energy building and near zero energy building concepts.","PeriodicalId":150282,"journal":{"name":"2022 22nd International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies (SIELA)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127974355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is based on the direct application of the Least Square Method (LSM), by processing of only a short sequence of experimental data obtained at the beginning of the transient exponential process investigation. It has been shown how to complete the experiment at its initial stage with acceptable result. This can reduce significantly both the experimental time and energy resources. The developed software can help the user to manage and stop the experiment.
