Forecasting Electricity Consumption in a National Power System

Abstract

A model of a system for forecasting electricity consumption in a national power system is presented in this paper. Its goal is multi-factor forecasting based on forecast data on significant factors, which are obtained by automated testing of different methods and selection of the method with the least error. The model is experimented with forecasting electricity consumption in Bulgaria.
