We execute some jobs in the mobile device itself, cloud, or fog server in remote areas with more computing capability through the internet. Many researchers focus on minimizing mobile energy consumption by profiling the jobs, choosing the right combination of mobile-cloud execution. Little researchers focus on scheduling the job execution. In contrast, this execution schedule determines overall energy consumption and execution time of all mobile devices in a group of offloading, such as healthcare and security systems. Here, we propose a scheduled data transfer and job execution to minimize energy consumption and offloading time. Also, the scheduled offloading is compared to unscheduled ones in a cloud-edge platform. We get a significant time efficiency of 54 percent and -0,32 percent efficiency of energy from the simulation.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131589974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The recommendation system can be applied in various fields, one of which is tourism. By utilizing a recommendation system, tourism can introduce and promote its tourism to the wider community. In the recommendation system, several methods are used to support how the system works in producing information. This paper’s uses the Hybrid (Collaborative Filtering & Content-Based Filtering) method and the Nearest Neighbor (NN) algorithm. This method has a weakness when an item does not have a rating at all. Therefore, it needs a method that can overcome the weaknesses of the method. We implement a hybrid method, which combines several methods in the recommendation system to produce recommendation items under the user’s wishes. In addition, this system will use Whatsapp Messenger as a promotional medium. This paper aims to propose a recommendation system that will help several historical tours become the foremost destinations when visiting Palembang. The result of developing this recommendation system is a website that can recommend tours desired by users.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121968857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Goods used or resulting from a criminal act will be confiscated and then confiscated by the state. As a result of goods obtained as a result of a criminal act, said goods are to be auctioned off. According to the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 27 / PMK.06 / 2016 regarding auction implementation instructions, an auction is an open sale of goods to the public with the highest price bid in writing or orally, and it can be done online or offline. The South Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office must determine the grade of the items being auctioned. However, determining the quality to be categorized took a month. As a result, research is required to categorize the quality of the items being auctioned. The need to classify auctions, particularly motorcycles and cars, to reduce the time spent classifying and classifying vehicles. The standard condition is used to classify auction items. This grade applies to the categories of an engine, exterior, and interior car, vehicle year, letter in the form of SNTK, BPKB, and vehicle keys. The Naive Bayes method is used in this study to classify auction items at the South Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office. The accuracy value of this study is 74%, 44% precision, 50% recall, and 44% f1-score for motor vehicles and 57%, 44% precision, 50% recall, and 44% f1-score for car vehicles.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126097750","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After presenting the Cloud-RAN concepts and literature review, we show that an open Cloud-RAN network based on openBTS or OpenAirInterface in which dynamic spectrum management is performed could benefit in cost and performance for the extension of mobile broadband networks into rural areas. We also propose a performance and cost indicators model to judge the quality of a mobile phone system. Using the indicators, we conduct a comparative study of a basic Cloud-RAN network with a traditional network. To maintain economic stability in Indonesia, especially in the field of non-tax revenue, it is needed to examine how much the Spectrum Fee is paid by the operator to the government. The formula of Bandwidth Spectrum License has set by the Government through the Ministry of Communications and Informatics. To analyze the suitability of the spectrum fee values and operators revenue the writer readjusts the value of normalization factor (K) where this value is given by 4 options which are 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% of the K values obtained. As a result, The calculation of Spectrum Fee using 100% of K factor resulting Rp. 1,6 Trillion for the mid-band, while for the high-band resulting Rp. 6,4 Trillion. Spectrum fee is reduced in proportion to the decrease in the K Factor used. so that the K factor of 25% resulting Rp. 400 Billion for the mid-band, while for the high-band resulting Rp. 1,6 Trillion. In general, the use of high-band results in higher spectrum fees, this is due to the use of bandwidth that is 4 times higher than the mid-band and the higher K factor value.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122557756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Augmented video streaming is an advanced version of video streaming, where the video is enriched with additional embedded information in video frames. These additional data aim to provide a better user experience. Using QR code is one of the efficient approaches to incorporate information into video streams in this context. However, receiving the data in the embedded QR code is considered a challenging task owing to video quality and view angles. This paper proposes a lightweight two-stage QR code decoder for augmented video streaming using deep learning technologies. In the first stage, the position of the embedded QR code is detected using an online object detection algorithm. In the second stage, the detected region of the QR code is fed into a QR code reader to extract the embedded data. The experimental results show that the proposed decoder achieves high performances in terms of response time and decoding accuracy while being very lightweight, which is promising to be implemented in smartphones.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"18 7","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131892928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this research, equalization used Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE). The performance of this research was measured by the parameters of comparing the ratio of signal strength to noise (SNR) to bit error rate (BER) and channel capacity. The results of this research resulted in BER value obtained in GFDM QAM without MMSE in SNR 0 dB obtained a BER value of 0.413. Then at the SNR value of 25 dB get a value of 0.1645. Meanwhile, in GFDM system with MMSE in SNR 0 dB get BER value of 0.4799. Then, on SNR 25 dB get a BER value of 0.0184. GFDM QAM system with MMSE produces better value than GFDM QAM system without MMSE. In roll-off factor system testing when SNR 25 dB on roll-off factor 1 has a BER value of 0.5009, for roll-off factor 0.5 has a BER value of 0.02417.
