It divides the subscribers into some market segments that reflects the same needs and capabilities. The primary data of 999,399 subscribers are processed following the steps of RFM method. The results show that about two-third of the subscribers is in the segments reflecting a lower Monetary value, while one-third is having higher Monetary value; in which the values correspondent to the subscribers’ ARPU. However the subscribers are also having various purchasing behavior, reflected by Recency and Frequency values. The results can be utilized to assist 4G operator companies on developing advanced strategies to retain customers and increase the ARPU.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"314 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127189796","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Several studies have been done on this topic with a focus on 2d-Convolutional Neural Network (2d-CNN) to detect spatial features from each frame, followed by one of the Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) variants as a temporal features learning method. On the other hand, the transformer network has achieved a great result in many areas. The bottleneck for transformers is the need for large data set to achieve good results. In this work, we propose a data-efficient video transformer (DeVTr) based on the transformer network as a Spatio-temporal learning method with a pre-trained 2d-Convolutional neural network (2d-CNN) as an embedding layer for the input data. The model has been trained and tested on the Real-life violence dataset (RLVS) and achieved an accuracy of 96.25%. A comparison of the result for the suggested method with previous techniques illustrated that the suggested method provides the best result among all the other studies for violence event detection.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"248 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116070681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper discusses the development of narrowband bandpass filter (BPF) made of SIW structure for 5 GHz band wireless communication application. The proposed filter is designed on a Duroid 5880 dielectric substrate with the thickness of 1.575 mm and the total dimension of 36.5 mm (length) by 19 mm (width). The characterization is conducted by simulation software to investigate and analyze the effect of different parameters of SIW BPF to the output response. Meanwhile, parametric studies as part of characterization process are applied upon the proposed filter to obtain the optimum design of filter architecture. The results of characterization show that the proposed narrowband SIW BPF with the input/output impedances of 50 Ω has the bandwidth characteristic of 84 MHz in the frequency range of 5.827 GHz to 5.911 GHz with a good frequency selectivity suitable for the desired application.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"173 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116133852","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, to achieve optimum results, it is essential to select wisely the Transmission mode of the D2D Device to form clusters in the most advantageous positions in terms of Sum Rate and Power Consumption. Towards this end, this paper investigates the use of Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI) and innovative D2D, Machine Learning (ML) approaches (i.e., DAIS, FuzzyART, DBSCAN and MEC) to achieve satisfactory results in terms of Spectral Efficiency (SE), Power Consumption (PC) and execution time, with the creation of clusters and back-hauling links in D2D network under existing Base Station. Additionally, this paper focuses on a small number of Devices (i.e., <=200), targeting the identification of the limits of each approach in terms of the low number of devices. More specifically, we investigate when an operator must consider implementing a D2D network (that requires extra complexity), therefore when the cluster members are sufficient enough to achieve better results than the classic mobile network. So, this research identifies where it is beneficial to form a cluster, investigate the critical point that gains increases rapidly and in the end, examine the applicability of 5G requirements. Additionally, prior work presented a Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI) Solution/Framework in D2D, and a DAIS Transmission Mode Selection (TMS) plan was proposed. In this paper, DAIS is further examined, improved in terms of thresholds evaluation (i.e., Weighted Data Rate (WDR), Battery Power Level (BPL)), evaluated, and compared with other approaches (AI/ML). The results obtained demonstrate the exceptional performance of DAIS and FuzzyART, compared to all other related approaches in terms of SE, PC, execution time and cluster formation. Also, results show that the investigated AI/ML approaches are also beneficial for Transmission Mode Selection (TMS) in 5G D2D communication, even with fewer devices (i.e., >=5 for clustering, >=50 for backhauling) as lower limits.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122306908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Good data management is the main focus of BMKG’s business activities to produce fast, precise, accurate, wide-coverage, and understandable information. A reliable and speedy Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) communication infrastructure can help analyze data and disseminate public information. To get the quality of the communication network system, the authors measure network parameters on the network infrastructure at BMKG, such as access speed and transmission capacity, from the sending point to the receiving point. The parameters used are jitter, delay (latency), packet loss and throughput. This measurement uses the Iperf/Jperf tools to measure throughput bandwidth and packet loss in a network system. This QoS parameter follows the standards set by the Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Networks (TIPHON). The results and analysis of QoS measurements show that, in general, some buildings during office hours and non-office hours show good results. To excellent results, ideally the TIPHON standard, the authors describe the proposed integrated framework, including the End-User layer, the application layer, the system layer, the investment layer and the hardware layer. The tennis ball picker robot is an implementation of a vision-based robot designed to use object tracking techniques in tracking an object by utilizing digital image processing. This process gives the robot the ability to know the motion of the tennis ball. In this research, the robot will track the position of a tennis ball which has the characteristics of color, shape and size. Pixy2 CMUcam5 image sensor use to detect the tennis ball, while to control the position of the robot uses the fuzzy logic method. Input from fuzzy logic is the x and y coordinate points of the tennis ball's position towards the robot. The output of the fuzzy logic is the speed of the motor actuator on the robot wheel to move the robot to detected tennis ball position. Infrared sensor can detect tennis ball as far as 100 cm and tennis ball position point is detected by Pixy2 CMUcam5 camera sensor at coordinates (169, 170). Given the cache server limited capacity, it is necessary to determine the priority of cached data that can enter the cache server. This study simulated cached data prioritization based on an objective function as a characteristic of problem-solving using an optimization approach. The objective function of web caching is formulated based on the variable data size, count access, and frequency-time access. Then we use the knapsack problem method to find the optimal solution. The Simulations run three swarm intelligence algorithms Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), Genetic Algorithm (GA), and Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO), divided into several scenarios. The simulation results show that the GA algorithm relatively stable and fast to convergence. The ACO algorithm has the advantage of a non-random initial solution but has followed the pheromone trail. The BPSO algorithm is the fastest, but the resulting solution quality is not as good as ACO and GA.","PeriodicalId":148136,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE International Conference on Communication, Networks and Satellite (COMNETSAT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128333759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nevertheless, developing a P4 program is challenging for those who either lacking programming skills or advanced networking. This paper proposed a visual editor to ease the development of P4-based programmable parser which is the first and fundamental step in P4 development. The editor offers two functionalities, the creation of custom protocols & protocols parser, and code generation for testing purposes. For evaluations, we run a compatibility test to ensure that P4-switch can parse any packet using bit-by-bit extraction defined by the programmable parser. We develop custom protocols having the same bit structure as the standard protocols, such as Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, and MPLS, but use different naming. The result showed that the receiver recognized the custom protocols as the standard ones since the P4-switch treat them based on their bit structure.
