There were 11 Islamic boarding schools in Riau Province that were chosen to be examined, they included: Al-Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru, Al-Kausar Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru, Dar El-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru, Al-Muslimun Islamic Boarding School Pangkalan Kerinci, Hidayatul Ma’rifah Islamic Boarding School Pelalawan, Daarun Nahdhah Islamic Boarding School Bangkinang, Anshar As-Sunnah Islamic Boarding School, Ad-Dar Al-Salafiyah Al-Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School, Sabil Al-Salam Islamic Boarding School, Al-Badr Islamic Boarding School, and Al-Taufik Islamic Boarding School Kampar. Problems such as the appearance of unsatisfying results from the alumni of certain Islamic boarding schools regarding to their knowledge about the Tafsir Book is the reason that this subject is interesting to be examined. The data obtained for this study were collected through interviews with related parties, observation and documentation. Subsequently, the data were presented in accordance to the existed information within the field and followed by analyzing them which corresponded with the proposed main problems. After being examined, there are factors found as the obstacles in learning the Tafsir Book. The number of samples taken was taken 10%, namely 40 people using random sampling techniques. The method used is descriptive method that is making a systematic, factual and accurate descriptive of facts and the relationship between the phenomena investigated, with the aim of testing hypotheses that state whether or not there is a relationship between independent variables (X1) and (X2) with dependent variables (Y). Referring to the results of the regression test and correlation, then there is the influence of the contextual learning method on PAI towards strengthening prayer motivation. There is the influence of the contextual learning method on PAI towards strengthening the character of students. There is the influence of contextual learning methods on Islamic Education Educator on strengthening prayer motivation and strengthening the character of students. In semantics, the study tells about how polite language used to communicate with other people in the real context. In pragmatics, the study tells about how polite language used to communicate with older and younger people based on the situation. There were some words and expressions can be used and can be not used to communicate with other people. One way to teach semantics and pragmatics was used ICT in the calssroom. Using ICT that input islamic value can develop the students’ character indirectly. Like the Jam’iyyah al-Qurra’ wa al-Huffazh (JQH) Al-Furqan of Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Salatiga who developed it all through the art of the Quran. Thus, the objective to be achieved in this research is to know the character of JQH Al-Furqan member and the role of JQH Al-Furqan in shaping the character of IAIN Salatiga student. This research is a type of field research and descriptive qualitative. Sources of data in this study include primary sources and secondary sources. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of data obtained through triangulation, collected data sources are analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The key informants were the Principal of the Muhammadiyah Elementary School 01 Pekanbaru and the supporting informants were teachers, foundation administrators, students, parents, and the surrounding community. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and verification. The research findings show that female school principals have the ability to improve the quality of education by acting as administrators, supervisors, innovators and motivators. Supporting factors are: (1) friendly and gentle nature; (2) the assertiveness of women; (3) management knowledge; (4) willing to sacrifice both in terms of material and time; and (5) collective and collegial leadership. Malay manuscript is one of the nation's documents written manually using Arabic-Malay characters and in Malay. This means that the Malay manuscript is a stroke of the local genius of the nation and is an intellectual icon of the people of his day. But along with advances in technology, the Malay manuscript also experienced development through this technology by means of digitalization. In terms of methodology, this paper is a study of historical and cultural heritage involving Malay manuscript, so this study uses descriptive qualitative methods that are linked to analysis and interpretation and finally focuses on content analysis. At the end of the study it was found that in addition to the Quran and Hadith which are the sources of Islamic education studies, it turns out that the digital Malay manuscript can be used as the next source, because the Malay manuscript is a legacy of cultural heritage that is loaded with noble values of life such as social, political, religious, educational, culture, economics, language, literature and so on. Therefore, digital Malay manuscript is an ICT-based innovation that can be used as a source of study of Islamic education. Digital Malay manuscripts are very easy to obtain because in various places where Malay manuscripts have been digitalized, scientists can use them. This study uses descriptive analytic methods, which explore the concepts offered by scientists, especially by M. Amin Abdullah. This study found that applying integrative-interconnected epistemology by intertwining the three successors: Hadharat an-Nash (Text Culture and Turats), Hadharat al-'Ilm (Science Culture) and Hadharat al-Falasafah (Philosophical-Ethical Culture), which believed to be able to neutralize or at least break the ice between normative Islam and historical Islam, and also the achievements of truth that would be produced would certainly be much closer to a more comprehensive truth than if it were done with just one epistemological category. So the aims of this study is to find out and examine what education in the Nashaih al-'Ibad, the questions that will be answered through this research are: (1) how is the description of Imam Nawawi's thoughts about the values of moral education; (2) how is the relevance of the value of moral education by Imam Nawawi's thinking towards students today. To answer this question, this research using a library approach. The research method used is the type of literature, while the primary data source from the Nashaih al-‘Ibad book, and the source of the secondary from other books related to this research. The technical data analysis using inductive method and deductive method. The findings of this research indicate that the value of moral education in the Nashaih al-‘Ibad by Imam Nawawi al-Bantani is very much needed for the world of education today.
