This method was based on the formation of ion-pairs between the basic nitrogen of the CPM drug and four chromogenic reagents namely bromocresol purple (BCP), alizarine Red S (ARS), eriochrome cyanine R (ECR), and cresol red (CR). The extracted colored ion-pairs were measured spectrophotometrically at 390, 425, 503 and 408 nm for BCP, ARS, ECR and CR reagents, respectively. The different parameters that affect the color development between CPM drug and dyestuff reagents were extensively studied to determine the optimal conditions for the assay procedure. The reaction was studied as a function of the volume of reagents, nature of solvent, temperature, reaction time and stoichiometric ratio between the CPM drug and the reagents. Beer’s law was valid over the concentration ranges of 1-30, 1-10, 2-120 and 4-120 μg mL-1 of CPM drug using BCP, ARS, ECR and CR reagents, respectively. The Sandell sensitivity, molar absorptivity, limit of detection and limit of quantification were determined. Applications of the proposed procedure to the analysis of the pharmaceutical preparations, spiked humane urine and spiked blood serum gave reproducible and accurate results without any interference from excipients. The results obtained by the proposed method were in good agreement with those obtained by reported method. The method can be suggested for the routine analysis of the cited drug.","PeriodicalId":14453,"journal":{"name":"International Letters of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy","volume":"9 8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77091226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four different molarities of PbS thin films were prepared. The as-prepared films were characterized by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), EDX, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Parameters like crystallite size, lattice constant, microstrain, dislocation density were calculated. Optical constants such as extinction coefficient, absorption coefficient were measured from absorption spectra. Studies show that average nanocrystallite size increases from14.2 nm to 18.1 nm as the molarity of the film increases. Optical studies reveal the decrease of band gap from 1.75 eV to 1.44 eV with increasing molarity of the film indicating higher electrical conductivity of the films.","PeriodicalId":14453,"journal":{"name":"International Letters of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90440483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the present paper, the technology of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) synthesis is described; CNTs “Taunit”-series were obtained via chemical vapor decomposition at NanoTechCenter Ltd. (Tambov, Russia). The CNTs properties were determined by scanning electron microscopy, nitrite adsorption, laser diffraction, and thermogravimetry. The principle characteristics measured for the water-alcohol mixture were as follows: rigidity, alkalinity, oxidability, volume fraction of methyl alcohol, weight concentration of acetaldehyde, and 2-propanol and organoleptic parameters, found by using gas-chromatographic analysis. The studies performed demonstrate that the “Taunit”-series carbon nanostructured materials can be effectively used for filtering water-alcohol mixtures in the vodka production.","PeriodicalId":14453,"journal":{"name":"International Letters of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86446076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The thin films are irradiated with gamma ray from Cs-137 of energy 0.662 MeV, the irradiation time is two weeks. The optical absorption and transmission was studied by using UV-Visible spectrophotometer. The gravimetric results revealed that the inhibitor maintained good inhibition efficiency even at 120 hours of immersion. The electrochemical results showed that OG extract functioned as a mixed type corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in both 1 M HCl and 0.5 M H2SO4, inhibiting both the anodic and cathodic partial reactions via adsorption of the extract constituents on the metal/solution interface. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and surface examination results confirmed the adsorption of the extract, organic constituents on the mild steel surface. We have obtained the explicit energy eigenvalues for ground state and first excited state for interactions in one-electron atoms. Furthermore, the obtained corrections of energies are depended on infinitesimal parameters (Θ,χ) and (θ,σ) which are induced by position-position and momentum-momentum noncommutativity, respectively, in addition to the discreet atomic quantum numbers: j=l±1/2,s=±1/2,l and the angular momentum quantum number m. We have also shown that, the usual states in ordinary three dimensional spaces for ordinary vibrational-rotational structure of supersingular plus Coulomb potential are canceled and has been replaced by new degenerated 2(2l+1) sub-states in the extended new quantum symmetries of (NC: 3D-RSP).","PeriodicalId":14453,"journal":{"name":"International Letters of Chemistry, Physics and Astronomy","volume":"26 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88365832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
