Several studies are done to correlate the effect of BMI on cardiovascular risk-factors. But only few studies are done to compare the effect of obesity on cardiovascular risk-factors. Therefore, this study is to identify the effect of android & gynoid-type of obesity on CVD risk-factors.\u0000Method- Study conducted on 60 obese-adults; Age:20-45 years; BMI 25-29.9kg/m2 (Obese-class Ⅰ WHO-Asian Classification) Demographic and anthropometric data regarding WC, HC, and WHR were recorded. CVD risk-factors by ATP-III definition: High-BP, Low-HDL-C, High-triglycerides, Fasting-glucose. Thus, to observe association of CVD risk-factors between android-obesity & gynoid-obesity.\u0000Result- Result has been obtained from SPSS20. Mean-age & Mean-BMI in Android-obesity were (33.06+7.8) (27.33+1.24) and in Gynoid-obesity were (33.9+7.54) (27.26+1.15) respectively. Comparison between two groups found using independent t-tests. It is associated with excessive dryness leading to cracking of heels. Coconut oil is a versatile product with good moisturizing, nourishing and smoothing effect on skin. Petroleum jelly is a greasy gelatinous substance that has been promoted as a topical ointment for its healing and moisturizing properties. The objective of this study is to compare the effect of application of coconut oil and petroleum jelly on heel fissures among young women. \u0000Methods: Thirty young women between the age group 18 – 25 years with heel fissures were selected by non-probability purposive sampling technique. Participants were randomly divided into two groups (Group I – Coconut oil and Group II – Petroleum jelly) with 15 samples in each. Pre – test was done and Coconut oil/Petroleum jelly was applied once daily for 14 days on heel fissures, followed by post- test. Data was collected by observation using a self-prepared checklist and rating scale. The tool is found to be reliable by using inter- rater reliability (r = 1.0). \u0000Results: It is found that there is a statistically significant difference between pre–test mean score (7.67) and post-test mean score (5.33) of Group I (coconut oil) p value (0.0013). In today's day and age, children are natives to the world of Information and Technology which explains the unprecedented rise in the usage of gadgets amongst them. However, early gadget usage brings about both positive and negative impact on their development and we aim to understand and highlight these impacts. Objectives: To assess the association between the duration of gadget usage and the development of children. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 368 parents with children age 2-5 years old in Klang Valley. The UNICEF ECDI 2030 was used as the collecting instrument. Data analysis was done by using Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP) with Multiple Logistic Regression as statistical test. Results: Overall, there is a statistically significant association between the duration of gadget usage and the development of children. Diabetic foot ulcers that are not handled properly can cause damage to the foot that requires amputation. Wound care techniques for treating diabetic foot ulcers are starting to develop, one of which is ozone bagging therapy. This ozone bagging therapy in diabetic foot ulcers is reported to be useful as an anti-microbial effect, increasing glycemic control, increasing insulin sensitivity, preventing oxidative stress, increasing fibroblast proliferation, and increasing the release of growth factors. This case study will report 3 patients with Wagner II and III-foot ulcers who healed completely within 28 days using ozone bagging treatment as an adjuvant.\u0000Methods: 3 patients with diabetic foot ulcers Wagner II and III received ozone bagging therapy every 4 days for 7 sessions (a total of 28 days) as an additional therapy besides treating moist gauze using NaCl. This study used a Medical Ozone Generator. The dose of ozone used with medical oxygen is 1 lpm, flow 0.6, in the first session "high dose" with an output dose of 80-100 mg/l and in the 2nd-7th session with a low dose (25-35 mg/l). Macroscopic assessment of the wound using the Wagner scale and the progress of each treatment session is documented in photographs.\u0000Results: On macroscopic measurements, the process of wound healing leading to wound closure was better in the treatment group and was taken as a case for 3 patients who recovered completely. It resulted in 3 patients who recovered completely with a measurement of the Meggitt-Wagner scale of 0.26.\u0000Conclusion: For these recovered patients, there was a decrease in VEGF, TGF-β, and PDGF levels. The VEGF, TGF-β, and PDGF levels tested were VEGF, TGF-β, and PDGF levels in wound exudate by comparing them on the 3rd day. 1st and 12th day. Supported by macroscopic data showing that the wound healing process was better in the group that received ozone bagging therapy as an adjuvant. From this study it was found that the trend of decreasing levels of VEGF, TGF-β, and PDGF in wound exudate occurred because the inflammatory and proliferative processes in the treatment group lasted more faster than the control group.\u0000\u0000Keywords: ozone bagging therapy, diabetic ulcers, wound exudate, growth factors, VEGF, TGF-β, and PDGF, Meggitt-Wagner scale.
