Uterine fibroids are non-cancerous growths (myomas or leiomyomas) also known as Uterine Leiomyomas or Fibromyomas appear in or around the uterus. They can shrink after menopause, exist in adults of reproductive age, and have been connected to oestrogen, however the specific origin is unknown. Uterine fibroids affect about 1 in 3 women, and their prevalence rises with age until menopause, peaking in the forties. In general, symptoms can be categorized as heavy and protracted menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and reproductive dysfunction. The triple combination drug is given orally to the patients (once daily as early as possible after menstrual cycle but no later than seven days after menstrual cycle begins) and it can be given for the period of 24 months which is longer duration than its other alternatives like leuprolide (6-12 months) and it effectively resolves Abnormal Uterine Bleeding – Leiomyomata (AUB-L). It will resolve the imbalance of estrogen and progesterone in female body and reduces the side effects such as bone loss due to estrogen imbalance. Being an oral tablet gives it an advantage over other surgical procedures and parenteral dosage forms as it is non-invasive and easy to administer, in small dose, once daily. Postural hyper kyphosis is the most common posture abnormality and can happen at any age. Causes are idiopathic, sedentary lifestyle, impairments, and aging. Abnormal posture has a detrimental effect on articular and muscular structures as it leads to muscular weakness and degenerative changes. It affects the muscular tension around the neck and shoulder; as it shifts the neck forward (muscle tightness) and the shoulder moves more internally, leading the upper back scapular muscle lengthening. This study uses a flexi-curve ruler to measure postural hyper kyphosis and lateral scapula slide test(LSST) to measure scapula distance. The Blackburn protocol is often used for shoulder and scapular impairments; in this study, the protocol is used to manage postural hyper kyphosis as it targets the same muscle groups that are in an altered state. OBJECTIVE: To compare the effect of Blackburn exercise along with thoracic extension exercise versus thoracic extension exercise on postural hyper kyphosis and scapula position in young asymptomatic individuals. METHODS: A comparative study included 70 samples, age between 18 and 28, divided into 2 groups. The degree of kyphosis was measured using a flexi curve ruler (fcr), and scapula distance was measured using a lateral scapula slide test (lsst) at three positions. Intervention was given for six weeks. RESULTS: After 6 weeks of data analysis, Group A's p-value for kyphosis angle is 0.5 and lateral scapula slide test at 0 degree is 0.735, at 45 degree is 0.1992, and at 90 degree is 0.536, showing significant improvement over another group. Conclusion: Blackburn exercises, along with thoracic extension exercises, were found to be effective in reducing the angle of kyphosis in the young population. Congenital Atrichia is a rare genodermatoses is characterized by a mutation of the human hairless (HR) gene on chromosome 8p22. There is loss of scalp hair between, eyebrow, eyelash, and body hair may also be sparse or absent; patients may have a few pubic and axillary hairs. The condition may present in isolation or along with other defects. There are many forms of inherited alopecia (i.e., hair loss), which vary in age of onset, severity, and associated ectodermal abnormalities. Congenital alopecia universalis or congenital atrichia without associated ectodermal defects is a rare autosomal recessive disorder and is the only form of inherited alopecia for which the molecular basis is known. (2) Case Report: Here is a case report on a preterm neonate delivered via normal vaginal delivery in our hospital setup. Patient was on mechanical ventilator after birth. Patient gradually improved at it was noticed that there was total absence of hair on the body. Dermatology opinion was taken and after few investigations and genetic testing it was confirmed case of Congenital Atrichia due to mutation in chromosome no 8p22. Discussion: Congenital atrichia is a rare disease, causing irreversible alopecia which is inherited autosomal recessively. There is complete irreversible hair loss seen soon after birth. Situs inversus and mesocardia has also been reported to be associated with this disease. Conclusion: Congenital atrichias represent a large and heterogeneous group of inherited hair disorders. Materials and methods: The research design used for this study is Single group pretest-posttest quasi experimental design. Study was conducted in Karond and Bhanpur areas of Bhopal city, India. the duration of the data collection was four weeks. Study population were the 30 adolescents residing in Karond and Bhanpur areas of Bhopal city, India. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Consent, Ethical clearance was obtained before proceeding for the study. Results: Upon conducting a comparative analysis of the mean pre-test and post-test levels of driving anger within the experimental cohort, a noteworthy observation emerged. Specifically, a substantial mean discrepancy of 21.79 units was discerned between the pre-test and post-test measurements, coupled with a t-value of 18.08. This compellingly indicates the presence of a significant disparity in driving anger levels prior to and subsequent to the implementation of motivational therapy. Conclusion: The imperative to develop anger reduction therapies and techniques is underscored by their potential to ameliorate road rage-related issues and foster the overall well-being of humanity. In the realm of road rage reduction, it is prudent to explore techniques that promote safe and efficacious means of anger management. The individuals participating in this study exhibited diverse underlying causes for their aggressive driving tendencies, often lacking an avenue to address these issues openly. While they harbored intentions to desist from such behavior, the absence of a supportive framework hindered their progress. The present study shines a light on the significance of sustained, authentic, and resolute endeavors aimed at addressing road rage among adolescents, utilizing a structured motivational therapy approach. The outcomes of the study elucidated that the participants grappled with varying degrees of driving-induced anger. Notably, the introduction of structured motivational therapy yielded a discernible reduction in their levels of driving anger, a change substantiated through statistical analysis. Molybdenum cofactor deficiency, an inherited form of xanthinuria, causes hyperreflexia, microcephaly, and other central nervous system symptoms in newborns. Molybdenum cofactor deficiency, an inherited form of xanthinuria, causes hyperreflexia, microcephaly, and other central nervous system symptoms in newborns. The function of three different enzymes (xanthine dehydrogenase, aldehyde oxidase, and sulfite oxidase) depends on a molybdenum-containing cofactor that is congenitally defective in this disorder. CASE REPORT: A full term female baby born to a G3P1L1A1 mother via normal vaginal delivery was referred from outside hospital on day of life 10 in view of one episode of convulsion on day 3 of life. Baby was screened for inborn errors of metabolism which revealed increased excretion of Xanthine in urine. MRI of brain was done which showed extensive areas of diffusion restriction involving bilateral cerebral hemispheres, bilateral corticospinal tracts and corpus callosum suggestive of Acute hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy. DISCUSSION: Because of enzymatic deficiency, xanthine dehydrogenase cannot be converted into uric acid which leads to increase in blood levels, and urinary excretion of hypoxanthine, and xanthine. Since these substances have a lower solubility in urine, they accumulate in the urinary system leading to formation of stones. Reduced or undetectable serum uric acid levels associated with MoCD are a result of the deficiency of xanthine dehydrogenase. Most of the patients with classical xanthinuria are asymptomatic, and in 30% of the cases urolithiasis develops. CONCLUSION: Refractory seizures, encephalopathy, and the absence of radiologic signs of HIE a positive family history of perinatal asphyxia, and refractory seizures are contributors in newborn fatalities that demonstrate a significant tendency to develop xanthinuria. Plantar fasciitis is a degenerative syndrome of the plantar fascia caused by recurrent trauma to the calcaneus. The plantar fascia is a thick, multilayered fibrous connective tissue on the sole of the foot that aids in the creation of the longitudinal arch of the foot. It dynamically stabilises the medial longitudinal arch, restores the arch and helps in reconfiguration of the foot for efficient toe-off. Also, it provides static support to the longitudinal arch as well as dynamic shock absorption. The characteristic PF discomfort is localised around the medial tubercle of the calcaneus and arises after the first few steps in the morning or after a lengthy period of non-weight bearing activities.
