In this context, the investigation focused on Butonese ethnic. Thus, this research employs ethnography research method. In attempt to gain the data, triangulations data collection techniques are employed including observation, FGD, and interview. The results reflected perceptions of Butonese Women from two different walk of life. In this case, the participants include housewives and career women. Butonese women proposed two different perspectives towards women empowerment. The first perspective is women empowerment considered as a radical resistance. The integration of local history into learning curriculums is one method to achieve this strengthening of identity. This research aims to examine how the integration of local history can reinforce identity. The study employs a literature review approach, gathering data and information from various sources, including books, articles, and journals. The collected data encompasses theories on identity, previous research on local history integration, and practices of local history integration. The findings indicate that integrating local history strengthens identity in three ways: (1) developing a sense of belonging and connection with the community, (2) enhancing understanding of cultural roots, and (3) developing critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. The method used in this study employs a literature review with specific steps. The findings of this research indicate that the downfall of the Ottoman Empire is the result of complex dynamics, involving the roles of intellectuals, government policies, the paradox of reforms, poor political language, and the influence of the Young Turks movement. From the era of Mahmud II to the collapse of the absolute rule of the Sultan, the shift in the foundational values of the state from Islam to nationalist identity reflects the challenges of a transformation that was not always successful. The incompatibility between reformists and the majority of the Muslim population, particularly in the political communication of the Sultan, becomes a key factor complicating the achievement of consensus. This research provides profound insights into the complexity of the history of the Ottoman Empire, emphasizing the importance of comprehensively understanding social, cultural, and political aspects in analyzing the decline of an empire. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan dan dampak Revolusi Hijau terhadap kebijakan ekonomi pemerintah bidang pertanian di Kanagarian Selayo tahun 1974-1998. Penelitian ini termasuk kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian sejarah. Langkah awal dalam penelitian ini adalah heuristic, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kanagarian selayo ,merupakan daerah yang mempunyai peranana yang cukup signifikan terhadap Kabupaten Solok sebagai pensuplai beras, juga sebagai daerah yang cukup berperan dan mendukung Kabupaten Solok dalam mendapatkan julukan sebagai lumbung pangan untuk propinsi Sumatera Barat. Pada awal pelaksanaan revolusi hijau di Kanagarian Selayo melalui bimas dan inmas produksi padi menunjukkan hasil yang luar biasa, terbukti pada tahun 1983 mencapai 8,5 ton/ha dari 3,8 ton/ha pada tahun 1970. Setelah adanya kebijakan Revolusi Hijau, para petani dihadapkan pada siklus ketergantungan dan kemiskinan dan terjerat pada hutang. Asupan pertanian seperti pupuk , benih, pestisida yang sebelum revolusi hijau dikuasai oleh petani sendiri, sekarang petani terpaksa membelinya secara terus menerus. Jenis penelitian adalah jenis studi kasus.Tekhnik pemilihan informan menggunakan metode (purposive sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gosip berawal dari prasangka, isu, desas desus yang disebarkan oleh ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang suka bergosip yang dilakukan pada pagi dan sore hari di warung-warung, tempat arisan, majlis ta’lim, pada kongsi kematian, pesta pernikahan dan dirumah ibu bigos (biang gosip). Gosipan sore adalah lanjutan cerita pagi yang terputus akibat ibu-ibu rumah tangga ini harus menyelesaikan pekerjaan rumah. Yang mereka gosipkan tidak lain adalah aktifitas para tetangganya dan warga sekitar. Gosip di Perumnas Siteba menimbulkan dampak buruk pada pelaku gosip, individu yang dilibatkan dan orang yang digosipkan. Permasalahan Kedisiplinan dalam pembelajaran sejarah adalah Model pembelajaran sejarah yang cenderung konvensional yang masih kurang bisa meningkatkan disiplin siswa dalam belajar, Untuk mengatasi Permasalahan Kedisiplinan pembelajaran sejarah tersebut perlu diterapkan Model PembelajaranListening Teamguna meningkatkan disiplin Belajar pada siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajar sejarah siswa kelas XA SMAN 2 Kerinci pada materi “pengaruh Revolusi Prancis, Revolusi Amerika, dan Revolusi Rusia terhadap Perkembangan Pergerakan Nasional Indonesia dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Listening Team.Metode yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data adalah dengan menggunakan metode partisipan dimana peneliti terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan penelitian.Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan melakukan checklist observasi, kuisioner, dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X A SMAN 2 Kerinci.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan disetiap siklus.Penelitian ini menggunakan model kemmis dan taggart dengan menggunakan duasiklus.Hasil persentasi rata-rata disiplin belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan. Pada siklus I sebesar 47.87% dengan kategori sedang dan siklus II Meningkat menjadi 87.15% dengan kategori sangat baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir pantai Bale Bale Nongsa sebagai tempat wisata di Batam tahun 2016-2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pantai Bale-bale Nongsa Batam, sumber data dalam penelitian ada dua yaitu sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.
