This type of harassment is a form of gender injustice that can manifest in various forms of marginalization and subordination towards women. Women can feel restricted in their ability to express themselves freely due to the dominance of men in society. As a result, there has been an increase in the number of cases of sexual harassment of women in society. This has prompted film directors to address the issue in their works, such as the film Virgin the Series. This research aims to analyze the representation of sexual harassment towards women in this film, which is available on the Disney+Hotstar application, using the perspective of muted group theory. The theoretical framework used in this study includes the concept of representation by Stuart Hall, the concept of sexual abuse, adolescence, and women, as well as Roland Barthes's semiotic theory and the grand theory of silence (The Muted Group Theory). The researchers utilized a qualitative research method and applied Roland Barthes's semiotics approach to analyze the text and visuals in this film. The findings indicate that the film portrays various forms of sexual harassment toward women, such as physical, oral, non-verbal, gestural, visual, and psychological harassment. These depictions further strengthen the position of women as subordinates, as explained by the muted group theory","PeriodicalId":14269,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science, Technology and Society","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135647962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aging of the skin can use samples of human fibroblasts (preputium) which are induced with high glucose media and doxorubicin using cell culture methods. Aging is measured using markers at the genetic level, namely p53 and mTOR. The p53 protein is one of the most important markers of apoptosis and the mTOR protein plays an important role in the proliferation, growth, motility, survival, autophagy of cell, including the synthesis of protein. Therefore, the optimization strategy of cell aging is well suited to physiological aging conditions In this review, we explore the optimization of aging in fibroblast cell cultures induced by high-glucose media and doxorubicin and review signs of aging, namely the biomarkers p53 and mTOR. The hope to be able to know aging is close to the original condition so that it becomes an opportunity as well as a challenge for the transition of basic research into developing interventions. Several major electronic databases, including Embase, PubMed, Cochrane, and CINAHL were used to select articles from the period between February 2013 and February 2023. From 5 available literatures, we demonstrated the activity of high-glucose media and doxorubicin as induction of fibroblast senescence. High-glucose media and doxorubicin showed an aging effect by increasing p53 and mTOR markers in fibroblast cell cultures. It is hoped that, with this article on aging optimization, insights into future research directions can be achieved.","PeriodicalId":14269,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science, Technology and Society","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135592293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper delves into the potential of AI in shaping administrative law regulations. While the inherent computational abilities of AI allow for processing vast amounts of data, providing real-time insights, and predicting administrative needs, they also introduce challenges related to ethics, transparency, and accountability. By analyzing global best practices and case studies, this paper highlights the dual-edged nature of AI, where on one side, it can aid in making more informed regulatory decisions, reduce bureaucratic inefficiencies, and improve citizen engagement. On the other side, unchecked use can lead to biases, opaque decision-making, and potential encroachments on individual rights. The paper concludes by proposing a balanced approach that harnesses the potential of AI while ensuring ethical and transparent use in the realm of administrative law.","PeriodicalId":14269,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science, Technology and Society","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135195626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, every village in Banyuwangi Regency having a Village Credit Bank was included in this study. This study used descriptive qualitative research. The information was gathered using a combination of in-depth interviews, participant and non-participant observation, and document reviews. The data was examined for validity using a series of source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The institutional dynamics of community revolving funds (DBM) arising from government policies or programs. It was governed by overlapping rules from different independent bodies, which made it challenging to implement the transformation process and expensive to do so. The Village Credit Bank and the PNPM-Mandiri activity implementation unit (UPK) were eventually merged to create the Bumdesma business unit after overcoming numerous challenges. The Inter-Village Cooperation Agency (BKAD) and Bumdesma are two new organizations that were created as a result of the institutional change process but their existence does not enhance community services. The dynamics of institutional change and transformation led to disagreements over property rights, and uncertainty surrounding ownership status sparked the emergence of Free Riders who later converted BKD assets into KSPs run by a number of former managers, which in turn had an impact on the sale of BKD assets to private parties. The institutional transformation process caused BKD's institutional nature to move from private goods to common goods as a secondary bank of BRI. The oversight of Microfinance ex Village Credit Bank (BKD) is the sole aspect of Bumdesa business units that are covered in this research. This research is able to contribute a model of integrating the management of Bumdesa as a Common Resource as an effort to alleviate poverty in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":14269,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science, Technology and Society","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135469733","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
