One advantage of DG is a grid support reducing the cost in transmission and distribution system. The problem relates to DG is when the loss of grid occurs, the DG will operate stand-alone and supply the rest of the load. The main topic of the research is the ability of generator protection system to detect the loss of grid condition for medium power DG. Nondetection zone (NDZ) is like a blind spot causing the protection system can not be able to detect the fault. NDZ of a synchronous generator can be estimated by voltage and frequency relay by simulation. The result shows that medium power DG with governor and AVR mechanism indicated that the protection of loss of grid only needed frequency relay because voltage relay has a wider NDZ. NDZ of frequency relay with AVR mechanism for resistive-inductive pf 0.8 load is at the value of active power imbalance (ΔP) -0.0425 pu till 0.0972 pu and the value of reactive power imbalance (ΔQ) -0.0319 pu till 0.0728 pu.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127222720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mutual impedance arises when transmission lines are parallel lines on a common right way. In this study, a system model to observed mutual impedance effect between parallel disrupted lines and under maintenance line are explained. The system model is validated using actual recorded fault current waveform. The simulation result shows that when disconnector of the under maintenance line open and grounded on both side, the line mutual current will be high. On the other hand, when disconnector open and gorunded only on one side, the line mutual current will be low but the voltage will be high.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117251381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the issue of limited readability of chipless RFID tags in the real environment and particularly on a large metallic platform raises the need for applying the cross-polarization reading, and thus depolarizing sensor tags are required. This paper introduces a depolarizing chipless RFID sensor tag design for characterization of metal cracks based on dual resonance features. The proposed chipless RFID sensor tag integrates a modified circular patch antenna with notched edges as the crack sensor and diagonal bent dipoles as the tag ID. The notches on the diagonal edges make the circular patch able to depolarize the incident waves and generates two resonances for sensing purpose. To obtain the frequency signature of the sensor tag, a chipless RFID sensor reader is developed from an ultra-wideband (UWB) radar module applying the short-time Fourier transform (STFT). The simulation and experimental studies show that the dual resonance features generated by the depolarizing circular patch can be used to indicate the crack orientation as well as to characterize the crack width in millimeter. With the sensor’s readability over a large metallic platform and the usability of the dual resonance features in crack characterization, the developed chipless RFID system is potential for real implementations of the internet of things (IoT)-based SHM.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128215681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, ball handling mechanism becomes a very important part in the middle size robot soccer. Implementation of active handling and dribbling system aims to maintain the robot keeping the ball in an ideal position when maneuvering. This research aims to create mechanical design and control of ball handling system. Thus, the robot can control the ball whilst moving dynamically. The dribbler system applied PID as a control method, by reading the angular data from the position sensor located on the dribbler's arms. The result of this control will enable the ball handling system to maintain the ideal position of the ball. Therefore, the robot can perform the ball handling process while doing translations and rotation movement as well.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132216749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The vibration may take effect in pilot and passenger comfortable, it may also cause structure damage at fuselage if the generated frequency of the vibration is large. This paper presents the use of adaptive control for reducing the vibration in helicopter. The system is modeled using 3 DOF movement, including blades, rotor mount, and fuselage which connecting spring and damper. We modified the system using nonlinear semiactive damper which damper parameter is controlled variable. The simulation shows that use of nonlinear semi-active damper gives results a response with the amplitude and acceleration of fuselage closed to zero. This is better than if we use the passive damper. The results is satisfy the minimum requirement of helicopter vibration by NASA.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116799973","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the MQTT protocol, there are security mechanism issues such as publisher (device) authentication and data privacy protection is still not good. This causes the integrity and confidentiality of a data used by the subscriber to be less secure. Device nodes and gateway devices in IoT that become publishers will be authenticated to obtain tokens using authentication server via HTTPS. Tokens are embedding with sensor data inside secure payload format and publish to MQTT broker. Authentication server will perform management and validation credentials on all publishers and secure payload in MQTT broker. In addition, SSL certificates are applied to the MQTT protocol to secure their communications. Based on evaluation and security analysis, the application of access control mechanisms can be implemented on the MQTT protocol and can secure the integrity and confidentiality of data that sent from the device to the cloud over the internet. In the overhead analysis, there is a significant increase in payload because of the payload data sent with the token, but the latency of delivery time, CPU, memory usage is still up to a reasonable limit of not more than 50%.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117044940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Indonesia, one of the most popular topics to share, post and comment is online-based transportation service (TNCs). These comments could lead to valuable knowledge that would be tremendous assets for supporting critical business intelligence applications. The knowledge gained from social media can potentially lead to the development of novel services that are better tailored to users’ needs and also meet the objectives of businesses offering them. The problem to build an effective Indonesian sentiment analysis system is that there is still no availability of the corpus, complete with each word characteristic, whether it subjective, adjective, adverb, noun, etc. Another problem is because their cultural heritage, or for politeness reason, Indonesian people often used negation in their sentence. So instead of saying “ugly”, they say “not good”, or instead of saying expensive, they said “not cheap”, which could lead to miss-classify of the sentiment. Thus, this research focus on building model that has the ability to classify TNC element target on its sentiment class, by considering negation form sentences and then implement it in the proposed sentiment analysis system. Another important feature is system’s ability to learning new keywords for TNC elements and sentiment. This proposed approach would use rule based algorithm to classify target object, the polarity of sentiment and negation from online opinion. And used Naive Bayes algorithm for the incremental feature. Result from this study show that the proposed system is able to classify user opinion with 90% precision and 70% recall. This concludes that from evaluation results, the proposed algorithm performs well to automatically analyze sentiment.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"48 7","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114106738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
