The type of bearing damage itself consists of damage to the inner-race, outer-race and ball bearing. The occurrence of this bearing damage may cause increased vibration, temperature rise and may cause damage to the shafts, rotor and stator. To speed up the repair process, bearing damage detection should be classified according to the type of damage occurring. In this study, bearing damage will be detected by transient current analysis using discrete wavelet transform method. To determine the occurrence of damage, processing of transient current signals using discrete wavelet transforms performed by comparing the signal sub-band frequency at normal bearings and during fault. Furthermore, artificial neural networks are used to provide information on classification of types of fault. Analysis of result show that the presentage of successness classification as 100% for inner-race damage, 98% for outter-race damage and 100% for ball bearing damage. With the classification of damage to this bearing, it is expected to simplify and speed up the repair process.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132567571","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, Slot-less generator does not have cogging force that affects translator movement and create harmonics on low speed generator and removal of iron tooth in translator resulting in lower flux density than it is in conventional generator. Permanent magnet modification is done by many researcher to maximize flux density. Modification on permanent magnet array also gives satisfying result on giving high density flux. Common linear generator uses axial-array permanent magnet in them. Axial-array done by exposing two of same poles in one direction. But this array has it flaw–that is leakage flux that run through translator’s core. To minimize this leakage flow, Halbach-array is proposed so that the flux focused in one direction. In this paper, length variation on axial and radial permanent magnet is done and analyzed. Flux linkage on axial and Halbach-array also analyzed and compared in different slot length. In this paper, maximum flux density is obtained by minimizing radial array length on permanent magnet. Length increase in higher ratio gives smaller rise in flux density compared to it is in lower ratio–logarithmic growth like.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123154375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Oil and gas working areas, mostly located in remote areas are very far from the power grids, hence the employment of diesel power plants are often chosen as the power supply. This study investigates solar power generation as an alternative of electricity supply in upstream oil and gas field by utilizing empty open space in the area of oil and gas well as the location where the solar panel is installed. With project scenarios following the development plans or drilling of oil and gas wells, we found that the development of solar power plants could provide greater revenue/benefits to the Production Sharing Contractors and the Government, rather than using diesel engine and hybrid power plants.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115875378","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, the road defect assessment is still manual. Unfortunately, this method takes a long time and can cause ambiguity because of the subjectivity factor. Along with the development of science on image processing technology and machine learning, assessment of road defects can be done automatically by the machine. Road defect classification is the first step in automated road assessment. The image of road defect will be taken from the machine, taking on the features of each defect and classifying the image of its features. GLCM is a feature extract method that has been widely used for image processing. This study classifies some types of road defects, ie potholes, cracks and other defects using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) as a feature extract, while Radial Basis Function (RBF) as an object classification. The proposed method can classify defects with an average of 93% accuracy, 93% precision and 100% recall.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115381545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While shopping online, consumers see interesting item or product and they want to know the details of the products. This stage is defined as consumer interest in products. Several researches discussed that consumer interest in e-commerce products are influenced by colors, prices, models, sizes, product experience and shopping experience. The measurement of consumer interest is fixation duration, which is the metric of eye tracking method. Previous studies stated there is relation consumer interest in products with decision making to select a preferred product. This paper presents an experiment to measure consumer interest in products and to learn the relations between consumer interests in products and the selected products using comparation between two data which is data eye tracking for consumer interest and data selected product from database. The contribution of this paper is to present a model of consumer interest using fixation duration as a metric of eye tracking method, with decision making process when selecting a product, and also a result of experiment that there is a relation between consumer interest and selected product.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129109582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A common method used for finding relevant documents is representing text documents into vector space model (VSM). Relevance between query and documents can be calculated using document similarities theory, by comparing the deviation of angles between each document vector and the query (from user question) vector where the query is represented as the same kind of vector as the documents. The Vector Space model algorithms widely used are Term Frequency * Inverse Document Frequency (TF*IDF) and Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI), however both models have their respective limitation. Considering that problem, this paper proposed hybrid model that combines TF*IDF and LSI to fix some limitations on both. From the experimental results, it is found that the proposed model is outperform (P@1=0.67) compared to TF*IDF model (P@1=0.27) and LSI model (P@1=0.4) that stand alone.","PeriodicalId":142523,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ICITEE)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127682138","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Metaheuristics is also used in urban traffic lights. This paper will discuss the metaheuristics used in urban traffic lights and divide it into two approaches. First, improve the performance of metaheuristic algorithms by coordinating between traffic intersections. Second, change the fixed time signal controller into an adaptive time signal control, then use metaheuristics to get optimal green signal time. The first approach is done by improving the performance of the algorithm by finding the smallest ARPD value of the improved Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm and Harmony Search (HS). The result obtained the smallest average ARPD to 0.74 for the Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm and the computing time for the largest case (10 * 10 for 60s) using Discrete Harmony Search (DHS) was 6,219s. While completion of the second approach managed to raise the vehicle speed up to 27.6%. We studied this type of D2D networks using a stochastic geometry model to represent the devices communications on urban areas. We modelled the urban street system as a Poisson-Voronoi tessellation (PVT) and devices were randomly distributed following a one-dimensional Poisson point process on each edge of the tessellation. Setting the distance of communication that can be reached, we consider the corresponding Gilbert graph. We considered that a large number of devices are connected over large distances on the territory if there exists an infinite connected component of the graph. in this paper, we compare several different methods for the estimation of the percolation threshold of the graph. We show that the best estimations with the smallest variance are obtained through a torus model.
