The most important step after you have coined a new idea is to investigate the idea’s potential to be transformed into a successful implementation in class and in education more generally. In this paper, I present a brief review on the studies I have conducted since 2005 into the notion of linking visual active representations. In this context, I will also present a table which lists the new terms I have coined in association with the DGS environments, and listing the publications in which they were reported. In conclusion, I present my views on the contribution Dynamic Geometry systems have made to the construction of knowledge and to the learning and teaching of mathematics.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83936442","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And the big challenge here is getting the students motivated enough to cope with the new system, learn, and succeed on their own which is critical to their academic performance and overall success. This study aimed to measure and analyze if there is significant relationship between the motivational factors as perceived by the science students and their academic performance. Likewise, association between the motivational factors and learners’ satisfaction is also measured. The study is a descriptive-correlational in nature and employ in sixty-five (65) science students of Laguna State Polytechnique University. Survey questionnaire is adapted in Science Motivational Questionnaire (SMQ-II) and a researchermade questionnaire are administered to gather data that are needed and crucial for this study. The study found out that there is no significant relationship between the motivational factors and academic performance of the students. Notably, there is enough evidence that supported the claim that motivational factors are significantly correlated with the satisfaction of the students towards learning components. However, it appears that the assessment in anxiety as motivational factors has no significant relation with any of the learning components. Likewise, the component learning environment, is also not associated with any motivational factors.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"43 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77584545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Clean technologies are an important sector that are distinguished from traditional counterparts that provide comparable goods or services by their ability to reduce environmental footprints, notably through reduced emissions or more responsible exploitation of natural resources. This broad area includes a wide range of advancements, including technologies for sustainable water management, sophisticated energy storage options, and improvements to energy efficiency. Our study is considered significant on several levels. In order to understand the dynamics of how ESG performance relates to firm value, it first aims to examine the ESG performance of clean technology businesses. These businesses have a special attractiveness since they portray a 'clean' image and significantly improve the standard of living for people in both developed and developing countries. Their accomplishments go beyond just making money; they also make significant attempts to improve society. Additionally, investments in clean technology are frequently hailed as crucial for boosting the competitiveness of governments and businesses alike while also offering an improved standard of living for their population. The theoretical ramifications of our study are revealed in the detailed relationships between ESG performance and business value in the clean technology sector. We pave the path for a greater knowledge of how businesses working in this industry contribute to broader sustainability in both the economy and the environment by building a sophisticated awareness of these links. Our findings have significant potential for investors, decision-makers, and business titans. They offer important insights on how clean technology companies should be strategically positioned, potentially influencing investment choices, forming regulatory frameworks, and directing corporate strategies toward more environmentally and socially conscious actions. Our research also adds to the growing conversation about the critical role that clean technology plays in enhancing citizens' well-being and competitiveness by providing a road map for interested parties. In conclusion, this study adds to our understanding of the ESG performance of clean technology firms and how it affects firm value, highlighting their critical role in determining the future of sustainability and prosperity for societies and economies around across the globe.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135400824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Comprehensive defence, viewed as whole government and whole society approach to national defence, plays a critical role in national defence and deterrence credibility. The modern-day concept of comprehensive national defence remains staple in defence planning and the perception of risks to national security as it is based on two fundamental principles – resistance and resilience. Total defence, as a concept, is intended to ensure the best possible utilization of society’s limited resources when it comes to prevention, contingency planning and consequence management across the entire spectrum of crises. The article discusses the idea of comprehensive national defence and represents a basic review of the defence approaches of some states such as Singapore, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Norwey and Georgia to identify fundamental pillars of comprehensive defence concept.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"75 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86052394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
