The purpose of this study was to determine how doing lesson reflection the Lesson Study way can offer meaningful insights to enrich reflection under DO 42, series of 2016. This study interviewed 13 participants who all had a minimum of one year in conducting Lesson Study. This is anchored on constructivism and variation theories. Maximum variation sampling was purposely used in choosing the interview participants. The participants were semi-structurally interviewed one-on-one via Zoom. The data were treated for purposes of coding and in search for patterns using Quirkos, a qualitative data analyzer software and were analyzed using reflexive thematic analysis by Braun and Clarke, 2019. The study revealed the following themes which highlighted answers to the role of lesson reflection through Lesson Study in meeting desired learning outcomes for subproblem 1: a) improved lesson preparations, b) improvement in lesson execution, c) student learning facility, d) teachers’ professional growth; for subproblem 2: a) better lesson preparation and delivery, b) students learn by doing and make learning discoveries; for subproblem 3: reflective lesson revisions improve students’ performance, b) learning is bridged particularly to slow students, c) aids students’ learnability through teachers’ anticipations based on observations","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74768137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The nation's sex education policies are not consistently followed, and they occasionally run into difficulties due to sociocultural factors. Providing teenagers with information about sex education is fraught with tension among many parents, schools, policymakers, and cultures due to the belief that it may result in early sexual behavior and the loss of childhood innocence. The researchers used a descriptive-correlational research design to discover if there is a relationship between sociocultural environment, condition, and students’ level of knowledge on sex education. The respondents were 60 first year students of CTE LSPU-SPCC. The data were gathered using a survey questionnaire created by researchers. The findings demonstrated that the following elements of the sociocultural environment and condition have a favorable perspective on sex education and does not act as a barrier in achieving sexual knowledge. However, students' knowledge of sexual education is at a low level. In conclusion, the hypothesis stating that there is no significant relationship between sociocultural environment and condition, and students’ level of knowledge on sex education is supported. It is recommended that CSE be implemented across the country, that sex education be taught in every home at early age, improve the test questionnaire, widen the scope of the study, and explore other variables.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"92 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81623697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the results of the questionnaire, this study examined how guests' perception of a hotel's star rating might affect its safe image and how a hotel's safe image and guests' perceived risk might affect their trust in the hotel and patronage intention. A total of 94 hotels have participated in the survey, and 949 valid questionnaires have been returned. Through factor analysis, correlation analysis, variance analysis, and structural equation modeling analysis, this study found significant differences in star rating perception of the four dimensions of the safe image, a significant moderation effect of perceived risk on the relationship between safe image and trust, and a relationship between safe image, trust, and patronage intention. The value of this study is that under the threat of COVID-19, it has built an influence model of guests' intention to patronize a hotel, thereby providing empirical contributions to the social exchange theory and protection motivation theory, as well as proposing practical suggestions on how hoteliers may improve customer trust.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"32 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85652006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the data that was gathered, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the challenges encountered in the online distance learning and respondents' academic performance. The way you cope with the new delivery of instructions of the new normal is a sign of progress in academic performance. Thus, there is really a tremendous effect on academic performance if the learners already aware of the learning modality they have, but your academic performance only depends on the learner's ability to perform based on the criteria set by the teacher. Furthermore, challenges in online distance learning affects the academic performance of the student, while academic performance can't affect the online distance learning, thus it is very important to know the modality, learning styles of the learners in the online distance learning to get a high academic performance.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"18 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72829214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fear of receiving negative comments from others is called the \"dread of unfavorable judgment.\" \"Prosocial\" behaviors help not just the individual but also society. This study examined if fear of judgment makes individuals reluctant to assist. It was hypothesized that individuals would be less willing to aid others due to concern over how others would see their actions. This research examined if self-conscious individuals assist less. This study examined how anxieties of unfavorable evaluations could influence prosocial behavior. The research also examined whether such anxieties predict compassion. Data and statistical testing underpin the study. Ex-study participants took social anxiety and kindness tests. Correlation and regression were used to study evaluation anxiety and compassion. Niceness and caring about others' views are statistically negative. Worriers about others' views are less inclined to aid the needy. Worrying over negative reviews predicted reduced philanthropy, according to regression analysis. Therapy to reduce criticism anxiety is needed in civilized societies. CBT and social skills training may reduce judgment anxiety and increase compassion. Both methods work. A humanitarian assistance network might lessen evaluation worries. This research found a link between charitable giving and self-consciousness. This shows the significance of reducing grade anxiety to encourage good conduct.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76313049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Companies must create strategies to guarantee that work can be completed correctly and produce quality outcomes while being done from home. On the other side, the ability to work from home improves employees' ability to balance their work and personal lives. Traveling to and from work is typically wasteful time that could be spent with family. Working from home, however, can also bring about fresh issues, such as disagreements among staff members over prioritizing work versus family time. This issue is frequently expressed as a conflict of roles. Companies are anticipated to use the findings of this research when making decisions, particularly with reference to employee job satisfaction. The analysis program SPSS for Windows v. 26.0 is used in this investigation. This study uses the non-probability sampling approach as its sampling strategy. There were 150 samples collected for the study using the convenience sampling method. The study's findings demonstrate that working from home significantly and favourably impacts job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is positively and significantly impacted by work-life balance. Job satisfaction is negatively and significantly impacted by role conflict. Work from home, work-life balance, and role conflict all have an impact on job satisfaction at the same time.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87487373","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital government and digital governance (as terms and concepts), known as multidimensional, multifaceted and multidisciplinary phenomenon, are often treated as synonymous and used interchangeably in the academic literature or formal documents. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly difficult to clear existing conceptual ambiguity between them. There are no universally accepted definitions of both abstractions. Such conceptual uncertainty has a negative impact on the development of digital democracy. The research objective of this article is to provide a deeper understanding of digital government and digital governance concepts through empirical studies and scatter the existing ambiguity in differences between these two concepts as this variety is not just questions of academic nuance. Based on a comparative analysis of digital government and digital governance conceptual meanings, this article offers an approach according to which digital government and digital governance represents two various but closely related and co-existing concepts. Furthermore, in the concluding section of the article, there is suggested recommendation regarding development a new grand concept in which both multidimensional conceptual visions will be combined.","PeriodicalId":14213,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Scientific and Management Research","volume":"6 3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89116293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
