Stock prices and returns are one unit, so that to estimate stock prices and returns can be seen from the company's financial performance, through financial ratios such as liquidity ratios, profitability ratios, and debt or leverage ratios. Companies with good financial performance are expected to have good stock performance. This study used a sample of 31 public companies in the wholesale and retail trade sub-sector which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2020 period. Sampling of this research was based on purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is tiered linear regression, path analysis, and the Sobel test. The results of this study indicate that the significant liquidity ratio has a negative effect on the debt ratio and the liquidity ratio does not have a significant negative effect on stock returns. The profitability ratio has a significant positive effect on the debt ratio which confirms the trade-off theory. The profitability ratio has a significant positive effect on stock returns, while the debt ratio has a significant negative effect on stock returns. The debt ratio is not significant to mediate the positive negative effect of the liquidity ratio on stock returns. Likewise, the debt ratio is not significant mediating the negative positive effect of profitability ratios on stock returns. The results of this study suggest that investors who expect high stock returns do not need to pay attention to the company's debt ratio, but rather pay attention to the company's liquidity and profitability.","PeriodicalId":142050,"journal":{"name":"ENDLESS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF FUTURE STUDIES","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114834728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This can trigger MSMEs to create new businesses and be different from other SMEs with better performance. MSMEs have a strategic role in realizing national economic development because MSMEs can absorb labor and contribute to economic growth in Indonesia. According to data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in 2019 there were 119.6 million workers, an increase of 2.21% compared to the previous year. Many MSMEs lack insight and knowledge so they lack a long-term orientation. Lack of knowledge in the field of management makes efforts to improve performance tend to be conventional. This study aims to determine how the influence of human resource competence on the performance of MSMEs, and the influence of financial aspects on the performance of MSMEs. This research is a comparative causal research which is a research with the characteristics of the problem of a cause and effect relationship between two or more variables. The sample from this study were 30 MSME respondents located in the Cirendeu sub-district. The data analysis used in this study included validity tests, reliability tests, classic assumption tests and partial hypothesis testing (t) with the help of SPSS version 23. The results of this study indicate that HR competence has no significant effect on MSME performance. that the first hypothesis is rejected. The accounting aspect has a significant effect on the performance of SMEs. Accounting knowledge has a smaller significance and t count is greater than t table.","PeriodicalId":142050,"journal":{"name":"ENDLESS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF FUTURE STUDIES","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121956209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Legality is a legal principle that states that there is no criminal act without a clear legal basis. The research method used in this study is a literature study with a normative analysis approach to analyze and interpret laws and regulations related to the principle of legality in the criminal justice system, case studies, and analyzed through comparative studies. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the principle of legality has a crucial role in ensuring justice and protecting human rights in the criminal justice system. Although there are several challenges in applying this principle, efforts to strengthen adherence to the legality principle must be continued through training, supervision, and evaluation of criminal law policies. In the study of literature and normative analysis, it was found that the principle of legality has a strong legal basis and is the main basis for forming criminal law policies.","PeriodicalId":142050,"journal":{"name":"ENDLESS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF FUTURE STUDIES","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122568295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, this study wanted to evaluate the achievements of the digital transformation process in licensing services to start a business in Pekalongan City, Central Java, Indonesia. Second, this study also expected to identify the factors that influenced the achievement of the digital transformation process in licensing services to start a business in Pekalongan City. This study used qualitative approach to answer the problem formulation through a case study. Data and information were analyzed using chronological time series analysis techniques. The informants of this research were selected through the snowball method. The results of data and information analysis showed that Pekalongan City was at the e-government stage. Three reasons that justified that the achievement was not at the digital government stage. First, users or citizens had not voiced demand in the digital transformation process. Second, the transformation of internal work processes had not yet taken place. Third, there had not been a shared database sharing process between related agencies either within the Pekalongan City government environment or with central government agencies. The analysis also showed that five factors that influenced the process of digital transformation in licensing services to start a business in Pekalongan City, those were: strategic factors, digital cultural factors, leadership factors, human resource capacity factors, and the role factor of central government organizations.","PeriodicalId":142050,"journal":{"name":"ENDLESS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF FUTURE STUDIES","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134501787","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Minimarket as one type of modern store in the city of Surabaya. Even according to the Surabaya City Spatial Planning Office in 2014 there were 488 minimarkets with retail status spread across 31 districts in the city of Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to explain how the City Apparatus Work Unit is related to controlling the arrangement of minimarkets in the city of Surabaya. This study uses Ricky W. Griffin's theory of control measures or Levels of Control about four steps in control, namely: establishing standards, measuring performance, comparing performance against standards, and considering corrective action. The research method used is a qualitative research method that aims to understand, analyze, and explain the aspects that exist in controlling the arrangement of minimarkets in the city of Surabaya. Data collection techniques are carried out by means, observation, interviews and documents. And to validate the data the authors used the source triangulation technique. The results of this study show that the control of minimarket arrangement in Surabaya City has not run in accordance with applicable regulations. Violations that occur range from licensing problems, to spatial planning discrepancies. In addition, there is supervision that is not followed by reports. Until there is still weak enforcement against violating minimarkets. Although there is a Moratorium Letter, the Moratorium Letter is not a solution to minimarket violations in the city of Surabaya. Because the Moratorium Letter only solves the problem of issuing new minimarket permits in the city of Surabaya.","PeriodicalId":142050,"journal":{"name":"ENDLESS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF FUTURE STUDIES","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132202911","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By working, the welfare level of prisoners increases. The method used is qualitative. The research question posed is how is the implementation of fostering independence to increase the welfare of convicts and the obstacles encountered in independent activities and when free convicts want to get a job? This study aims to find out the implementation of self-reliance coaching to increase the welfare of convicts and the obstacles faced by independent activities. The problems convict face when looking for work or entrepreneurship. The results showed that several obstacles were found, such as inadequate infrastructure, non-specific activity budgets, low employee ability for E-commerce, low motivation of prisoners to participate in activities, and when free from prisoners, it is also difficult to get a job. The complexity of the problems faced must be overcome immediately, and it requires the involvement of all parties. In this study, the method that will be used to conduct research is quantitative research, because it tests hypotheses using certain statistical analysis tools. Quantitative data is statistical data in the form of numbers, both directly extracted from research results and the results of processing qualitative data into quantitative data. This study found that sleep environment and children's sleep quality have a significant relationship. The results show that a good sleep environment, including a comfortable temperature, low noise, and dim lighting, contributes to better sleep quality in children. In addition, other factors such as the comfort of the bed and a regular sleep schedule also affect the quality of a child's sleep.","PeriodicalId":142050,"journal":{"name":"ENDLESS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF FUTURE STUDIES","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117160293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Spending by the government, tax rates, the rate at which banks open new accounts, and the total amount of money in circulation are the variables that were investigated in this study. This study takes a quantitative approach, and the analytical method that is employed is multiple linear regression using secondary data on economic growth from 2013-2022. The data for this study was collected from the United States Department of Commerce. The study's conclusions indicate that taxes and the amount of money in circulation impact Indonesia's economic growth, but neither government spending nor interest rates on BI deposits do. Additionally, how government expenditure, taxes, interest rates, and the amount of money in circulation affect economic growth. It is 99.66%. As a result, while making future decisions about the economy, the government will need to take into account both kinds of policies in a comprehensive manner.","PeriodicalId":142050,"journal":{"name":"ENDLESS: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF FUTURE STUDIES","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126291954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
