Cloud computing may become a major tool for researchers to access processors and storage. Cloud computing brings both opportunities and challenges to high performance computing (HPC). Infinite on-demand computing resource can make HPC much more convenient and common than ever before. However, the virtualization paradigm which has been widely used in the cloud computing systems will decrease the running efficiency of the physic machine. We described some difficulties to implement high performance computing of finite element analysis in the cloud computing systems, and gave some candidate solutions in this article.","PeriodicalId":141108,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Future Computer Sciences and Application","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114774307","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Skirt pattern automatic generation system is an important component in the development of two-dimensional non-contact body measurement and application system. The system only needs body front and side photos provided of clients, and allows clients to change the skirt style through the design interface so that pattern design can complete automatically. Sheath skirts pattern automatic generation is the basis to research different skirts pattern auto-generation system. This paper is to translate body size extraction procedure to a document which can be directly transferred by using MATLAB software so as to realize automatic extraction of body size based on VS language. The crown structure model was constructed under the guidance of quantitative analysis of its morphology data. The 3-Dimensional (3-D) geometrical modeling technology of different organs was also investigated, and organ geometrical models were developed according to characteristic parameters. Moreover, individual tree model was built by means of assembling single organs. The studies above laid a solid foundation for a virtual system that, with the help of the developing platform of VC++ language and OpenGL, can realize the organic integration between the growth mechanism and the visual expression of morphological characteristics. In addition, it also showed the ideas of the organic integration between crown structure model and visualization. The system consists of geometric construction module, crown model module, visualization module, scene control module, two database, and human-machine interface. Operations of the system turned out to be fully capable of achieving the visual expression of the morphological characteristics of an individual Mongolian Scots Pine in its plantation based on the field measured data or the parameters which was outputted by the models. Not only can this visualization be a solid foundation for visualization of forest management, it can also become a nice reference for the visualization study of other species.","PeriodicalId":141108,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Future Computer Sciences and Application","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132907333","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In 2006, nearly 130 photos of Wulangbuhe desert were taken in Dengkou County, and with the aids of GPS 10 bands of air routes had been operated with three-angel measurement methods. A view map in 1 sg KM under the scale of 1:1000 came to shape after correction work of the orthographic projection was done. By measuring the distribution, circus, and height status of typical Nitraria tangtorum, a measuring research to the plants was conducted in desert. Biomass forecast model were constructed with plant scale and plant height after the data from air-view photos were analyzed. The result shows that, 1) biomass in research zone was affected by factors of plant scale and plant height, the model of Nitraria tangtorum is: W=-33.92+6.53E-4(D2H)-9.86E-10(D2H)2+7.05E-16(D2H)3. 2) plant scale(D) and plant height(H) were both used in the biomass model as the factors. In conclusion, the key factors affecting Nitraria tangtorum include plant scale(D) and plant height(H), but single factor doesn't have significant influence on the growth of biomass (p","PeriodicalId":141108,"journal":{"name":"2011 International Conference on Future Computer Sciences and Application","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129707272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

China has signed an agreement about receiving, processing, archiving, and distributing THEOS data with GISTDA. The data of THEOS will soon be applied to and play an important role in resources surveying, environment monitoring, disaster assessing, mapping, and digital city. However, the study about pansharpening methods of THEOS images is still limited. Besides, it has a high spatial resolution ratio between the multispectral image and panchromatic image of THEOS data, It's quite valuable to study on the pansharpening methods of this kind of data. The pansharpening methods of high spatial resolution ratio images are discussed in detail in this paper. In order to improve the quality of the pansharpening image, the multi-step pansharpening method is introduced. The quality of the pansharpening images is analyzed from the two aspects of spatial and spectral information.
