In order to reduce the network bandwidth, this paper designs the architecture and function modules of a multimedia conferencing system based on campus network, which can fully make use of the convenient educational resources in the campus network. The element stiffness matrixes of spatial beam with shear effect considered or not were deduced and computed respectively, a part of source code for calculating these matrices were provided as well. Results show that MATLAB is very advantageous in the calculation of element stiffness matrix of space beam. It provides a new idea to compute the element stiffness matrix of spatial beam and other elements. In this project, the simulator of 6R robot, was examined in terms of software and test. In the new version of the software, three cameras were used simultaneously. The camera which is installed as eye-in-hand on the end-effector of the robot is used for visual servoing in a Feature-based method. The target object is recognized according to its characteristics and the robot is directed toward the object in compliance with an algorithm similar to the function of human's eyes. However, the results obtained from the questionnaire still cannot reach a decision. Hence, the paper provides the method of entropy, which uses randomness as the starting point, to quantify the uncertain problems and to offer auxiliary analysis of the results. Also, the method of entropy can make more complete results. First, the mathematics model of entropy is introduced in the paper followed by two examples. The reasonableness of the results of the questionnaire will be based on analyzing the factors¡¦ weighting. Besides, the Matlab GUI is used as the auxiliary tool to calculate the huge data. Wen","doi":"10.1109/ICFCSA.2011.37","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICFCSA.2011.37","url":null,"abstract":"The authors describe an innovative simulation framework that combines daily commuting network data with a commonly used population-based transmission model to assess the impacts of various interventions on epidemic dynamics in Taiwan. Called the Multilayer Epidemic Dynamics Simulator (MEDSim), our proposed framework has four contact structures: within age group, between age groups, daily commute, and nationwide interaction. Our results indicate that lower transmission rates and earlier intervention activation times did not reduce total numbers of infected cases, but did delay peak times. When transmission rate was decreased by a minimum of 70%, significant epidemic peak delays were observed when interventions were activated before new case number 50; no significant effects were noted when the transmission rate was decreased by less than 30%. Observed peaks occurred more quickly when initial outbreaks took place in urban rather than rural areas.
