Tethered cord syndrome is a neurological disorder caused by tissue attachments that limit the movement of spinal cord within the spinal column. A 7 years old girl child presented with lumbosacral swelling with non healing ulcer on foot and with weakness of lower limbs since childhood. MRI scan of lumbosacral spine suggest spinal dysraphism in L3-L5 vertebrae with lipomeningomyelocele from L2 to S2 levels with tethered low lying cord .The patient underwent surgical procedure. The majority cases of tethered cord syndrome are related to spinal dysraphism.Children with spinal dysraphism, especially those with lipomyelomeningocele, who may be associated with TCS, which may be asymptomatic at an early stage, require intensive follow-up care and observation. \u0000Keyword: Spinal dysraphism, neurological disorder, TCS, lipomeningomyelocele.

The aim of this study was to determine the perceptions of medical students regarding the surgical pathology course taken by medical students at Northern Border University. \u0000Material and methods: In this cross-sectional study, a questionnaire was given to medical students taking this course. The questionnaire comprised several items on students’ attitudes toward surgical pathology. And a five-point Likert scale was used. Data were analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) v 20 software. Results: One hundred and fifty three questionnaires received from the students were analysed. \u0000Discussion and Conclusions: The answers to the questionnaire showed that ‘one size fits all’ approach cannot be employed for educating the students. A combination of different strategies and methods helped improve student satisfaction, particularly in regard with case presentation studies and practical’s. It is the most aggressive carcinoma of the biliary tract with short median survival from the time of diagnosis. The aggressive biologic behaviour of the carcinoma and non-availability of sensitive screening tests for early detection may be responsible for the poor prognosis associated with GBC. \u0000Material and Methods: Patients diagnosed with neoplastic and non-neoplastic gallbladder lesions in the Department of Pathology, Subharti Medical College in India were included in the study. Gall bladder biopsies findings and the clinic-pathological data were compiled and different immune-markers diagnostic and therapeutic usefulness were studied . \u0000Results: 24 (24.0%) of the cases were in the age group of 51-60 Years. In 38 (38.0%) of the cases the site of lesion was Fundus. 55 (55.0%) of cases had associated stones. 36 (36.0%) of them had P53: strong over expression, 40 (40.0%) of the them had ki67: strong over expression, 25 (25.0%) had EGFR: strong over expression whereas negative expression for Her2/Neu was found in 61 (61.0%) of the cases. Cyclin D1: moderate over expression was found in 27 (27.0%) of them and moderate over expression of E-cadherin were found in 22 (23.2%) cases. \u0000Conclusions: Novel prognostic biomarkers could bring about the needed breakthrough in gall bladder cancer diagnosis and treatment. Hundred patients were operated between April 2012 to April 2022 by modified NICH technique. All were primary uncomplicated cases of inguinal hernia. Modified NICH procedure for inguinal hernia takes care of recurrence better than any other procedure for inguinal hernia. Modified NICH hernioplasty gives added advantages of repairing posterior inguinal wall which directly influences the recurrence rate. Dental practitioners, due to the concise area of work are in direct contact and consequently at a higher risk for transmitting or acquiring this diseases. In this COVID era, vaccine hesitancy remains a greater barrier to the population inoculation against this highly dreadful and infectious disease. With the rapid development of the vaccine globally, major concerns about it acceptance and safety still remains a question. Thus the main \u0000Aim of our article was to assess the acceptance and hesitancy rates regarding COVID-19 vaccination among dental student, exploring their experience and creating an awareness program for counseling of hesitant subjects. \u0000Material and Methodology: randomized 100 under and post graduate dental students of Himachal Pradesh were selected and divided into two groups G1 with 50 vaccinated and G2 with 50 non vaccinated students. The data obtained was collected, tabulated and analyzed using Chi square test for the experience of subjects regarding vaccine. \u0000Results: when compared around 76% of the vaccinated respondents agreed about the fact of making vaccination mandatory for all while 90% of the non-vaccinated respondents were still confused about the same. \u0000Conclusion: the results of our study highlighted for the need and awareness about the safety and effectiveness to promote the uptake of COVID-19 vaccine. Helicobacter pylori is also known as Campylobacter pylori. It is a gram-negative, micro-aerophilic, spiral (helical) bacterium usually found in the stomach. H. pylori infection is one of the most common and chronic bacterial infection, affecting approximately half of the world's population. Peptic ulcer disease, gastric ulcers, mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma and gastric cancer all are linked to H. pylori. There are various diagnostic procedures to detect H. pylori infection and the choice of one approach over another is based on a number of considerations including accessibility, benefits and drawbacks of each method, cost, and the age of the patients. When H. pylori infection is diagnosed, doctor determines the therapy on the basis of patient's clinical status. Generally, eradication of H. pylori is recommended for treatment and prevention of the infection. In most of the cases H. pylori infections are cured with triple therapy. Moreover, quadruple therapies, sequential therapies and concomitant therapies have been developed as major alternative options to treat H. pylori infection. In this review pathophysiology, prevalence, transmission, clinical sign & symptoms, risk factors, and diagnostic techniques used to detect H. pylori infection as well as H. pylori eradication therapy regimens are discussed. \u0000Keywords: Diagnosis, Helicobacter pylori, Treatment, Hybrid therapy, Concomitant therapy, Sequential therapy
