Many are found in public spaces that not support the existence of accessible services for persons with disabilities. Among many exclusion issues, this essay wants to focus on disability, which is related to the low attention of the government to people with disabilities’ accessibility and representation. Social exclusion especially to people with disabilities strongly related to the concept of power relation. This implies that the social transformation (democratisation) will occur when the political system guarantees the power and power relations to be recognised by each individual in the society. This need can be facilitated by modifying the curriculum based on assessment of students, which is then used as the basis for making the Program Pembelajaran Individu (PPI). The study was conducted on Jakarta SLBN X teachers who began to modify the curriculum, but were not yet maximal. The study uses quantitative methods with qualitative data as supporting data. Quantitative data was obtained through measuring instruments of knowledge and attitudes towards the making of PPIs filled by 29 teachers. While qualitative data was obtained through interviews with nine teachers based on the results of quantitative data categorization (lacking, sufficient, good). The results showed that 34% had insufficient knowledge, 59% were sufficient, and 7% were good about making PPIs. While 45% of teachers have a lack of attitude and are quite positive, and 10% of teachers are categorized as good in their attitude towards making PPIs. Different tests show there are differences in the attitudes of teachers who have and have never attended workshops on handling students with special needs. Inclusive education is an effort to provide access to education for every citizen, including those with special needs. Inclusive education must be well managed, so that policy and their implementation are in accordance with the underlying concepts. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with literature review approach and empirical. As well as conducting case studies in the field by observing inclusive school organizers to view data empirically. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This research was conducted at SLB N Sukoharjo, SLB N Surakarta and SLB N Colomadu. Subjects in this study were six teachers and three principals in the Special School which were used as research sites. Research data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis. The results showed that efforts to improve social skills competencies to prepare for careers of children with special needs in extraordinary schools were carried out through the learning of social science. The social skill material taught is adapted to the child's ability. Barriers that occur in efforts to improve social skills are lack of parental support and a less inclusive social environment. Therefore, they need an effective psychological adjustment to fulfill the responsibility. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of psychological adjustment in elder siblings of a Down syndrome children .  This research was done using narrative qualitative method by interviewing and observing four elder siblings’ of children with Down syndrome. Each participants have different combinations of age-spacing with the Down syndrome children and number of siblings. The result shows some variety of effectiveness of psychological adjustment within each participants. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk membentuk karakter disiplin anak tunagrahita melalui pemberian reward dan punishment pada pelajaran olahraga di SLB Negeri Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah 5 anak tunagrahita kelas 1. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara . Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (a) karakter disiplin anak tunagrahita dapat dibentuk melalui pemberian reward dan punishment (b) perlu adanya kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua dalam pemahaman dan pemberian reward dan punishment secara konsisten agar pembentukan karakter disiplin terus terjaga dan meningkat.
