In this proposal, we exploit the local grid features to build a robust tracker. To improve performance under occlusion, local and global features are modeled for a target tracking. Cooperating with the novel features, a new segmentation and similarity measurement are proposed for exploring the local grid advantages. Experimental results show that our tracker outperforms other two effective visual tracking methods under occlusion.","PeriodicalId":138215,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on Computer Science and Automation Engineering","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125419556","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To overcome the deficiencies, a radial basis meshless domain decomposition algorithm is proposed. It has the advantages of both the radial basis collocation method and the domain decomposition method. The new method can transform the solution to a large-scale problem into the solutions to several small sub-area ones. It effectively reduce the condition numbers of the collocation matrix. It is shown by numerical example that this method improves the stability and accelerates convergence of the numerical solution to parabolic equations.","PeriodicalId":138215,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on Computer Science and Automation Engineering","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126728634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modern logistics need control systems that are able to develop and improve the material and information flow by automating the control processes. We propose the application of linear parameter varying (LPV) structure by which non-linear systems can be controlled on the basis of linear control theories. Describing the system, modeling logistic processes require many uncertain input parameters. Using the proposed method the complexity of the model can be kept on a lower level.","PeriodicalId":138215,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on Computer Science and Automation Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114958368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First of all, the features of the images color and texture will be extracted by using the wavelet transform, then the mutation and gradual shot boundary detection will be achieved by utilizing the information entropy. According to the difference distribution of the sliding window, the local threshold will be calculated dynamically. And the degree of accuracy on the video shot segmentation algorithm is increased. This method can not only detect the mutation shots but also the gradual shots. The experimental results show that this algorithm method can efficiently deal with the video shot segmentation.","PeriodicalId":138215,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on Computer Science and Automation Engineering","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116003954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, we aim at reducing the musical residual noise by a two-stage speech enhancement approach. At the first stage, a noisy speech signal is enhanced by a three-step speech enhancement system which is constituted of two-step noise reduction algorithm and Virag method. Hence the enhanced speech signal is post-processed by a directional-median filter to significantly reduce the amount of residual noise, while the harmonic spectra can be well maintained at an acceptable level. Experimental results show that the proposed approach can significantly improve the performance of a speech enhancement system by reducing the quantity of residual noise.","PeriodicalId":138215,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE International Conference on Computer Science and Automation Engineering","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116386113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
