Population aging is the global population trend development. For a considerable duration, it will remain a fundamental characteristic of China. The issue of ageing is no longer a problem that the elderly and their families need to face. However, this is not only a problem or difficulty that individuals may tackle alone, but rather a matter that requires the collective engagement of the entire society. Communities across the world and specifically China are experiencing major difficulties in the transition in the medical-care-integrated aged care model. This study aims to examine the existing literature on the implementation and effectiveness of the medical-care-integrated aged care model in both China and other countries. Offering a citation for the establishment of the medical-care-integrated aged care paradigm in China. The commonly used the medical-care-integrated aged care model in Chinese include setting up a nursing home in a hospital, setting up a hospital at a long-term care facility for elderly individuals, contractual cooperation between a hospital and a nursing home, and hospital-community-family cooperation model, and conducting a literature review on the research of these four the medical-care-integrated aged care model. The study, which extensively investigates the topic of cultural heritage preservation, modern design integration, and youth engagement, among other things, based on peony fractal motifs in Chinese art and furniture depicts the historical connotation, cultural importance, and practical value. The studies combine qualitative and qualitative methodologies involving literature review, questionnaire survey and case studies. In the end, the competing influence of the two elements, tradition and modernity, for furniture designing is drawn out from the research. The outlined evidence reveals that embracing cultural learning and forging connections between designers and cultural institutions helps to trend-proof traditional motifs into modern designs. Finally, this research project contributes to a fundamental insight regarding the importance of designing furniture that has traditional cultural features not only brings more life to contemporary furniture but also guarantees the passing on of the Chinese cultural legacy in the modern context.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":" 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141677065","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Understanding student acceptance and satisfaction with technology can help optimize educational tools and methods, improve the effectiveness of teaching strategies, and enhance learning outcomes. However, relatively little attention has been paid to students’ learning experiences, including technology acceptan ce and satisfaction. Therefore, the quantitative methodology was used in this research to explore 60 English as a foreign language (EFL) college students’ learning experience through questionnaires. The results showed that students’ technology acceptance w as moderate and some students still faced some barriers when using the software. Furthermore, students had a high level of satisfaction when using the platform. They had a positive attitude towards the effectiveness of teachers’ teaching, but they were less satisfied with the function of the software and its role in improving learning interest. Therefore, cultivating students’ digital literacy is still an issue that needs attention in future education. All parties involved in education are advised to take full advantage of educational technology to improve students’ learning experience in the future.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":" 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141676308","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study used a quantitative research design. It used two types of data : Primary data are used to measure strategic agility through a questionnaire that was distributed to 400 employees, including managers, assistants, and workers at the relevant administrative levels. The secondary data were adopted from the financial statements of the banks between the years 1995-2023 to measure credit risk. The results of this study revealed an impact of resource fluidity and collective commitment on credit risk. This indicates that banks can reduce credit risks if they adopt the correct strategy. At the same time the results of the study did not show any significant effect of strategic sensitivity on credit risk. The limitations include the use of commercial banks only. Future research can include non-financial companies and different sectors in other countries. The practical implications indicate that banks must be rational and justified when making decisions regarding choosing a strategy that suits rapid and sudden changes, to avoid credit risks. In addition, commercial banks should implement strategic agility to achieve comprehensive results. The originality of this study lies in giving insight into strategic agility and credit risk. Therefore, the results of this study have important implications for shareholders, investors, and managers.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":" 15","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141673297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Group work in higher education is a popular teaching strategy due to its ability to engage students and provide meaningful collaborative learning experiences through online and face-to-face learning. Group work allows students to tackle complex tasks that might be challenging to accomplish individually. It promotes the development of critical skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving. The purpose of this research is to explore the implementation of a group work approach in the classroom. The research was determined using a quantitative survey. The model reflects the stages of forming, storming, norming, performing of 107 respondents of undergraduate students studying from three multi disciplines at public university in Malaysia. In this study, all stages were found to have a positive effect on students' group work experience. Additionally, it is also found that there is moderate positive relationship between the stages storming and norming as well as norming and performing. Educators should monitor students as they progress through stages during group work and provide appropriate guidelines to improve the efficacy of group work in the classroom.","PeriodicalId":13768,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"102 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141683760","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Proper translation ensures the preservation of authenticity and accessibility for a global audience. Despite extensive research in other fields, the study of culture-loaded words in Yu opera translation remains scarce, highlighting the need to address this gap. This study employs a comparative analysis of the source text (ST) and target text (TT) to identify the translation strategies used by the translator. Additionally, a semi-structured interview with the translator was conducted to understand the rationale behind the chosen strategies. This dual approach allows for a comprehensive examination of the translation process and the factors influencing strategy selection. Key findings reveal that domestication is more prevalent and effective than foreignization in navigating cultural boundaries. The study highlights that the choice of translation strategy is significantly influenced by both social factors, such as the interests of different parti es, and individual factors, including the translator’s subjectivity.
