Tingkah laku mematuk bulu menimbulkan permasalahan yang berat pada peternakan ayam, sebab tingkah laku ini, bisa mengakibatkan beberapa ayam dalam satu kandang bisa mengalami luka, cacat, dan mati.. Keuntungan potong paruh pada umur lebih muda antara lain ternak lebih mudah dipegang, mengurangi stress, efisiensi pakan lebih baik,mengurangi makan bulu (pickorder), daya hidup akan lebih baik dan pertumbuhan badan lebih seragam. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Ayam Bangkok pengaruh perbandingan block debeaking dan convetional debeaking terhadap pertambahan bobot badan anak ayam bangkok. Penelitian ini di menggunakan DOC ayam bangkok usia 5-7 hari dengan berat 27-36 gram sebanyak 27 ekor. Agri Science Technopark Universitas Islam Lamongan. Materi yang dipakai yakni kambing boerka jantan berjumlah 17 ekor (3 ekor kambing prasapih, 9 ekor lepas sapih, dan 5 ekor kambing dewasa). Variabel yang diamati meliputi berat badan, lingkar dada, tinggi pundak, serta panjang badan. Data yang didapat ditabulasi dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi polynomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan kambing boerka jantan mengikuti kurva sigmoid (S) dengan persamaan regresi polinomial berganda berturut-turut, yaitu : bobot badan y = 0,003x3 - 0,1226x2 + 2,748x + 2,1532; lingkar dada y = -0,1095x² + 3,8853x + 39,898; tinggi pundak y = -0,0358x² + 2,1436x + 41,699; dan panjang badan y = -0,0431x2 + 2,1206x + 43,398. Dengan nilai koefisien determinasi berturut-turut : bobot badan 98,47%, lingkar dada 89,25%, tinggi pundak 92,32%, dan panjang badan 59,88%. Pola pertumbuhan bobot badan serta ukuran tubuh lainnya pada kambing Boerka jantan di UPT. Agri Science Techopark UNISLA mengalami pertumbuhan yang terus meningkat mulai dari umur 0-18 bulan. Hal ini terjadi karena ternak belum mencapai usia tua. Apabila umur ternak semakin tinggi maka bobot badan maupun ukuran tubuh lainnya juga akan bertambah. Nilai koefisien determinasi paling tinggi pada bobot badan 98,47% dan terendah pada panjang badan 59,88%. Perihal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh umur terhadap pola pertumbuhan kambing Boerka jantan di UPT. Burung kicau atau burung hias sangat digemari oleh masyarakat sebab lahan yang dibutuhkan lahan yang cukup luas serta tidak menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan yang secara signifikan di lingkungan. Burung berkicau juga dapat berkicau dengan indah, sehingga dapat dijadikan hiburan bagi masyarakat. Apabila hal tersebut dikelola dan dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal, maka dapat mendapatkan keuntungan secara ekonomis, mampu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat,bahkan memiliki peluang yang cukup besar sebagai ajang bisnis. Tujuan dari enelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui profil peternak Burung Murai Batu serta menganalisis kelayakan usaha budidaya Burung Murai Batu di Desa Binangun. Total biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh peternak pada usaha budidaya Burung Murai Batu sebesar Rp 110.164.000 pendapatan dari usaha budidaya Burung Murai Batu diperoleh dari hasil penjualan anakan burung serta indukan afkir. Total penerimaan yang di terima oleh peternak sebesar Rp. 10.237.792 /bulan. Dari hasil penelitian total keuntungan yang diterima selama 1 tahun adalah Rp. 122.853.500. Hasil analisis kelayakan usaha yang dilakukan dapat diketahui dengan menghitung total biaya modal dibagi keuntungan bersih per bulan, demikian biaya pengembalian modal dapat tercapai selama 10 bulan 8 hari. Berlokasi di UPT. Agri Science Technopark Universitas Islam Lamongan. Materi penelitian adalah 17 ekor kambing Boerka betina, pengambilan sampel berdasarkan umur. Dengan pengukuran berat badan, tinggi bahu, lingkar dada dan panjang badan. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 17 ekor Kambing Boerka betina mulai dari 8 ekor kambing prasapih, 7 ekor kambing lepas sapih dan 2 ekor kambing dewasa. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode puposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 17 ekor Kambing Boerka betina mulai dari Pra-sapih sebanyak 8 ekor, sapih 7 ekor dan dewasa sebanyak 2 ekor. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi polynomial. Gula merah merupakan sumber tambahan energi cepat tersedia bagi itik karna mudah diserap. Penambahan gula merah dalam air minum pada itik akan memperbaiki pertumbuhan maupun daya hidup, dan bertujuan memperbaiki konsumsi pakan, konsumsi air serta pertambahan bobot badan. Materi pada penelitian yakni day old duck (DOD) Peking pedaging berjumlah 80 ekor yang berjenis kelamin tidak dibedakan (Unsex). Metode pada penelitian yakni Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola searah dengan 4 perlakuan serta 4 ulangan. Penambahan level gula merah pada air minum itik diberikan secara berturut-turut yakni P0 = (ransum basal + air minum dengan pemberian gula merah 0%), P1 = (ransum basal + air minum dengan pemberian gula merah 5%), P2 = (ransum basal + air minum dengan pemberian gula merah 10%) dan P3 = (ransum basal + air minum dengan pemberian gula merah 15%) pada itik berumur 0 hari sampai 14 hari. Hasil analisis ragam (ANOVA) memperlihatkan bahwa penambahan level gula merah pada air minum memiliki pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan serta pertambahan bobot badan, namun penambahan level gula merah pada air minum tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rerata konsumsi pakan pada P0 (33,632 gr/ekor/hari), P1 (37,666 gr/ekor/hari), P2 (32,201 gr/ekor/hari) dan P3 (28,938 gr/ekor/hari). Nilai rataan konsumsi air pada P0 (209,393 ml/ekor/hari), P1 (194,955 ml/ekor/hari), P2 (192,670 ml/ekor/hari) dan P3 (196,607 ml/ekor/hari). Nilai rataan pertambahan bobot badan pada P0 (19,905 gr/ekor/hari), P1 (19,658 gr/ekor/hari), P2 (17,256 gr/ekor/hari) dan P3 (16,708 gr/ekor/hari). Selama proses persalinan, DOD rentan mengalami stres akibat dehidrasi, kelaparan, dan akan menyebabkan kematian jika tidak segera ditangani. Oleh karena itu pemberian air gula merah pada DOD yang baru diterima oleh peternak dimaksudkan untuk mengembalikan kondisi tubuh itik yang sedang mengalami stress. Penelitian bertujuan guna mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penambahan kadar gula merah pada air minum terhadap mortalitas itik pedaging fase starter. Metode pada penelitian yakni metode analisis deskriptif RAL ANOVA.. Variabel yang diamati yakni angka kematian pada pakan itik broiler. Analisis data yang digunakan yakni uji Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan gula pada air minum itik pedaging dengan kadar 15% tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap mortalitas, mortalitas tertinggi pada perlakuan penambahan kadar gula merah 15%, sedangkan pada P0 laju mortalitas 5%, pada P1 0%, P2 0% dan P3 15% berpengaruh. The study was carried out in the Laboratory area of the Faculdade de Agricultura Hera, in the municipality of Dili from August 12 to October 16, 2021. The Experimental Method with Latin Square Design was used, consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The variables observed are the productive performance and the economic value of the diet. The treatments applied composed of: T0 (as control), T1, T2, T3, and T4 use fermented by-products with different levels in the diet formulation. The study results showed that there were significant differences (P<0.05) between treatments. The means comparison test revealed that T3 was the best treatment compared to the other treatments. The pigs that received T3 were able to improve intake by about 1238.40g per day with a feed conversion of 2.55 and consumption efficiency of 44.78%. It increases shoulder height by 0.35 cm per day and average daily weight by 510g, in addition to providing high yields in the sale of pork.
