The complex noise-transfer-function (NTF) can be realized with complex coefficients or by implementing the loop as a cascade of complex integrators with only real coefficients, which is desirable due to its lower sensitivity to loop mismatch. In this paper, we will study the effect of different feedback waveforms inside the modulator on the NTF of quadrature sigma delta modulators. We propose transmission power truncation in OFDM-CDMA systems, when the channel power gain is lower than a certain threshold, corresponding bit is not transmitted. The reason is that bits in deep-fading period are highly likely to be in error, and if transmitted would waste the transmission power and generate interference to other users. So truncating these bits' transmission power and redistributing the power resource will reduce the multi-user interference, increase the SINR and improve communication quality. Subchannel truncation is adopted to combat poor channel situations. One way among many that are devised to reduce this delay is multi-channel synchronous delivery. However, the bandwidth efficiency of this method is low. We propose a finite duration method in this paper and build up mathematical models to describe user behaviors like channel surfing to evaluate the performance of channel switch delay. We find through analysis and simulation that our method is well balanced in performance and cost. These LDPC codes defined as the origin LDPC codes are decomposed into a few small LDPC codes as component codes in multilevel coding. It is shown that the origin LDPC codes demand generic M-ary Min-Sum algorithm while the component codes only require a few binary Min-Sum algorithm implementations in multi-stages decoding. The updated experimental evidences reveal that the heavy tailness is the key cause for the self-similar of the network traffic. Future fourth-generation (4G) wireless networks will be characterized by a 3G core network architecture. The multimedia services will be provided to mobile users, the 3G core network will have to support aggregated traffics, exhibiting long range dependent (LRD) and self-similar characteristics, as it occurs in the Internet. We deal with a forecasting method melding three predictors including autoregressive (AR), moving average (MA) and fractional autoregressive integrated moving average (FARIMA) based on alpha-stable innovation for the wireless traffic with long range burstiness according to the minimum dispersion criteria with infinite variance. The final predicted values are obtained by combining the previous three individual predicted values. However the efficiency of the grid system is still required improvement because exchanging certificates and verifying validity are compulsory in the authentication procedure. In this paper, we propose a novel authentication architecture for grid Security (AAGS), which adopts seeded secret key and combine key technique and employs the features of conic curves over the residue class ring Zn into the authentication security, and we give precise definitions of the grid infrastructural protocols for AAGS. In contrast, this paper presents an ultra-wideband 3.1-10.6 GHz low noise amplifier, which can save more power, contribute lower noise figure and provide higher gain by using a noise-canceling technique, current reuse and a single on-chip transformer. The amplifier is implemented in 0.18- mum CMOS technology, and the IC prototype exhibits a small signal gain of 16.3 dB over a -3 dB bandwidth of 3.5-10.4 GHz, and a noise figure of 3.9-5.8 dB in the entire UWB band. In order to overcome the time resolution limitation caused by the relative low sampling rate of the analog- to-digital converter in the baseband signal acquisition system, the Lagrange interpolation is utilized to improve the time resolution. A two-step method for time-delay estimation/alignment is proposed to increase the dynamic range for time-delay estimation/alignment under the certain computation resource consumption condition. The architecture can be also reconfigured any lengths, feedback taps and feedback function. To save the hardware cost and get shorter critical path, we proposed EXCLUSIVE-OR tree network to implement linear feedback function, and put forward AND-OR tree network to optimize nonlinear feedback function. The design has been realized using Altera's FPGA. Synthesis, placement and routing of reconfigurable design have accomplished on 0.18 mum CMOS process. The result proves that the propagation time of reconfigurable feedback shift register with 256 lengths is 3.28ns.
