The aim of this approach is to use a common data environment (CDE) in which the building agenda will be managed throughout the entire construction process, from the initial architectural design to its demolition, with the possibility of access to the data by the professions and participants involved. Selected contexts of BIM and surveying are presented in the paper. In the second part, a practical example of a transport infrastructure construction is used to present the method of converting the classical as-built documentation into BIM. As the construction in question is a reconstruction of a railway station; the requirements and experience of the Railway Administration from pilot projects are considered.\u0000\u0000WYKORZYSTANIE BIM W BUDOWNICTWIE INFRASTRUKTURY TRANSPORTOWEJ W REPUBLICE CZESKIEJ\u0000\u0000Modelowanie Informacji o Budynku (ang. Celem tego podejścia jest wykorzystanie wspólnego środowiska danych (ang. common data environment – CDE), gdzie zagadnienie budowli będzie rozpatrywane przez cały czas – od projektu architektonicznego do jej rozbiórki, z możliwością dostępu do danych przez profesjonalistów i wszystkich, których to dotyczy. W pracy przedstawiono wybrane konteksty BIM i pomiarów geodezyjnych. W drugiej części przedstawiono przykład budowli związanej z infrastrukturą transportu, aby pokazać metodę zamiany klasycznej dokumentacji budowlanej w BIM. It becomes necessary to save water. There are many forms of saving water by protecting its resources, e.g. limiting leaks (generating water losses) both in the installation and on the water supply network, limiting unreasonable needs (e.g. multiple use of packaging or other objects), use of rainwater. The article presents the possibilities offered by the metering of the entire water supply network and water consumption at consumers. For the assumed zone supplying a housing estate inhabited by about 2,200 people, the coefficient of unavoidable losses was determined.\u0000\u0000\u0000REDUKCJA STRAT WODY JAKO NARZĘDZIE DO OCHRONY ZASOBÓW WODNYCH\u0000Zużycie wody stale się zwiększa, głównie z powodu wzrostu liczby ludności, a zasoby niestety się kurczą. Wiele jest form oszczędzania wody chroniąc jej zasoby, np. ograniczenie wycieków (generujących straty wody), zarówno w instalacji, jak i na sieci wodociągowej, ograniczenie nieracjonalnych potrzeb (np. wielokrotne wykorzystanie opakowań lub innych przedmiotów), wykorzystanie wód opadowych. W artykule przedstawiono możliwości, jakie daje opomiarowanie całej sieci wodociągowej oraz zużycia wody u odbiorców. The availability of photogrammetric methods (terrestrial and airborne measurements) caused that they are widely applied in monitoring of various objects subdued to the external (i.e., atmospheric) factors (rain, wind, temperature), mining (influence of underground mining). This also refers to natural terrain surface affected by mass movements and artificial earth constructions (mounds, spoil tips, dikes, road and rail embankments), the changes of which can threaten stability and pose threat to objects situated in these areas/objects and their users. There are many methods of getting spatial data and their processing, allowing the interpretation of geological threats. The article presents the measurement and interpretation model of the changes of artificially formed area with the historic Wanda Mound in Krakow with the use of robotic station SPS 930 Trimble and active signal MT 1000 and program AutoCAD v. 2021 (splines Coons patches). In the article it was shown that applying a limited number of the data set elements in a definite geometric system and the same measurement technology in the studied period of the analysis (2013–2022), it is possible to record and graphically interpretate changes on the surface of an earth mound, manifested in the phenomenon of ground creep, even in case of small values.\u0000\u0000INFORMATYCZNE I GEODEZYJNE TECHNOLOGIE W MODELOWANIU GEOZAGROŻEŃ ZABYTKOWYCH OBIEKTÓW ANTROPOGENICZNYCH NA PRZYKŁADZIE KOPCA WANDY W KRAKOWIE\u0000\u0000Rozwój narzędzi geodezyjnych i informatycznych przyczynił się w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu do wzbogacenia metod pomiarowych i interpretacyjnych oraz wizualizacji różnego rodzaju obiektów pochodzenia antropogenicznego oraz naturalnego, które podlegają deformacjom w czasie. Dostępność metod fotogrametrycznych (pomiary naziemne i lotnicze) sprawiła, że wykorzystywane są one powszechnie do monitoringu różnego rodzaju obiektów poddanych oddziaływaniu czynników zewnętrznych, tj. atmosferycznych (deszcz, wiatr, temperatura), górniczych (wpływ podziemnej eksploatacji górniczej). The National Institute of Cultural Heritage (NID in Polish) sets out the general rules for the development of site plans, which are the part of the archaeological field work documentation. However, NID does not define standards for the development of plans with the use of geoinformation technology. The paper presents some aspects of a digital site plan elaboration. The goal is also to demonstrate how to implement the solution in a Geographical Information System (GIS) application, using the example of QGIS software. On one hand, the solution proposed in this study is in line with the Polish archaeological nomenclature and gives the possibility to take into account data dependencies between sites located in different parts of the country. On the other hand, the proposed system of raw material and found codes may also be used to analyze concepts and phenomena covering an area beyond current national borders (e.g. the Amber Route based on fossil resin from the Baltic region). The description of the proposed archaeological site data model in Unified Modelling Language notation creates great implementation capabilities in any GIS and Database Management System environments. Standardization in the area of digital archaeological documentation and the use of common data structures may extend the possibilities of analysis and interpretation of research results both in the micro (e.g., urban) and macro scale (e.g., international). STANDARDYZACJA CYFROWYCH PLANÓW STANOWISK ARCHEOLOGICZNYCH W POLSCE Na przełomie ery analogowej i cyfrowej w archeologii, w Polsce, dalej w przewadze jest ta pierwsza. Narodowy Instytut Dziedzictwa zdefiniował ogólne reguły wykonywania planów stanowisk archeologicznych, które mają być przedstawione w dokumentacji z prac archeologicznych. Wytyczne NID nie definiują jednak, jak ma wyglądać standaryzacja poszczególnych elementów, w przypadku wykonywania opracowań za pomocą technologii geoinformacyjnej. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia wybrane aspekty opracowania cyfrowego planu stanowiska archeologicznego. Celem szczegółowym jest zaprezentowanie sposobu wdrożenia rozwiązania w systemach informacji geograficznej (GIS) na przykładzie QGIS. Opracowana koncepcja, zgodna z polską nomenklaturą archeologiczną, daje możliwość zintegrowania danych między stanowiskami w różnych częściach kraju. Proponowany system kodów surowców i zabytków mógłby mieć także zastosowanie przy analizie koncepcji i zjawisk obejmujących zasięgiem obszar wykraczający poza współczesne granice państw (np. Eckes","doi":"10.4467/21995923gp.22.009.17087","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4467/21995923gp.22.009.17087","url":null,"abstract":"In a democratic country, every citizen has the right to information about the environment in which he or she lives – therefore, there should be some procedure of conventional, formal evaluation of an urbanized area with reference to its local fragments. Such kind of the procedure has been proposed in this article. The procedure is based on the conventional scoring of local areas, which can be assigned weights representing positive and negative features. The procedure provides for variants of preconditions and continuation of considerations for source data variables. The method of assessing the quality of life in the local area should serve the broad local community, therefore the intermediate and final results of the considerations are presented not only in the form of maps, but also in an illustrative way – in the form of three-dimensional (3D) images, with colors easily associated with positive or negative features. A wide range of tools from the professional GIS package – ArcGIS version 10 was used to perform the task. These tools allow to solve complex spatial problems as well as to visualize the results in an effective way.\u0000\u0000ZASTOSOWANIE GIS DO OCENY JAKOŚCI ŻYCIA MIESZKAŃCÓW NA TERENACH ZURBANIZOWANYCH\u0000\u0000W kraju demokratycznym obywatel ma prawo do informacji o środowisku, w którym żyje – dlatego powinna istnieć procedura umownej, formalnej oceny terenu zurbanizowanego z wyróżnieniem jego lokalnych fragmentów. Przykładowy algorytm postępowania został zaproponowany w niniejszym artykule. Propozycja bazuje na umownej punktacji lokalnych obszarów, którym można przyporządkowywać wagi reprezentujące cechy pozytywne i negatywne. Algorytm przewiduje wariantowanie warunków wstępnych i kontynuację rozważań dla zmiennych danych źródłowych. Metoda oceny jakości życia w lokalnym obszarze powinna służyć szerokiej społeczności lokalnej, dlatego wyniki pośrednie i końcowe rozważań przedstawiono nie tylko w postaci map, lecz także w sposób poglądowy – jako obrazy trójwymiarowe (3D), z barwami łatwo kojarzonymi z cechami pozytywnymi lub negatywnymi warunków lokalnych. Do realizacji zadania wykorzystano szeroką gamę narzędzi profesjonalnego pakietu GIS – systemu ArcGIS. Mierzejowska","doi":"10.4467/21995923gp.21.001.14972","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4467/21995923gp.21.001.14972","url":null,"abstract":"In order to implement the provisions of the INSPIRE Directive, it is necessary for the Member States of the European Union to take appropriate measures to enable combining in a uniform manner spatial data deriving from different sources and sharing use of them by many users and many applications. Spatial data regarding underground hard coal mining in Poland should also be available in the national spatial reference system. Mining enterprises run a cartographic resource in the different rectangular flat coordinate systems. The standard transformation procedure does not provide the required accuracy because these are areas affected by mining activity, and the stability of points is limited, hence, studies were undertaken. The result is the development of software that can be used in Geographic Information Systems to transform spatial data from a system used in mine to the national system. The article described shortly a chosen coordinates systems used in Polish underground mines, elaborated procedure for selection of the degree and the type of a transformation polynomial in the transformation task. Cichociński","doi":"10.4467/21995923gp.21.007.14978","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4467/21995923gp.21.007.14978","url":null,"abstract":"For several years GIS software users could use for any purpose a dataset being to some extent an alternative to both products offered by commercial providers and official databases. It is OpenStreetMap (OSM for short) – a worldwide spatial dataset, created and edited by interested individuals and available for use by anyone with no limitations. It is built on the basis of data recorded with consumer grade GPS receivers, obtained through vectorization of aerial photographs and from other usable sources, including even sketches made in the field. The collected information is stored in a central database, the content of which is not only presented on the website as a digital map, but also offered for download as vector data. Such data can be used for, among other things, performing various analyses based on road networks, of which the most frequently used is the function of determining the optimal route connecting selected locations. The results of such analyses can only be considered reliable if the data used are of adequate quality. As the OSM database is built by enthusiasts, no plans for its systematic development are formulated and there are no built-in quality control mechanisms. Therefore, the paper proposes methods and tools to verify the usefulness of the data collected so far, as well as to correct detected errors. It focuses on the following categories of geographic data quality: location accuracy, topological consistency and temporal validity. In addition, a problem with determining the length of individual road network segments was noticed, related to data acquisition methods and ways of recording the shape of lines. Therefore, in order to carry out the so-called route calibration, it was suggested to use kilometer and hectometer posts used in transportation networks, the locations of which are successively added to the OSM database.\u0000\u0000BADANIE UŻYTECZNOŚCI OTWARTYCH DANYCH PRZESTRZENNYCH DO ANALIZ OPARTYCH NA SIECIACH DROGOWYCH – NA PRZYKŁADZIE OPENSTREETMAP\u0000\u0000Od kilkunastu już lat użytkownicy oprogramowania GIS mogą używać do dowolnych celów zbioru danych będącego do pewnego stopnia alternatywą zarówno dla produktów oferowanych przez dostawców komercyjnych, jak i urzędowych baz danych. Since the 1990s, several modelling techniques have been developed: based on points, meshes, areas outlined on meshes, regions grouping areas with a similar structure. The most effective of them have been used in modern software, but their implementations differ significantly. The most important differences concern the accuracy of modelling, especially places with rapid shape changes, including edges. The differences also affect the mathematical complexity of the created model (the number of unknowns) and the time of its development. These factors contribute to the effectiveness of modelling. Some methods work fully automatically, others allow manual selection of certain parameters, there are also methods that require full manual control. Their selection and application is greatly affected by the user’s intuition and knowledge in the field of creating such surfaces. This study tested the influence of the above factors on the modelling efficiency. A total of six methods of creating spline surfaces were analysed in three software packages of different classes: Geomagic Design X, Solidworks and RhinoResurf. The analyses were carried out on a shell structure of complex shape, consisting of seven patches separated by edges. The created models were assessed in terms of their accuracy of fitting into the point cloud. Additionally, the complexity of the model expressed in the number of control points and the time of its development were determined. The results confirmed the validity of the four methods in terms of model fitting accuracy. The best results were achieved using the semi-automatic method in the most advanced software package and the manual method in the simplest package. This has confirmed the great importance of user experience in terms of theoretical properties of spline functions. Innovative mathematical structures for the modeling of hazard field emission were developed as strong solutions to partial differential equations in R3+1. Moreover, a stochastic equation in L2(Ω) (probabilistic space) was defined and applied as a model that takes into account the randomness of the process. Monitoring of a mining area based on solutions in the GNSS technology and classical geodesy supports the analysis of topological transformations of a given subspace. The data was archived and stored in digital form and then analyzed in many ways. The quality of the representation (measurements and modeling) was estimated with the use of incremental statistics. Thus, obtained distributions of density function are not ranked as normal distribution. Open-cast mining of common minerals, i.e., sand, gravel, loam, basic minerals such as lignite, sulphur and fossil resins of coniferous trees (amber) leaves many excavations, which spontaneously get filled with precipitation waters, black waters (the ones near the surface) and ground waters (deeper underground), often making new and wonderful elements of local landscape. Till the time of political transformations in Poland, due to low awareness of proper reclamation of post-mining areas, few post-mining excavations that spontaneously filled with water were subdued to comprehensive inventory, surveying and geological documentation, which is a necessary condition for their safe use. Examples of such objects are Bagry and Staw Płaszowski in Kraków (mining of loam (clay), sand and gravel), which have undergone full surveying inventory, including bathymetric surveying, only several decades after the end of mining (Gawałkiewicz R., Maciaszek J., 1999; Gawałkiewicz R., 2017; Gawałkiewicz R., 2018a and Gawałkiewicz R., 2018b), despite being the property of the city of Cracow for many years and functioning as sports and recreational, natural (ecological) and economical (fishing facilities) spots. A worth mentioning body of water is the reservoir “Piaseczno” (the commune of Łoniów, the Sandomierz District), now classified as a part of a group of reservoirs with medium retention and has been created after the opencast exploitation of sulphur ended. Despite many years of reclamation measures (shallowing by washing glass sands to the reservoir) and due to the great risk of danger (local landslides, unstable ground in the costal zones, artificially maintained level of the water table) the Łoniów commune did not approve this reservoir to use; and nowadays, the reservoir is not suitable for any form of use. The only function that can be fulfilled is ecological function. In the article the results of the complex geodetic (littoral zone) and hydrographic (body of water) inventory are presented. It was possible owing to the use of the remote-controlled HyDrone produced by Seeflor Systems and equipped with a SonarMite BTX/SPX OHMEX ultrasonic sonar by Lymtech and a GNSS set by Trimble (R8s antenna + TSC3 controller) and biological inventory in the littoral zone. Detailed morphometric parameters of the reservoir were also noted based on the integrated geodetic and bathymetric measurements, which in the future may provide valuable data used in the process of adapting the analyzed area for various socio-economical purposes, while maintaining a high degree of safety of its use.\u0000\u0000ZLIKWIDOWANA KOPALNIA SIARKI „PIASECZNO” – cz. 2.
