Therefore, developers have come to realize the need for more reliable and efficient agent-oriented software development processes (methodologies) which address the specific needs of each and every project. Software Process Lines provide a solution to this problem by using Process Line Engineering concepts for instantiating bespoke software processes. This research focuses on developing a software process line for Requirements Engineering (RE) in the context of agent-oriented software development. Our proposed Agent-Oriented Requirements Engineering Process Line (AOREPL) incorporates a core base which can be directly used for instantiating an Agent-Oriented Requirements Engineering (AORE) process; it also defines variation points and variant method chunks to be added to the core base in order to create variant AORE processes. We also propose a step-by-step process line engineering method which enables process engineers to define and instantiate diverse AORE process lines.","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121822111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Seeing students as “customers” increases a dialogue-based relationship between universities and students having a positive impact on students' satisfaction. And students' satisfaction has a significant positive effect on their loyalty which even can promote their success. In order to increase students' satisfaction with their university, in this paper we propose a mobile application Fer Droid that can be used for data aggregation from different student information systems. Our application saves students' precious time leaving them more time for other activities (e.g. studying, training and dating). We made both subjective (using students' surveys) and objective analyses of Fer Droid and concluded that students are more satisfied and can retrieve information much quicker when using our solution than when using complex web pages on phones.","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"131 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115966557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, management and controlling the RDB-RDF mapping process is a challengeable task because of the rapid change in the massive amount of data which is collected from a diverse huge number of providers and vendors. In this work, a RDB-RDF Management Framework is suggested to automatically manage and monitor the mapping process from relational to semantic data. The proposed framework includes a set of Data Handlers and Web services (WSs) in order to improve the Web environment interoperability and reliability. Specifically, three sets of services are established and consumed to handle and organize the mapping process. One set of the three suggested services is operating and acting like an intelligent agent to continuously sensing the change that might occur at the relational data storage side with respect to three different levels: schema, relation and data. Finally, the implementation and particular case study of the suggested framework are introduced and discussed.","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122303189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, most of these systems are depending on either fixed or remotely controlled narrow angle cameras. When using the former, the area of coverage is extremely limited, while utilizing the latter leads to high failure rates and troubles in camera calibration. In this paper, a method of extracting multiple perspective views from a single omnidirectional image for realtime environments is proposed. An example application of a ceiling-mounted camera setup is used to show the functional principle. Furthermore a performance improvement strategy is both presented and evaluated.","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"9 7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125677554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The azimuth and pitch position control are carried out using a MIMO control system structure with two control loops, one for each position, and two decoupling controllers. The initial controller design is based on zero cross-coupling between the two control loops; therefore, the azimuth and pitch controllers are tuned in terms of the Modulus Optimum method and the initial transfer functions of the two decoupling controllers are zero. An IFT algorithm is applied to tune the four controllers in order to ensure the control system performance improvement by the experiment-based iterative solving of a model reference tracking optimization problem. A set of experimental results is given to show the strong performance improvement after few IFT algorithm iterations.","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126714000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Choice of additional criteria for optimal power system expansion depends on several indicators like number of congested hours, congestion costs, maximization of social welfare, complex and simple investment indicator, optimization of the distribution of transmission capacities among the different timeframes, improved security of supply and others. It is possible to use combination of incentive schemes into one index for cross-border trade. Methodology of risk calculation for few trading areas includes use of financial transmission rights (FTR) like weighted average of prices for several areas, respectively. An FTR relates to a zone-to-zone transaction, without having to specify by what route the electricity travels from one zone to the other. This benefits both the Transmission System Operator (TSO) in being able better to calculate ATC (Available Transmission Capacity), and the user, as not having to worry about the specific route either. A market in financial derivatives organized by third parties can offer cross-border hedging possibilities for market participants like CfD (Contract for Differences).","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126111822","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the other hand, wind energy as an alternative to thermal power plants is a clean source of energy that produces no greenhouse gas emissions, wastewaters and solid waste, and last but not least, there is no fuel requirement for WindPark. The percentage of participation of RES in the total consumption of final energy by 2020 in Macedonia should be equal to 21%. Following the principle of the promotion of sustainable regional and environmental development as direct implementation of EU policies, the aim of the study presented in this paper is to deliver a framework for spatial planning and sustainable development by detecting the potential areas for investment in wind energy sources. The study presented in this paper promotes eight potential locations for building of wind parks, presents the requirements and procedures to local and international investors, and facilitates the building of wind parks in a very short time. The evaluation of the impact analyses that wind parks may have on the environment and to offer possible mitigation techniques, this study presents the results of the detailed analysis for selection of potential locations for building of wind parks by mapping of: potential number of wind generators on selected wind parks sites; locations of neighbouring objects which might cause interaction and the effect of cumulative influence; the impact of sound emission (in terms of loudness) to local population; energy connection to existing or new energy infrastructure (layout of lines, location of substations); ground transportation and traffic infrastructure; geological aspects (terrain stability, erosion of the soil); seismological activity of the terrain, conformity of urban planning with respect to protection of natural disasters, protection of cultural and historic heritage; touristic regions, zones and locations; biological diversity including the fatalities of birds and bats from collisions with wind turbines; etc. In addition, software Arc GIS is applied also for analysis of the crossing points with respect to the existing and planned transmission power lines on 110 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV, but also with proposed oil-pipeline AMBO, constructed oil-pipeline Thessaloniki-Skopje, new proposed route of the pipeline, by applying safety measures and minimum allowed distance.","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126517664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The possibility to supply it through N independent inverters makes it attractive especially when high power and reliability are required. So far, the dq0 refeence frame representation, originally introduced for three-phase machines, has been applied in detail to split-phase configurations in the N=2 case only. In this paper, the extension to an arbitrary number of stator sets is investigated from an analytical viewpoint. In particular, the paper shows that when N exceeds two, the d-axis and q-axis stator voltage equations are no more decoupled, in general, as it happens for N=1 and N=2. Such d-q cross-coupling is explained in terms of mutual leakage inductances, regardless of possible rotor saliencies and magnetic saturation. The implications of these results in terms of equivalent circuit representation will be presented in a companion paper (Part II).","PeriodicalId":136720,"journal":{"name":"Eurocon 2013","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132487314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
