Most of the pavement rehabilitations make use traditional measuring methods and techniques to reconstruct pavement layers therefore they cannot achieve a required accuracy. These rehabilitations are realized with higher values of deviations than permitted. However, a new proposed methodology of the pavement rehabilitation which uses a 3D measuring can remove or reduce some problems relate to accuracy. Thus, we can improve quality of the whole pavement rehabilitation process and we can achieve required accuracy. During individual phases of the pavement rehabilitation detailed 3D digital models of a road surface are created owing to the 3D measuring. It allows to perform the pavement rehabilitation in the way of principles of Industry 4.0 which relates to the Smart City.","PeriodicalId":135085,"journal":{"name":"2019 Smart City Symposium Prague (SCSP)","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131601408","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system was developed by integrating web geographic information systems (Web-GIS), social networking service (SNS) as well as recommendation system into a single system. The system used the non-language information such as signs, marks and pictograms in addition to English information, and displayed sightseeing spot information and conduct navigation on 2D and 3D digital maps of the Web-GIS. The system was operated for two weeks in the central part of Yokohama City in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and the total number of users was 54. Based on the results of the web questionnaire survey, all of the specific functions are highly evaluated, and the usefulness of the system when sightseeing was excellent. From the results of the access analysis of users’ log data, it is evident that the system was mainly used before sightseeing and users confirmed their favorite sightseeing spots and made their tour planning in advance, using 2D and 3D digital maps.","PeriodicalId":135085,"journal":{"name":"2019 Smart City Symposium Prague (SCSP)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131986515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Influencing travel behavior or changing travel patterns (for example by motivating travelers to use alternative travel modes) has the potential to lower congestions and thus significantly affect the quality of life as well as the environment – the key objectives of smart city projects and initiatives.This paper provides a review of existing research into data collection methods dealing with the topic of travel behavior, mainly with changes towards using alternative travel modes. First, a theoretical classification of survey methods is provided. Next, their advantages and limitations are demonstrated on real-world examples. Finally, the findings of this analysis are formulated into recommendations for new research into the potential of smart city measures to influence transport behavior in the Ustí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic.","PeriodicalId":135085,"journal":{"name":"2019 Smart City Symposium Prague (SCSP)","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125618551","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
