K-means clustering is the most well-known and widely used clustering algorithm. While data become large in terms of volume, the needs of high performance computing (HPC) to perform data clustering is raising. One of the solutions with compromised budget but high efficiency is to utilize highly parallel architecture of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). In this research, k-means clustering algorithm is implemented on GPU and optimized by exploiting instruction level parallelism (ILP) at low occupancy. ILP on k-means clustering algorithm is achieved by running a number of independent instruction per thread i.e. when calculating distance or sum of data in each cluster. By loading more works into thread at lower occupancy, the higher utilization can be achieved. Experiment on clustering several data shows that the proposed method can speed up k-means clustering several times faster than other parallelized k-means clustering and k-means implementation on CPU.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121794321","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to lack of supervision and family support to rehabilitate stroke patients, the number of deaths caused by stroke is increasing. Its because stroke is a neurological disorder that takes a long rehabilitation to get motor skill acquisition for each patient. For those whose goals are to walk again, having physiotherapists help is the way to do so. Unfortunately, there has not been a tool in physiotherapy to conduct medical records measuring travel and mileage of the patient walking outdoor. It is needed for further physiotherapists analysis and recommendation. In this study, we proposed a model called Colenak. It is proposed a Global Positioning System(GPS) tracking model to record the walking (physio)therapy of the stroke patients. This model combines the use of Advance Encryption Stanford (AES) Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode and Quick Response (QR) Code. Advance Encryption Standard (AES) CBC algorithm is applied to encrypt the URL. While Uniform Resource Locator (URL)s are known only to patients given QR Code, the QR code will be created based on patient identification and physiotherapy system encrypted along with the URL. By using GPS, the stroke patients who are practicing to walk can be tracked and the tracking result of each patient is expected to support the advance physiotherapy method within this model of physiotherapy.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127025519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some online shop owners use Instagram to show their products and also use its comment section to communicate with their customers. A system that can classify Instagram comment automatically based on its response surely will help online shop owners to respond all various comments without having to read all of the comments. Thus, this study was conducted to find the best method to classify Instagram comment using statistical approach. In general, the system created in this study is divided into 4 components namely pre-process, feature extraction, feature selection, and classification. We compared several techniques in each component. In feature extraction, we compared lexical approaches (unigram) and word embedding approaches. As for the learning algorithm, we compared support vector machine (SVM) and convolutional neural network (CNN). The effect of pre-process and feature selection is also investigated in this study. The preprocess done in this study is basic pre-process, mention conversion, punctuation conversion, emoticon conversion, number conversion, formalization and region name conversion. The data used in this study is 2810 Instagram comments which have been labelled with 3 kinds of responses namely “answered”, “read”, and “ignored”. Using 10-fold cross validation, we conducted 3 experiment types, such as the baseline, pre-process, and word embedding. Baseline was done by using SVM as learning algorithm and unigram as feature. Pre-process experiment was done by adding pre-processing and feature selection to baseline. Word embedding experiment was done by using word embedding as feature and SVM or CNN as learning algorithm. The best result in this study was obtained from word embedding experiment using word embedding as feature representation, CNN as learning algorithm, and pre-processed model data with accuracy of 84.23%.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133060736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many researchers mentioned that handwriting recognition using deep learning technique has lead to achieve higher accuracy compared to conventional machine learning techniques. Handwriting character recognition using deep learning has been impalement in Latin, Chinese, Arabic, Persian, and Bangla Character. As for the object of Javanese character is still not much encroached. Since the Javanese Classical Manuscripts contain a variety of scientific treasures that can be taken up in order to be preserved as a valuable heritage possessed from Indonesia. Therefore, in this study, the Javanese character Recognition is applied using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). CNN is one type of discriminative deep-learning model that is widely used for classification based on supervised learning. CNN method is a very powerful deep learning technique in completing its task to perform data classification with image dataset as an input, because it utilizes pixel neighbor information in feature extraction process with convolution and pooling operation between inputs and kernel. The data than classify using softmax to determine its class based on its features. From the experimental results obtained that the discriminative model of deep learning has confirmed to recognize 20 basic Javanese character with the accuracy 94.57 %.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133414559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Indonesia the flood disaster has become one of the highest natural disasters in each year. To prevent flooding disaster is still done in conventional ways. One of them by building dams in the river to control the flow of water. However, the high intensity of rainfall, and the absence of soil absorption can result the volume of water in the dam exceed of capacity. In the conventional ways on every dam there is an officer who controls the water level directly. This way of direct observation is very inefficient and officers should always be in place. If the condition of water volume increases suddenly and the officer is not there, the flood information is not quickly conveyed. So that appropriate technology is needed in order to solve the problem. The ESP8266 is a micro controller with minimum power consumption. The ESP8266 also has wireless tools which can be integrated with internet networks. This ability makes the data sensors can be sent web servers and smart phone applications to inform the flooding alert.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134180949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One advantage of direct conversion is a simple architecture and cheaper than other receiver architecture. This architecture was implemented on FMCW radar for a navigation system which developed by P2ET-LIPI since 2016. One problem of direct conversion is I/Q imbalance. I/Q imbalance occurs when I/Q signal have different amplitude and phase. I/Q imbalance will produce image/mirror signal after FFT processing and it will be detected as a target of radar. The trigonometric function has been implemented to reducing I/Q imbalance by correcting amplitude and phase. This algorithm developed using Visual C# 2015 Community Edition. The algorithm consists of dc removal function, amplitude correction, and phase correction. The experiment shows that the algorithm has good performance at higher SNR to correcting I/Q imbalance.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129971922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This Humanoid robot is used to solve the problem in the direct pass during moving ball in the technical challenge RoboCup Competition. This paper will explain about the implementation of direct pass strategy during moving the ball into “T-FloW” humanoid robot. Direct pass strategy is splitting into 3 step. The first step is how to calculate and predict the position, speed, and acceleration during ball movement by using camera vision strategy. The second step is how to doing kick motion when the ball is approaching the foot based on the position, speed, and acceleration from the first step. The third step is the main strategy to combine the first and second step. Based on the experiment result, the success to pass the ball is 80%. The kicking locomotion is not fast enough. Perhaps in next research, the kicking locomotion will be made with fully efficient and faster than before.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"2016 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127523706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It can be a basic information to make appropriate mitigation plan. In the present study, we propose ensemble fuzzy clustering to produce the landslide susceptibility map for Ponorogo. The mapping process is based on five factors which play a dominant role in the occurrence of landslide. The factors are rainfall, land use, slope angle, geology, and elevation. As a result, from 316 areas in Ponorogo, 202 areas were mapped in very low level, 94 areas in medium level and 20 areas in the high level of vulnerability. Finally, the validation of landslide susceptibility map was carried out using Pearson's chi-square test. The chi-square value shows higher value than the critical value. It shows that the model has good accuracy in predicting the landslide susceptibility in Ponorogo. The map was visualized on web-based to make it easier to use and can be used for mitigation activities.","PeriodicalId":130873,"journal":{"name":"2017 2nd International conferences on Information Technology, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering (ICITISEE)","volume":"204 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114661393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
