Optical spectra of ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared light were recorded. The results of electrical strength measurements for admixtures for several weight concentrations are presented. The analysis of spectrum distribution into individual ranges was done and a possible explanation of increase in electrical strength of nanofluids and change of spectral range in relation to pure electroinsulating liquid was proposed. Natural ester Midel 1204 was doped with iron nanopowder in hydrophobic carbon shells. The electrical strength pattern was observed for some combinations and the shift of the optical spectrum from the visible range for the pure liquid to the ultraviolet range for the mixtures was observed.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123162699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, qualitative and quantitative detection of metallic ions in aquaponic environments has been of interest. Impedimetric sensors are attractive for ease of preparation, low cost, and high sensitivity. In this paper, we present an impedimetric interdigitated electrode array for the determination of K(I), Ca(II), and Mg(II) based on functionalized PEDOT:PSS. We optimize the parameters for sensor fabrication, demonstrate the impedance characteristics and ion response properties of functionalized PEDOT:PSS, and use a hybrid algorithm to realize the classification of the array signal. It was found that the heating temperature and the number of coating layers significantly affect the conductivity of the sensor. We made the calibration curves of PEDOT:PSS/CuPc towards the ions at the concentration range of 1 – 10 mM. The different functionalized PEDOT:PSS exhibited verified selectivity for metallic ions. The PCA-SVM algorithm was employed as a classification model to identify metallic ions in liquids effectively","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131929531","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, its low oxidation resistance limits its application in some harsh conditions. Nanotechnology, understood as doping by the nanoparticles the fresh insulating oil, are considered as field for improving the parameters of oil. To investigate the effect of nano-fillers on the oxidation stability of natural ester insulating oil, Envirotemp FR3 commercial natural ester doped by POSS (polysesquioxane) was prepared, and the impact of POSS on the oxidation resistance of natural ester was investigated by experiments. The effect of POSS on the activation energy of the natural ester insulating oil at different temperatures was calculated, and the diffusion characteristics of oxygen molecules in the considered liquid modified by POSS were studied. Results show that the oxidation stability of the natural ester insulating oil was significantly enhanced with aids of POSS.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115544323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is particularly advantageous in the medical industry due to the processing potential of titanium-based biocompatible alloys. This allows the manufacture of implants with geometries that are not possible to produce with conventional methods. One of the biggest disadvantages of 3D printing is the surface of the print with high roughness and support structures that must be removed after the production process. In order to improve these parameters, mechanical processing is usually used, which is very time-consuming and does not allow the element to be processed in hard-to-reach places. The article presents an innovative method of surface finishing and removal of support structures of elements printed using Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technology with the use of a bath in HF / HNO3 solution assisted by ultrasound. The influence of the process parameters on the surface quality and material loss were presented, and the parameters of the fatigue strength of the printed samples were compared: as printed, after additional turning, and after using the ultrasonic surface finishing method. The results showed that with the use of the above-mentioned technology, the fatigue strength of the material increases significantly due to the reduction of surface roughness.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125355701","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The layer thickness is between 100 nm and dozen of micrometers. There are different methods of heating multilayered materials: resistive heating, using a furnace, induction heating. In the paper, the induction heating of a layered material was investigated. Both simulations and measurements were carried out. In order to increase the precision of relatively high temperature measurement (over thousand of Kelvin), three different measuring methods were used and compared with each other: infrared camera, pyrometer, thermocouple. Additionally, for better understanding of phenomena occurring in the materials, a complex numerical model was created and verified experimentally. The model was made based on finite element method - a coupled electromagnetic field with thermal and fluid ones were implemented. For the fluid analysis the CFD software was used. The obtained results show a good conformity between calculations and measurements.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131453558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The friction of cartilage surfaces generates vibrations and acoustic sounds. Vibroarthrography is a non-invasive method of analysing registered mechanical vibrations. The authors compare the six descriptors including the standard and the proposed ones based on selected frequencies and processing spectrogram results. The paper provides effectiveness analysis of descriptors in two diagnostic cases: the healthy knee group (66 signals) vs the first stage chondromalacia (26 signals) and the third stage chondromalacia (36 signals) vs the osteoarthritis (26 signals). The effectiveness is assessed using the overlap coefficient. The paper indicates the descriptors with the highest diagnostic potential for classification accuracy.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"137 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127298437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Of these, humidity, temperature and pressure are the most important. This paper explores the performance of four nanomaterials- VO2, WO3, SnO2 and Co-ZnO- in four prototype breath analysers on the detection of acetone and ethanol with the sensing materials harnessed around the patented LAteral Gate with Inter-Digitated Drain-Source Field Effect Transistor (LAGIDDSFET). In particular, in terms of operating temperature and the ability to show visible peaks in the LAGIDDSFET's drain-current-gate-voltage characteristics in acetone, it is found that the VO2-based breath analyser outperforms the rest of the materials. Since acetone and air (mainly oxygen) are reducing and oxidising atmospheres respectively, an interesting competition between these two atmospheres at a gate voltage of −10 V are observed with consequential deletion of the −10 V peak when acetone concentrations increase. Sensor operating temperature and the ambient temperature in the chamber are found to shift the critical gate voltages to lower absolute values, humidity shifts the critical gate voltages to higher voltages whereas pressure has very little effect in these shifts.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"298 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131439287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents the Abraham Savitzky and Marcel J. E. Golay filtration (Savitzky-Golay, SG) and the ECG-derived respiration (EDR) method for extracting the respiratory waves and determining the respiratory rate from clear electrocardiographic signals. Studies have shown that the method accuracy of detecting the respiratory activity is dependent on many factors, including the appropriate ECG lead (L1-L12), body mass index (BMI), gender, age, and lung parameters. In order to maintain the best efficiency of the method, its selection should be adapted to the patient's profile.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"635 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123334752","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The cores are made of nanostructures. After three-dimensional field analysis in the above-mentioned cores, the integral parameters of the field were determined. They differ from the catalog ones. Manufacturers do not provide the values of electrical conductivity and magnetic permeability in a wide range of the flux density values and operating frequencies. Particularly, this applies the electrical conductivities of the solid core, which are necessary for correct determination of eddy current losses. The original implicit iterative algorithm for calculation of the conductivity values under given operating frequencies was developed and presented. The calculated magnetic core losses have been tested for such solid materials as the magnetically soft composite (SMC) called Somaloy and for a ferrite. Good compliance of the calculated hysteresis losses and the eddy current ones with the measured values was obtained.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130665685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

FFF is a low-cost additive manufacturing method for 3D printing using thermoplastic filaments. The principle of 3D FFF printing is based on sequential stacking quasi two-dimensional layers on the printer bed to produce three-dimensional objects. One of the main challenges of FFF printing technology is the first layer problem. Achieving the assumed height and adhesion of the first layer determines the ability to create a component and the final quality of the printed item. This paper focuses on using piezoelectric transducers to determine the print head distance. The results presented show that piezo transducer technology has a very high measurement accuracy in the order of micrometers and high measurement repeatability, while meeting the objectives of availability and low cost of the solution desired for FFF printing. Additionally, the issue of coaxial mounting of the measuring tool with the print head was analyzed as well as the influence of relatively high temperatures characteristic for FFF technology on the measurement results.","PeriodicalId":130801,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Conference on Nanotechnology for Instrumentation and Measurement (NanofIM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126324551","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
