However, its low oxidation resistance limits its application in some harsh conditions. Nanotechnology, understood as doping by the nanoparticles the fresh insulating oil, are considered as field for improving the parameters of oil. To investigate the effect of nano-fillers on the oxidation stability of natural ester insulating oil, Envirotemp FR3 commercial natural ester doped by POSS (polysesquioxane) was prepared, and the impact of POSS on the oxidation resistance of natural ester was investigated by experiments. The effect of POSS on the activation energy of the natural ester insulating oil at different temperatures was calculated, and the diffusion characteristics of oxygen molecules in the considered liquid modified by POSS were studied.
