Hypnoparenting is an attempt by parents to bring their children into the subconscious. This study aimed to determine the effect of hypnoparenting on nutritional status in preschool age children at Al-Fathir kindergarten, Tangerang, Banten. Subjects and Method: This was a quasi-experiment with a non-randomized pretest posttest design was conducted at Al-Fathir Kindergarten, Tangerang City, Banten Province from April to August 2020. A sample of 36 selected by purposive sampling. This study was divided into 2 groups: (1) 18 respondents were given hypnoparenting treatment and for the second group; and (2) 18 respondents were not given hypnoparenting. The dependent variable was nutritional. The independent was hypnoparenting. The data were analyzed by non-parametric tests. Results: There was a significant difference between nutritional status before hypnoparenting (p= 0.293) and nutritional status after hypnoparenting (p= 0.406) but there was no effect between changes in nutritional status made in the intervention group (Mean= 16.25; SD= 2.46; p= 0.222) and the control group (Mean= 16.18; SD= 3.88; p= 0.150). Conclusion: Hypnoparenting has effect in nutritional status of preschool age children, but it is statistically non-significant. Next, researchers will conduct further research on overcoming problems in children, especially nutritional problems, and the parents/guardians of students to be more effective in doing hypnoparenting to be maximized. This study aimed to determine the factors influencing the use of modern contraceptives in urban areas among poor women in Indonesia. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study conducted in rural areas in Indonesia. Total of 3,249 women aged 15-49 years who were poor and live in urban areas in Indonesia were enrolled in this study. The dependent variable was the use of modern contraceptives. The independent variables were husband’s work status, desire to have children, age, number of children living with, health insurance, women education, and internet use. Data were collected from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). Data were analyzed using a multiple logistic regression. Results: The use of modern contraceptives among poor urban women in Indonesia reached 59.8%. Women living with actively working husband (OR = 2.64; 95% CI = 1.43 to 4.88; p<0.001), desire to have children (OR = 2.24; 95% CI = 1.87 to 2.67; p<0.001), aged 20-34 years (OR = 1.68; 95% CI = 1.07 to 2.65; p<0.001), the number of children living 3 or more (OR = 1.23; 95% CI = 1.03 to 1.47; p<0.001), and having health insurance (OR = 1.19; 95% CI = 1.03 to 1.39; p<0.001) were more likely to use modern contraceptive methods. Meanwhile, women who are highly educated and women who actively use the internet were more likely to not use modern contraceptives. Conclusion: The dominant factor affecting is the husband’s work status and the desire to have children. Health insurance owned by poor women greatly influences the use of modern contraceptives. It is recommended to improve communication, information and education (IEC), counseling, and access to contraceptive services to continue to be carried out in urban poor areas in Indonesia. Most of the nutritional problems among SAD children are underweight and stunting. Malnutrition in SAD children could be related to their consumption patterns of snack and beverage. This study aimed to examine the relationship between consumption patterns of snack and beverage with the nutritional status among SAD children. Subejects and Method: A cross sectional was conducted in Nyogan Village, Jambi. A total of 78 SAD children aged 5-14 years was enrolled in this study using total sampling. Sample were selected using the criteria of attending Elementary School located in Transocial Village or school-age children living in the Nyogan Village. The dependent variable was nutritional status and independent variable was consumption patterns of snack and beverage. The co-variables were the pocket money, physical activity, breakfast habit, parental income, cultural factor, parental knowledge, and consumption of vegetables and fruit. Data were collected by height and weight measurements and interviews. Data were analyzed by multiple logistic regression. Results: Most of the children were underweight children (15.4%), overweight (10.3%), and normal (74.4%). The average pocket money was Rp. 5,000. 31% children rarely have breakfast, and 58% children came from low-income parents. The Sustainable Development Goals are targeted for 2030 so that the problem of stunting can be fully resolved. In order to reduce the incidence of stunting, interventions through education to increase knowledge and behavior change have been shown to be successful. In order to prevent stunting through mobile applications, communication technology development is expected to be more effective than interpersonal campaigns. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of mobile application as educational intervention to prevent stunting. Subjects and Methods: This was a systematic review study. Articles were obtained from Scopus, ProQuest, and Google Scholar through a search using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA). The articles taken were published in 2019-2020. Results: Of the total of 11 articles, interpersonal educational interventions on health issues have been shown to have significant effects and results. However, there was no study that simultaneously discusses the comparison in one study of the effectiveness of interpersonal education intervention and mobile application. The advantages of intervention through mobile applications were 1) many people in different socio-cultures can accept mobile phones that have been widely used, 2) cost-effective, 3) people can access information easily whenever necessary, and 4) get stronger engagement because monitoring can be carried out continuously. Conclusion: Innovative educational interventions can be carried out through mobile applications with the development of communication technology and health promotion research, which have the advantage of being stronger, easier for the public to accept, stronger engagement, and cost-effectiveness. A sample of 27 respondents was selected using simple random sampling. The dependent variable was hearing loss. The independent variables were factors related to the onset of hearing loss. The data were collected by questionnaire and tuner check. This data were analysed by chi square. Results: Noise intensity (OR= 67.50; 95% CI 5.33 to 854.76; p< 0.001), length of service (OR= 12.25; 95% CI 1.79 to 83.95; p= 0.011), and noisy living environment (OR= 5.87; 95% CI 1.09 to 32.00; p= 0.034) has a relationship with hearing loss. Conclusion: Companies can carry out K3 enhancement and monitoring, carry out periodic scanning or audiometric checks, and create hearing conservation programs and timing or working duration in areas exposed to noise.
