The main purpose of this study was to identify the driving forces behind PhD scholars' decisions to pursue research at PMAS Arid Agriculture University in Pakistan. The nature of the research was exploratory and Nominal Group Technique was applied, to a nominal group of 15 academic scholars. The Nominal Group approach was used in different steps (idea generation, selection, listening, clarification, and ranking and consensus stages). The NGT's results were classified into five categories: social recognition, supervisor support and coordination, intended outcomes, theoretical preferences, and a sense of achievement. Universities are expected to cater to the need for citizenship education to provide skilled and responsible management for the development of a nation. However, there is too scarce research to make any claim about the views of university graduates concerning citizenship. Consequently, it was considered quite imperative to conduct a study to examine knowledge and practices of citizenship among university students. This study was carried out with an objective; to explore the attributes of good citizenship among university students; a questionnaire and a sample of 1500 BS students from 15 private/public universities in Pakistan. The analysis (i.e. mean, percentage and chi-square) exposed the findings that students were significantly in support of building up courtesy/morality, social responsibility, accountability/critical thinking and patriotism. They have urged to contribute to society and provide services for human well beings; they were moderate, trustworthy and avoided discrimination. The majority of students honor property rights’ and race, have firm faith in the welfare of their motherland, possess good moral conduct and respect the authority of rules. This study was aimed to investigate the teacher-student interaction towards chemistry at the secondary level. This descriptive study tends to the positivistic paradigm. 250 subjects were selected based on a random sampling procedure. The responses were collected through the adapted research tool. Mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA were applied to analyze the data. The results show that IX grade students have better interaction than X grade students; female students have better interaction than the male students towards chemistry; private school students have better interaction than the public school students; success in chemistry is affected by teacher-students interaction. Furthermore, the students with more interaction have more success in chemistry. Present study proposed solutions to unpredictable problems regarding the teacher-student interaction. This study was applied to improve teacher-student interaction towards chemistry at the secondary level. This study is delimited at the secondary level in the Pakistani context only. On the other hand,activities that would normally be carried out outside of the classroom are carried out in the classroom.There is a scarcity of evidence on the efficacy of this instructional technique at present. The purpose of this survey was to add to the expanding body of evidence regarding the flipped classroom model of education by investigating how pre service instructors perceive the model as well as how it affects the academic performance of students. When comparing the flipped model to the traditional approach, we found that the conventional method produced significantly better results in terms of academic achievement. A quantitative research technique was used to record the students' responses about the effectiveness of the process through questionnaires. Respondents showed mixed views about different parameters of the process. Students were satisfied with the use of audiovisual aids during instruction, promotion of critical thinking, social and moral values by instruction methods, class discussion, participation of teachers and students in physical activities, and instructions before a specific activity. A significant proportion of the respondents, however, believed that teachers did not use diverse teaching strategies and effective mediums of instruction. Similarly, negative responses were observed about rehabilitation techniques, the role of mentor ship in stimulating students' interest, and the regular arrangement of physical activities. Content and Learning Integrated Learning (CLIL) is one of the emerging language teaching methods. This method is a dual-learning approach which focuses on language learning and content knowledge at the same time. The present research study is about CLIL's impact on the students' speaking proficiency at the primary level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The researchers selected grade fifth students for the research. The respondents of the study were 24 in number, divided into two groups, i.e., experimental and control groups. The pre-speaking test was administered to both groups before the intervention. After the pre- speaking test, the experimental group was intervened with the CLIL method. The data analyzed through SPSS showed a significant difference between the scores of post-tests of the control and experimental group. Similarly, very little difference was found in the results of the pre-test and post-test of the control group which showed that CLIL had a positive impact on speaking proficiency at the primary level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The experimental research design was used for the present research. All twenty 7th grade students enrolled in government secondary school Rera District Bagh AJK Pakistan were taken as sample and generating random numbers, two equal groups were formed. Researchers developed a post-test containing Written MCQ Type questions from Text Book of General science. The data were collected by post-tests in order to find an effective way of teaching using video clips in the teaching of general science at the elementary level. The researcher analyzed data by using a t-test independent sample with the help of SPSS-24 software. The results of the study showed that teaching with educational video clips has a positive effect on achievement. The objectives of the study were to explore the perception regarding professional ethics among secondary school teachers. The researcher employed quantitative research by approach and used a descriptive research design. The researcher applied the survey method to explore the perception of professional ethics of teachers. The population was involved all public school teachers. The sample of the study was two hundred sixty-two public secondary school teachers. Previous research had inferred that B.Ed.students felt difficulty in communication for which methods and modules were suggested; however, the curriculum has not been evaluated for its effectiveness. The present study has explored ELT teachers' perceptions about the effectiveness of the B.Ed. (Hons) 4 year curriculum's (2012) two English core courses regarding students’ speaking and writing skills in public universities and colleges of Sindh,Pakistan, using Stufflebeam’s CIPP model. The data was collected from four purposively selected samples through focus group discussion (FGD) and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed that the curriculum needs revision through the inclusion of objectives, an evaluation scheme and a balanced focus on language skills. The first objective of the study was to explore the role of principals as instructional leaders in TPD. The second objective was to compare the role of principals as instructional leaders in improving TPD as perceived by the Principals and Secondary School Teachers and the third objective was to compare the role of principals (instructional leaders), in improving TPD in the perspective of southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The researcher adopted a quantitative research design for the study. A questionnaire was used for the data collection process. The population consists of principals/headmasters (413) and secondary school teachers (1523), which working at the secondary school level. All the principals and teachers were taken as the main population for the study. A stratified sampling method was used to select the sample from the whole population of 332 (18 Percent), in which there were 68 Principals and 264 SSTs.
