Musim penghujan di Indonesia menyebabkan lahan pertanian tergenang sehingga mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil panen cabai. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh durasi penggenangan terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif dan waktu berbunga cabai merah keriting (C. annum L.) varietas Jacko. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol, penggenangan durasi 1 hari, 3 hari, dan 10 hari. Masing-masing perlakuan menggunakan 5 ulangan. Desain penelitian menggunakan RAL satu faktor yaitu durasi penggenangan. Analisis data setelah perlakuan penggenangan menggunakan uji T taraf signifikansi 5% dan analisis data setelah periode pemulihan 30 hari menggunakan one-way ANOVA yang dilanjutkan ke uji LSD taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi penurunan panjang akar, jumlah daun, ukuran daun, perubahan warna daun, tinggi tanaman, bobot segar akar, dan bobot segar tajuk tanaman setelah perlakuan penggenangan. Diakhir periode pemulihan terjadi peningkatan pertumbuhan vegetatif pada semua perlakuan. Peningkatan durasi penggenangan menurunkan pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman dan menunda waktu pembentukan tunas bunga. Pertumbuhan akar dan jumlah daun selama periode pemulihan merupakan faktor penting dalam adaptasi tanaman terhadap penggenangan. Capsicum annum L. is a horticultural commodity that has high economic value. The rainy season in Indonesia caused agricultural land to be flooded, which affected chili pepper's growth and yield. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of flooding duration on vegetative growth and flowering time of C. annum L. var. Jacko. The treatments consisted of control, flooding duration of 1 day, three days, and ten days. Each treatment used five replications. The research design used one-factor RAL, namely the duration of flooding. Data analysis after flooding treatment used the T-test with a significance level of 5%, and data analysis after the recovery period used one-way ANOVA followed by the LSD test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed a decrease in root length, leaf number, leaf size, leaf color change, plant height, root fresh weight, and shoot fresh weight after flooding treatment. At the end of the recovery period, there was an increase in vegetative growth in all treatments. Increasing the duration of flooding reduces the vegetative growth of plants and delays the time of flower bud formation. Cekaman intensitas cahaya dan salinitas memicu A. marina membentuk fenol sebagai senyawa pertahanan pada kondisi kurang menguntungkan. A. marina pada kawasan Mangunharjo tumbuh baik pada lingkungan pantai dan tambak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan pantai dan tambak terhadap kandungan pigmen fotosintetik dan total fenol daun A. marina. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode observasi dengan melibatkan lokasi pantai dan tambak. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor organ daun A. marina yang hidup di lingkungan pantai dan tambak. Daerah pengamatan dibagi menjadi 6 titik pengambilan sampel. Parameter penelitian yang diamati adalah intensitas cahaya, suhu, salinitas, pigmen fotosintetik (klorofil a, klorofil b, karotenoid) dan total fenol daun A. marina. Analisis data menggunakan Uji T dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daun A. marina di pantai memiliki kandungan pigmen fotosintetik dan total fenol lebih rendah dibanding tambak.  Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan pantai dan tambak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kandungan pigmen fotosintetik dan fenol. Intensitas cahaya dan salinitas tinggi di pantai mengganggu pembentukan klorofil dan Phenylalanine Ammonia Lyase(PAL). Avicennia marina is a major mangrove that is able to survive in extreme conditions such as light intensity, temperature and high salt content. Extreme conditions affect the synthesis and reduction of photosynthetic pigments. The stress of light intensity and salinity triggered A. marina to form phenol as a defense compound under unfavorable conditions. A. marina in the Mangunharjo area grows well in coastal and pond environments. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the coastal and pond environment on the content of photosynthetic pigments and total phenol in the leaves of A. marina. The study was conducted using the observation method involving the location of the beach and ponds. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor of A. marina leaf organ that lives in the coastal and pond environment. The observation area are divided into 6 sampling points. Parameters observed were light intensity, temperature, salinity, photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids) and total phenol of A. marina leaves. Data analysis used T test with 95% confidence level. The results showed that the leaves of A. marina on the beach had lower photosynthetic pigments and total phenol content than those in ponds. This shows that the coastal environment and ponds have a significant effect on the content of photosynthetic pigments and phenols. Atas dasar potensi tersebut, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pakan tambahan tepung daun kelor pada pertumbuhan tulang ekstremitas ayam jantan. Parameter uji penelitian ini meliputi panjang sayap, panjang tibiotarsus, panjang tarsometatarsus, panjang badan, dan panjang paruh. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan meliputi P0 (pakan standar 100%), P1, P2, P3 dan P4 berturut-turut mendapat tambahan tepung daun kelor 1%, 2%, 3%, dan 4% dengan pakan standar 99%, 98, 97%, dan 96%, tiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan uji lanjut Duncan Multi Range Test(DMRT) (P<0,05). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pemberian tepung daun kelor berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan panjang sayap dan panjang tarsometararsus, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan panjang tibiotarsus, panjang badan, dan panjang paruh. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penambahan tepung daun kelor pada pakan berpotensi meningkatkan panjang tulang sayap dan tulang tarsometatarsus yang merupakan bagian dari tulang ekstremitas ayam jantan Moringa leaf (Moringa oleifera) is part of plant that contains nutrients that support rooster extremity bone growth, including protein and calcium minerals. Base on this potential, doing research to analyzing  effect of supplemented Moringa meal on growth of rooster extremity bones. The test parameters of this study include wing length, tibiotarsus length, tarsometatarsus length, body length, and beak length. The research used completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of 5 treatments including P0 (standard feed 100%), P1, P2, P3, and P4, respectively, received moringa leaf additions of 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4% with standard feed of 99%, 98, 97%, and 96%, each treatment was repeated 3 times. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan Multi Range Test (DMRT) advanced test (P <0.05). The results showed that supplementation of Moringa meal was significantly different (P<0.05) of the wing and tarsometatarsal length. However, it was not significantly different (P>0.05) in tibiotarsal length, body length, and beak length. Supplementation of Moringa leaf meal on the diet of rooster did not increase extremity bones at grower phase. Pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi kepadatan sel dan faktor lingkungan berupa salinitas, suhu, pH, oksigen terlarut, serta kadar N dan P total. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan metode analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepadatan sel tertinggi didapatkan pada perlakuan L10S25 dengan rata-rata kepadatan sel 313x104sel/ml. Daun tanaman ini digunakan sebagai bahan pakan karena nutriennya yang lengkap. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji pengaruh substitusi tepung daun kelor dalam pakan itik pengging periode layer pada bobot karkas dan ukuran serabut muskulus pektoralis. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan 60 ekor itik dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 5 perlakuan. Pengulangan tiap perlakuan dilakukan 3 kali dengan 4 ekor itik setiap ulangan. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri atas kontrol (K0) menggunakan pakan standar; K1 menggunakan 97,5% pakan standar dan 2,5% tepung daun kelor; K2 menggunakan 95% pakan standar dan 5% tepung daun kelor; K3 menggunakan 92,5% pakan standar dan 7,5% tepung daun kelor; K4 menggunakan 90% pakan standar dan 10% tepung daun kelor. Analisis data menggunakan one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa substitusi pakan dengan tepung daun kelor tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan (P>0,05) terhadap bobot karkas, bobot muskuli pektoralis, dan ukuran serabut. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah substitusi tepung daun kelor pada pakan itik pengging periode bertelur tidak memberikan dampak pada bobot karkas, muskulus pektoralis, dan diameter serabut otot. Nutrien lebih banyak diarahkan untuk produksi telur daripada sintesis karkas.Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a functional plant that contains lots of nutrients and antioxidants. The leaves on this plant are often used as a feed ingredient because of their potential to increase growth and cells development. The objective of the study is to examine moringa leaf inclusion meal on carcass weight and size of pectoral musculus fibrils of sexually mature laying ducks. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments. Treatment was repeated 3 times. Feeding were carried out at 07.00 WIB and 16.00 WIB. Treatment Control (K0) used standard feed; treatment 1 (K1) used 97.5% standard feed and 2.5% moringa leaf meal; treatment 2 (K2) used 95% standard feed and 5% Moringa leaf meal; treatment 3 (K3) used 92.5% standard feed and 7.5% Moringa leaf meal; treatment 4 (K4) used 90% standard feed and 10% moringa leaf meal. Data analysis used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and regression test using SPSS version 25. The results showed that feed substitution on Moringa leaves did not have a significant effect on carcass weight and fibril size of treated and control ducks. In conclusion, substitution of Moringa leaf meal in pengging ducks feed on layer period had no impact of carcass and pectoral muscles weight, and could not change the diameter of pectoral muscles fibril. Mimba (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang berpotensi sebagai alternatif obat herbal hiperglikemia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ekstrak etanol daun mimba terhadap struktur histologis pankreas pada tikus hiperglikemia. Penelitian ini mengunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan jumlah tikus 24 ekor yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. P0 (kontrol normal) adalah kelompok tikus normal yang diberi akuades, P1 (kontrol negatif) adalah tikus hiperglikemia yang diberi akuades. P2 (kontrol positif) adalah kelompok tikus hiperglikemia yang diberi glibenklamid dosis 2,25 mg/kg BB. P3, P4, dan P5 adalah kelompok tikus yang diberi ekstrak etanol daun mimba dosis 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kg BB. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA pada signifikansi 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan ekstrak etanol daun mimba dosis 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kg BB tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap bobot pankreas, diameter, luas, dan densitas pulau Langerhans (P>0,05). Skoring struktur pulau Langerhans berdasarkan uji Mann-Whitneymenunjukkan hasil beda nyata pada kelompok  tikus yang diberi daun mimba (P≤0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, pemberian ekstrak daun mimba dosis 400mg/kg BB menunjukkan adanya perbaikan morfologi pulau Langerhans. The clinical indicator of Diabetes mellitus was hyperglycemia. P0 (control) was a normal rats group were given distilled water, P1 (negative control) was a hyperglycemic rats group were given distilled water. P2 (positive control) was a hyperglycemic rats were given 2.25 mg/kg BW of glibenclamide. P3, P4, and P5 were rats were given 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg BW of ethanolic neem leaf extract.The data analyzed by ANOVA at 95% significance showed the treatment of 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg BW ethanolic neem leaf extract had no significant effect on the pancreatic weight, diameter, area, and density of Langerhans islet (P> 0.05). The score of Langerhans islet structure based on the Mann-Whitney test showed significant differences in the groups of mice given neem leaves (P≤0.05). Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh serbuk kunyit dan kurkumin pada jumlah dan ukuran sel spermatogonium; spermatosit primer; dan spermatosit sekunder; bobot testis serta diameter tubulus seminiferus Mus musculus yang diberi minuman beralkohol. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), menggunakan 12 ekor Mus musculus jantan yang dibagi kedalam 4 kelompok perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. R0 merupakan kontrol, R1 kontrol alkohol, R2 pemberian serbuk kunyit sebanyak 0,1 mg/hari, R3 pemberian kurkumin sebanyak 0,01 mg/hari. Perlakuan diberikan selama 30 hari. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analysis of variance (ANOVA) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p>0.05) pada jumlah spermatogonium dan ukuran sel (spermatogonium, spermatosit primer, dan spermatosit sekunder), namun terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada (P<0,05) pada bobot testis, diameter tubulus seminiferus dan jumlah sel (spermatosit primer, dan spermatosit sekunder). Turmeric contains curcumin compounds that can be used as anti-inflammatory substances and help repair damaged cells. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of turmeric powder and curcumin on the number and size of spermatogonia cells; primary spermatocytes; and secondary spermatocytes; testicular weight and diameter of the seminiferous tubules of Mus musculus given alcoholic beverages. This study is an experimental study with a completely randomized design (CRD), using 12 male Mus musculus which were divided into 4 treatment groups and 3 replications. R0 is control, R1 is alcohol control, R2 is 0.1 mg/day of turmeric powder, R3 is 0.01 mg/day of curcumin. The treatment was given for 30 days. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at the 95% confidence level. Bunga anggrek sangat indah dan variasinya hampir tidak terbatas. Eksploitasi tanpa pembudidayaan menyebabkan penurunan potensi anggrek alam sebagai tetua persilangan. Selain itu, pengetahuan mengenai sifat-sifat penurunan karakter anggrek alam masih sedikit diulas dan diketahui sehingga pemanfaatan anggrek spesies sebagai induk persilangan belum maksimal. Peningkatan mutu pada tanaman anggrek juga terkendala pada teknik persilangan dan perbanyakan biji hasil persilangan. Kegiatan persilangan banyak menggunakan varietas-varietas dengan tetua yang sama sehingga menyebabkan variasi genetik pada hibrida yang terbentuk menjadi terbatas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengetahui karakteristik bunga tetua anggrek dengan variasi berbeda serta bunga pada anggrek hibrida hasil persilangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan secara morfologi melalui pengamatan langsung kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Batasan penelitian ini menggunakan anggrek spesies dari genus Dendrobium yang digunakan sebagai indukan dan anggrek hibrida hasil persilangan yang telah berbunga kemudian diamati bentuk bunga, warna bunga, bentuk dan warna sepal serta petal. Diabetes telah diketahui dapat menyebabkan komplikasi berupa kerusakan pada jaringan ginjal. Mimba (Azadirachta indica A.Juss) memiliki kandungan antioksidan flavonoid yang mampu menangkal radikal bebas dan memperbaiki jaringan ginjal yang rusak akibat diabetes. Penelitian ini menggunakan 18 tikus putih yang menjadi 6 kelompok perlakuan. P0 (kontrol normal) merupakan tukus normal diberi aquades. P1(Kontrol negatif) merupakan tikus hiperglikemia diberi aquades. P2 (kontrol positif) merupakan tikus hiperglikemia diberi glibenklamid dosis 2,25 mg/ kg BB. P3, P4, dan P5 merupakan tikus hiperglikemia yang diberi ekstrak etanol daun mimba dosis 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kg BB. Data penelitian kemudian dianalisis dengan uji Anova. Untuk data yang tidak terdistribusi normal diuji dengan uji Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak etanol daun mimba tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap bobot ginjal, konsumsi air minum, diameter glomerulus, ruang kapsula bowman, tebal sel epitel tubulus proksimal, dan tebal sel epitel tubulus distal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ekstrak etanol daun mimba  mampu melindungi jaringan ginjal tikus putih dari paparan hiperglikemia Diabetes is  a metabolic disorder that treats chronic hyperglycemia caused by insufficient insulin production and insulin resistance. Diabetes has been  known to cause complications in the form of damage to kidney tissue. Neem (Azadirachta indica A.Juss) has flavonoid antioxidants that can ward off free radicals and repair kidney tissue damaged by diabetes. The purpose of the study was to examine the ethanol extract of neem leaves repairing kidney tissue. The study used 18 albino rats were divided into 6 treatment groups. P1 (negative control) was a hyperglycemic rats group were given distilled water. P2 (positive control) was a hyperglycemic rats were given 2.25 mg/kg BW of glibenclamide. P3, P4, and P5 were rats were given 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg BW of ethanolic neem leaf extract The research data were analyzed by ANOVA. The non-normally distributed data were analyzed by  Kruskal-Wallis. The results showed that the ethanol extract of neem leaves had no significant effect on kidney weight, water consumption, glomerular diameter, bowman's capsule space, proximal tubular epithelial cell thickness, and distal tubular epithelial cell thickness. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan usia panen dengan biomassa dan produksi minyak atsiri pada organ daun serta batang selasih. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial, dengan faktor pertama usia panen (1; 1,5; dan 2 bulan), dan faktor kedua organ tanaman (daun dan batang). Media tanam menggunakan tanah dan kompos (1:1) yang dimasukkan dalam polibag ukuran 30cm x 30cm, dan diberi naungan paranet 25%. Parameter yang diamati: data pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan cabang primer), biomassa, dan produksi minyak atsiri. Analisis data menggunakan Anaylysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan Duncan's Multiple Range Test(DMRT) pada taraf kepercayaan 95 %. Penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa tanaman yang dipanen pada umur lebih tua menunjukkan pertumbuhan, biomassa dan produksi minyak atsiri yang lebih tinggi. Pada usia 1,5 bulan, biomassa meningkat 114,485% dibanding usia 1 bulan, sedangkan pada usia 2 bulan, peningkatan biomasa 91,410%  dibanding usia1,5 bulan. Produksi minyak atsiri tertinggi dihasilkan oleh organ daun pada usia panen 2 bulan sebesar 0,273g, dan 0,023g pada organ batang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa usia panen berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap biomassa dan produksi minyak atsiri tanaman selasih. Basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) contains essential oils that can be used in the cosmetic, perfume, medical industries. This study aims to determine the relationship between harvest age and biomass and essential oil production in basil leaves and stems. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial pattern, with the first factor being harvest age (1; 1.5; and 2 months), and the second factor being plant organs (leaves and stems). The planting medium used soil and compost (1:1) which was put in 30cm x 30cm polybags and was given a 25% para net shade. Parameters observed: growth data (plant height, number of leaves, and primary branches), biomass, and essential oil production. Data analysis used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 95% confidence level. Research shows that plants harvested at an older age show higher growth, biomass, and essential oil production. At the age of 1.5 months, biomass increased by 114.485% compared to the age of 1 month, while at the age of 2 months, the increase in biomass was 91.410% compared to the age of 1.5 months. The highest essential oil production was produced by leaf organs at 2 months of harvesting at 0.273g, and 0.023g in stem organs.
