The process of gathering data influences the researcher's decision to provide the questionnaire to the respondent. This study uses a quantitative approach, using structural equation modeling (SEM) for analysis, and utilizes the Smart-PLS statistical tool. Using a 5% significance level, the research sample examines the tables Isaac and Michael. The sample of this study consisted of 115 employees from various departments in the airport electrical division of Politeknik Matra Udara who had completed the on-the-job training (OJT) program. The analysis's findings indicate that positive work-related behavior has a significant impact on tardiness productivity. This indicates that when an individual's work performance increases, so does their productivity. In conclusion, on-the-job training, or OJT, has been shown to be a significant mediator in the relationship between work performance and turnover productivity. This indicates that on-the-job training has a critical role in increasing productivity.","PeriodicalId":127066,"journal":{"name":"Technium Social Sciences Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141921253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This issue brings to the fore issues related to fundamental human rights, equal opportunities and the need for a comprehensive approach to the integration of this minority group. In many countries, Roma face numerous obstacles in accessing adequate social services. These obstacles can be linked to negative prejudices and stereotypes that lead to discrimination in the provision of essential services, such as healthcare, housing and social care. Also, there are often shortcomings in social infrastructure in the communities where the Roma live, which further aggravates social disparities","PeriodicalId":127066,"journal":{"name":"Technium Social Sciences Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141922489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a region with special autonomy status, Aceh receives a transfer allocation from the central government, which aims to accelerate development and improve people's welfare. In addition, village funds managed directly by the village government and zakat collected through religious institutions play an important role in supporting the local economy and social of the poor. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of special autonomy fund, village fund, and zakat on poverty rate in Aceh Province in the short run and long run. The method used is Panel ARDL by analyzing data from 23 districts/cities in Aceh Province during the period 2015-2022. The estimation results show that the special autonomy fund variable has a negative and significant effect on the poverty rate in Aceh Province in the short term, but has no significant effect in the long term. The village fund variable has a negative and significant effect on poverty in the short term, but has a positive and significant effect in the long term. Zakat has a negative and significant effect on poverty both in the short and long term. The Aceh Provincial Government should conduct more intensive policies in reducing poverty, especially the variables of special autonomy funds, village funds and zakat so that these problems can be resolved.","PeriodicalId":127066,"journal":{"name":"Technium Social Sciences Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141661984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since then Bangladesh is leading in this ship breaking sector around the globe. The rapid growth of this industry is specially driven by national iron demands, income generation, and the easy opportunity of employment for the poor people. As most of the workers working here are poor and hail from underdeveloped regions of the country hence this study was designed to find out the obstacles and opportunities that need to encounter when they leave this industry after extensive working years. The instrument used for this research was semi close ended questionnaires, in depth interviews, ethnographic analysis and secondary research. The respondents are from southern and northern parts of Bangladesh, aged 18 years and above. This study revealed that a majority portion of the out migrant workers are sufferings from numerous challenges such as health issue, social stigma, psychological trauma, restricted employment opportunities, limited geographical mobility and so on. Conversely, only a minority of the out migrators are benefited from this industry, specifically those employed in technical or supervisory roles. Overall, this industry has proven detrimental, creating more obstacles rather than opportunities for out-migrant workers lives.","PeriodicalId":127066,"journal":{"name":"Technium Social Sciences Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141660144","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs is a key strategy for oil and gas companies to promote community development through sustainable social-biodiversity initiatives. The regulation of CSR programs under Law No. 40 of 2007, or the Social and Environmental Responsibility Law (TJSL), provides the foundation for companies to commit to socio-biodiversity principles in their CSR efforts. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga FT Lomanis, an oil and gas extraction company, has implemented its CSR commitments in accordance with the TJSL Law, using the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a reference for sustainable CSR programs. The methodology of this study includes reporting on community empowerment activities and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data collected during the program's implementation. The findings highlight PT Pertamina Patra Niaga FT Lomanis's commitment to implementing social programs in 2022-2023, including the environmental and social impacts achieved. The overall programs are analyzed in a matrix alignment with the SDGs through the Metadata Development Pillar of Bappenas in the RPJMN 2020-2024. In summary, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga FT Lomanis conducted the Emas Komang program (a community empowerment program based on mangrove ecosystem management) which resulted in social impacts such as increased income for SMEs processing mangroves and the sale of mangrove seedlings, ranging from 4-8 million Rupiah and 12-25 million Rupiah, respectively. Additionally, the program had environmental impacts, including increased mangrove density. The socio-biodiversity CSR program through Emas Komang contributed to the achievement of SDGs points 2, point 8, and point 15, reflecting sustainability goals for 2022-2023.","PeriodicalId":127066,"journal":{"name":"Technium Social Sciences Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141659118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At this time, developers increase the launch of presale housing projects to expand business opportunities, indirectly filling the supply gap of existing homes and alleviating housing demand. However, in reality, prices in both the presale and existing housing markets mutually drive each other up, further delaying the stabilization of housing prices. Therefore, whether the launch of presale housing projects can alleviate the demand for existing homes and achieve the function of price moderation becomes a research-worthy question. This study aims to investigate whether the volume of presale housing projects moderates or exacerbates housing prices. We focus on the volatility of aggregate residential housing prices in Taichung City, Taiwan, using transaction data of monthly average prices for Apartmemt complexes Units (high-rise buildings and high-rise apartments) from August 2012 to June 2023. We employ the ARCH/GARCH models to analyze the impact of presale housing project volumes on housing price volatility. Stability and convergence indicate a moderating effect of presale housing project volumes on housing prices; otherwise, it indicates exacerbation. After model testing, this study selects the most appropriate model as the ARIMA(3,1,0)-GARCH(1,0) model. This study finds that during periods of economic prosperity, the volume of presale housing projects does not aid in stabilizing or converging residential housing prices; instead, it exacerbates market disruption.","PeriodicalId":127066,"journal":{"name":"Technium Social Sciences Journal","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141661330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
