Hasyim is a mufassir born in Ciamis Regency, West Java Province, on August 15, 1916 AD. The outstanding work of Tafsir Ayat Suci Lenyepaneun, later translated into Indonesian, namely Tafsir Ayat Suci dalam Renungan, explores the breadth of the author's knowledge by using straightforward Indonesian language so that almost no words or sentences are difficult for people to understand. Presented in the form of Tafsir Tahlili, it provides several alternative solutions to various problems in the modern era. Tafsir Ayat Suci Dalam Renungan uses the method of thought because the intended readers are Indonesian people who are less familiar with Arabic and majas, so anonymous words that are easily understood by the audience.","PeriodicalId":126186,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Transdisciplinary Knowledge","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129653402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research is designed with the descriptive-qualitative methods, in which the researchers collected the data by observation, in-depth interviews, and focused-group discussions. Also, the data analysis technique used refers to the Miles and Hubermas theory, namely data display, reduction, and conclusions. The results indicate that that the halal cart is one of the microbusiness models developed by doing small businesses such as the food vendors who meet the halal (hygienic ingredients and tools) and thayyibah (based on the health and hygiene standards) criteria. The halal cart significantly affects the business owner philanthropic actions where they spare their income for the charity in form of infaq. The halal cart model with sustainable philanthropy can be used for all the microbusinesses in Southeast Sulawesi. As far as we know, there is still little research on the halal cart model with a philanthropic perspective as a good practice for sharia-based micro businesses, especially in Muslim communities, this research is an attempt to enrich insights and fill the gap.","PeriodicalId":126186,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Transdisciplinary Knowledge","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128084128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was conducted to answer the main questions: What are the common beliefs about language learning do the in-service EFL teachers have regarding the approaches to EFL instructions? and what are, in specific, the beliefs about language learning they have in the links with their teaching approaches? The data collected using survey called the Beliefs about Language Learning Inventory (BALLI) provided quantitative data and interviews were used to elicit the qualitative data. The result revealed that in-service EFL teachers share common beliefs regarding their approaches to EFL instructions, with an inconsistent links between their approaches in the importance of grammar in learning a foreign language and the beliefs of nature of language learning. As to the held beliefs there are four beliefs were reported, i.e.: Language learning aptitude, Difficulty of language learning, Nature of language learning, and Learning and communication strategies. This study is hoped to be significant for both theoretical and practical considerations for teachers in the EFL context.","PeriodicalId":126186,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Transdisciplinary Knowledge","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114627419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Discussion card was developed as a response to three major challenges that tend to emerge in discussion groups and participatory exercises. First, it renders new or complex issues accessible. Second, it seeks to contribute to participatory justice and third, the cards allow the introduction of expert opinions without expert presence. The research used qualitative study and involved 10 students studying at Speakgurus English Course. The study was analyzed using reflection questions from 10 students who were taking this course. The result indicates how the students’ feel towards the use of discussion cards. It includes students’ difficulty when they first get involved in the discussion, their preference about the topic and how they feel about their speaking skills development. In general, they show positive feelings towards the use of discussion cards in speaking class. However, there should be longitudinal research to create more contribution on students’ speaking skill.","PeriodicalId":126186,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Transdisciplinary Knowledge","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115926418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a quantitative study with a corpus analysis using AntWordProfiler program. Data was collected from reading comprehension passages involving all words in the passages. The results show that the reading comprehension passages provided a great opportunity to deepen knowledge of first 1,000 most frequent words. However, they did not provide good opportunities to develop knowledge of second 1,000 most frequent words, academic words and unlisted words well. This is because most of the word families found in the reading comprehension passages occurred once and less than five times. In conclusion, the reading comprehension passages provided opportunities to learn first 1,000 most frequent words and lacked the opportunities for second 1,000 most frequent words, academic words and unlisted words.","PeriodicalId":126186,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Transdisciplinary Knowledge","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128392072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
