In providers, a capacity planning phase forecasts the load in order to identify resources, while a quality aware cloud balances in real time SLM and efficiency. In enterprises, a dynamic SLA negotiation system chooses the most convenient provider for commodity services, while a dashboard enables enterprises to analyze the business impact of the cloud Qos. Finally, an independent authority verifies the actual QoS that is delivered by providers to enterprises.","PeriodicalId":125572,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Service Science and Innovation","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123232412","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Given this situation, wellness goals have to include maintaining good health so as to reduce the pressures of medical costs. However, the context of healthcare involves numerous stakeholders and it is difficult to take each stake holder's requirements into account at the same time. To provide a suitable service for different stakeholders, it is important to explore their requirements and values. The reference of customer values in the management field emphasizes the interaction between a user and a product at one point in time. How the complex values effects, among various stakeholders over time, are interpreted is an important issue for wellness service design. A 'Values Exchange Model' (VEM) is proposed for exploring the values of stakeholders in a healthcare system. According to in-depth interviews with different stakeholders and the analysis principle of grounded theory, elements of VEM included: stakeholders, motivation, perception, influence behaviors and time axes. The oriental interview information was interpreted as a VEM. As a result, a pattern of values exchange in wellness activities can be obtained. This model tries to simplify the complex values interaction among various stakeholders in a healthcare system and attempts to help designers discover design effort points. In future study, a design probe according to VEM will be developed and a collaborated design workshop will be conducted. A design method for wellness service design that can meet various stakeholders' requirements will be provided. The guidelines of service design for wellness activities and healthcare systems will also be provided.","PeriodicalId":125572,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Service Science and Innovation","volume":"136 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130606988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Complex business processes can be composed by a group of concrete Web services using WS-BPEL (Business Process Execution Language), and these Web services may be designed by the enterprise itself or provided by some third-party services providers. Today there are many WS-BPEL engines available that support the deployment and execution of WS-BPEL processes. However, WS-BPEL activities have to be pre-defined, and if at runtime a Web service invocation fails, the entire process is pronounced to be failed, thereby jeopardizing the reliability of SOA. Although WS-BPEL supports compensation and fault-handling mechanism, it is complex and not flexible. In this work, we propose a process design model to support dynamic Web services selection that eases the designer's job. This model has been implemented, and the prototype is evaluated to demonstrate that it indeed improves the overall business process reliability.","PeriodicalId":125572,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Service Science and Innovation","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114133089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Upon the model, \"human-based co-design service platform\" is constructed. It plays an important role in building loosely coupled service-oriented applications. Nowadays, although many service discovery mechanisms are available, a lot of efforts do not focus on linking actual business services in real world and most methods do not provide an appropriate relaxation mechanism. Therefore, this study proposes a systematic service discovery approach to address the above issues. The main features of the proposed approach include (1) retrieving services through multiple filters, including kernel property filter, provider constraint filter, and user constraint filter, (2) calculating service ranking scores based on QoS (Quality of Service) constraint values and setting of QoS importance rank, and (3) assisting users in locating appropriate services by using the proposed similarity-distance-based relaxation mechanism.","PeriodicalId":125572,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Service Science and Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130542543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Understanding how to increase customers' loyalty through lifting up the level of satisfaction has been emphasized by both researchers and practitioners. Prior research focuses on overall satisfaction and continuance intention. In this study, we integrate expectation-confirmation theory (ECT) and IS success model to examine how consumers' expectation, perception and confirmation and satisfaction on information quality, system quality, and service quality affects their continuance intention toward online shopping. We surveyed 368 full- and part-time students to test and validate the model and relationship. The results showed that confirmation and satisfaction are strongly affected by perceived quality but not expectation. However, the impact of satisfaction on continuance intention is not as strong as expected.","PeriodicalId":125572,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Service Science and Innovation","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127322470","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
