The aim of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of the school environment and the role of the teacher on learning motivation. This study uses an explanatory survey method with a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. Based on students' perceptions, it can be concluded that the school environment is in a quite supportive category, the teacher's role is in the quite effective category, and learning motivation is in the moderate category. The results of the hypothesis test indicated that the school environment and the role of the teacher have a significant positive effect on learning motivation.ABSTRAKFokus permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh lingkungan sekolah dan peran guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey explanasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh berdasarkan persepsi siswa, dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan sekolah berada pada kategori cukup mendukung, peran guru berada pada kategori cukup efektif, dan motivasi belajar berada pada kategori sedang. Critical thinking is an intellectual process in finding, analyzing, and evaluating information obtained from observations and experiences that will later be used to make a judgment in taking an action. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of critical thinking skills of class X students in one of the Bandung State High Schools. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires in the form of test questions related to critical thinking skills. The population in this study were all students of class X while the sample size was 78 students. Based on this research, information was obtained that the level of critical thinking of class X students in one of Bandung's high schools was in the low category. Thus it is necessary to do better coaching in order to improve students' critical thinking skills for example by applying learning methods that can encourage the improvement of critical thinking skills.ABSTRAKBerpikir kritis termasuk keterampilan abad-21 yang harus dimiliki siswa sehingga dapat bekerja dengan sukses. Berpikir kritis merupakan suatu proses intelektual dalam menemukan, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi informasi yang diperoleh dari observasi maupun pengalaman yang nantinya digunakan untuk melakukan pertimbangan dalam mengambil suatu tindakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuisioner berupa soal tes terkait keterampilan berpikir kritis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X sedangkan ukuran sampelnya sebanyak 78 orang siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diperoleh informasi bahwa tingkat berpikir kritis siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri Bandung berada pada kategori rendah. The method used is the explanatory survey method (explanatory survey) with a quantitative approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to 44 students as respondents. The theory used in this research is Gagne's learning theory. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the teaching skills of teachers and learning facilities on the learning achievement of Grade X students in the Office Administration Department.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh keterampilan mengajar guru dan fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X di jurusan administrasi perkantoran, kuhususnya pada mata pelajaran kearsipan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey eksplanasi (eksplanatory survey) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang disebarkan kepada 44 orang siswa sebagai responden. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori belajar Gagne. The respondents of this research consist of 90 students in grade XI of Office Administration in Vocational High School in Cimahi. The technique of data collection with the use of simple regression analysis. Based on the results of this study, there are some information which are the teacher’s creativity on teaching significantly influences the learning interest for the students in grade XI of Office Administration in Cimahi. This study suggests the teachers to concern creative teaching method in order to increase the students’ learning interest on learning activities.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kreativitas mengajar guru terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan dengan menggunakan metode survey explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai 5 model likert scale. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi yang menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas mengajar guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK di Cimahi. The focus of research relied on the factors affecting student learning interest where learning instrument and teacher interpersonal communication were the anticipated factors which have impact on student learning interest. Focusing on that, we would study three variables namely Learning Instrument (X1), Teacher Interpersonal Communication (X2), and Student Learning Interest (Y). The aim of the study was to obtain information regarding the influence of learning instrument and teacher interpersonal communication on student learning interest in SMKN 1 Bandung. Current research employed explanatory survey method, whilst data collection employed questionnaire with likert scale model. Involved respondents were 103 junior students majoring in Office Administration in SMKN 1 Bandung. Analysis technique used single and double regression analysis. Research findings revealed that learning instrument is at the uppermost category, teacher interpersonal communication is at the average category, and student learning interest at the uppermost category. Results showed that learning instrument and teacher interpersonal communication have positive and significant impact on student learning interest in Archival subject in SMKN 1 Bandung. ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya minat belajar siswa terhadap Mata Pelajaran Kearsipan. Fokus kajiannya pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat belajar siswa dimana media pembelajaran dan komunikasi interpersonal guru merupakan faktor yang diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengkaji tiga variabel yaitu Media Pembelajaran (X1), Komunikasi Interpersonal Guru (X2), dan Minat Belajar Siswa (Y). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari media pembelajaran dan komunikasi interpersonal guru terhadap minat belajar siswa di SMKN 1 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan model skala likert. Responden sebanyak 103 siswa Kelas X Jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran di SMKN 1 Bandung. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh informasi bahwa media pembelajaran berada pada kategori tinggi, komunikasi interpersonal guru berada pada kategori sedang, sedangkan minat belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. The final score of students who have not reached the Minimum Completion Criteria in the School is an indication of the problems studied. This article aims to reveal the results of study on teachers’ profesionalism effects towards X class students’ learning achievement, Office Administration Expertise Program at one of vocasional school at Lembang. This study applied eksplanatory survey research method and questionnaire as technique for collecting the data. The questionnaires were distributed to 81 students. The results of data analysis indicate that teachers’ profesionalism is at fairly good level and students’s learning achievement is at medium level. In relation to this point, teachers’ profesionalism affects positively and significantly towards students’ learning achievement simultaneously and partially. To gain students’ learning achievement, teachers’ profesionlism needs to be developed and improved.ABSTRAKRendahnya prestasi belajar siswa menjadi inti permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Nilai akhir siswa yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) di Sekolah merupakan indikasi terhadap permasalahan yang diteliti.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh profesionalisme guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) swasta di Lembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksplanatory survey, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang diberikan kepada responden sebanyak 81 orang siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa profesionalisme guru berada pada kategori cukup baik dan prestasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Namun demikian, profesionalisme guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa baik secara simultan maupun parsial. It is marked by the achievement of teacher performance in its realization not yet in accordance with the planned target which is caused by not optimal of headmaster leadership. This study consists of two variables: the principal transformational leadership style (X) and teacher performance (Y). The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of the transformational leadership style of the principal, to get an idea of the teacher's level of performance, and to see if there is any effect of the headmaster's transformational leadership style on teacher performance. The method used in this research is eksplanatory survey method. Technique of collecting data by way of dispersion of questionnaire with likert scale model, which is analyzed using simple regression. Its population is 52 teachers in SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung. Data analysis technique used is simple linear regression test. Based on the results of the research, it is found that the headmaster's transformational leadership style is in the effective category and the teacher's performance is in the medium category. Furthermore, the data obtained is linear patterned. From the result of hypothesis test, it is found that the transformational leadership style of principal has a positive effect on teacher performance in SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung.ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya kinerja guru di SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan pencapaian kinerja guru dalam realisasinya belum sesuai dengan target yang direncanakan yang disebabkan oleh belum optimalnya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah (X) dan kinerja guru (Y). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai adanya gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, memperoleh gambaran mengenai adanya tingkat kinerja guru, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksplanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Populasinya yaitu 52 orang guru di SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berada pada kategori efektif dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori sedang. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh berpola linier. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey method. The theory used is the theory of organizational behavior from Stephen P Robbins. The data collection tool is a questionnaire given to respondents of 40 honorary teachers. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that (1) the description of high compensation (2) a description of the conducive work environment (3) an overview of the performance of moderate honorary teachers (4) there is an effect of compensation and work environment on the performance of honorary teachers both partially and simultaneously.ABSTRAKPenelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran tentang kompensasi, lingkungan kerja, dan kinerja guru honorer, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru honorer di SMK Islamic Centre Kabupaten Cirebon.
